I work here, but I am completely unbiased when I say that this is THE spot in Taos if you are looking for books on the southwest. Whether your interest is in Taos itself, general southwestern history, outlaws, women of the west, nature guides, southwestern art, local cooking, Native American history or literature of the American West, this is the place to go. We also have a great selection of southwest-​themed children’s titles, and an awesome array of gorgeous greeting cards made by local artists. There is something in here for everybody!
Currently, we are working on incorporating more contemporary literature, poetry, and nonfiction. This is an exciting time for Fernandez de Taos, and if you are in the area, you should do yourself a favor and stop by!
We also offer shipping and are proud to make special orders for books that we may not have in stock. And as an added bonus, we are right next to World Cup, so grab one of their famous Americanos and come on by!
