Great pizza. I’d like to eat here more often but just can’t afford it all the time as a local. I recommend it for tourists though. I just wish they would do a happy hour here or a locals deal or something.

You think I’d be getting used to crappy service in Taos. Not yet. I ordered pizza at 6:05 for pick up at 6:25 and arrived early. No pizza. They«lost» my order and asked for 15 minutes to remake it. Well, 23 minutes later it’s ready and for my trouble they graciously took one dollar off. Wow, my time is worth $ 3 an hour to keep my business. The pizza was fantastic but ask me when I plan to go back…

My favorite thing about Taos? It’s not a ski town. It’s the antithesis of a ski town. It’s not remotely similar to Beaver Creek or Vail or Telluride, even though it hosts, arguably, one of the best ski resorts in the entire country. Taos is old, it’s comparatively impoverished(sure, Julia Roberts has a place out here, but drive the side streets or ask a local about the economy), and it’s authentically, funktastically artisan. And the food beats the piss out of anything Steamboat Springs dishes up. As usual, Unilocal directed me to this creatively and appropriately titled pizza and sammich shop, and man, the visit just nailed… Taos. Just a little shack on the outskirts of town, it had the intangibles: friendly service, the aforementioned funky ambiance, and everything we ordered — Italian & Peak sandwiches, meatball & eggplant parmesan«tunnels», side salads — was just better than good. Just good enough to raise eyebrow after eyebrow after each bite. Alongside the solid beer selection, it won me over, which is consistently my experience each and every time I visit this city. Enjoy.

Great service, even better food! This is probably our new favorite pizza in Taos… one of our boys had fettuccine and it was great; the other had the fish & chips and it was amazing. The pizza is wonderful! Can’t wait to come back!

This place is delicious! You can get any of the specialty pizzas by the slice! Also, the service was excellent! Thank you, Janet!!! Wow!

The best fish and chips In town! Only gave it three stars cuz of my the price. Real easy to rack up a $ 80 bill there when on a date, which to me goes against the cosmic laws of pizza. But then again, every«good» restaurant in this town is way over price anyway… When in Rome, right?

We came twice on our 3-day trip. Had pizza, pasta, and a deli sandwich– all were delicious. Very large portions. Friendly service, and a calm, low-key atmosphere. Loved it!

Very good pizza, friendly service and a nice atmosphere. This is the perfect place to eat after a day of hitting the slopes. If you get an appetizer, order the buffalo wings. Stellar!

Outstanding New Mexico restaurant with a great local vibe. Pizza was fantastic and robust. Numerous varieties available. Very intimate dining room with a pueblo vibe. Great music playing. A large pizza and a glass of wine here are a fantastic way to end a great day skiing

I would love to give a good review BUT the food sucked. The service was even worse. Tattooed chic with bleached hair had BAD attitude — asked for owner since he runs it & he was just too busy to bother to serve his customers. If you want a mediocre dinner then go here and if you like bad service then def go here!

After a day of sightseeing and visiting gift shops, we stopped at Pizanos for dinner. My wife had the vegetarian lasagna and I had spaghetti with Italian sausage. Both of our meals were very good. Service was excellent.

Good food in this part of the country is rare and this place did not disappoint. After having lived in the Santa Fe /Los Alamos /Taos area for several months and being disappointed by 80% of the restaurants I went to(and about 95% had horrific service), I was thrilled to find this gem. Delicious food, nice views and friendly staff!

Always good service and food. I’ve had the pizza, sandwiches and salads and they are all great. My last time I had the fish and chips and they were excellent.(maybe a little greasy) I would highly recommend this place.

This place is 2.5 hours from where I live and I would drive here for the food/beer if I had the time. Awesome local microbrew draft beer options(Taos Mesa Brewing) as well as a couple of larger companies(Sierra Nevada, New Belgium). The spinach salad, any pizza, and garlic bread with cheese is excellent. The service is also excellent… A real gem in the north side of Taos!

Not only is the pizza great, but the pasta dishes are too. I had the vegetable lasagna. Incredible! The spinach salad that comes with it is just as incredible. The servers are cheerful. I do like this place a lot. Go early or maybe wait for a table. It is a popular place.

Small quaint pizza joint. We just stopped in to get take out, and had a beer while waiting. The spinach salad was amazing, with a great house-made vinaigrette. Great date night location.

Excellent pizza. Wonderful spinach salad. Good beer selection, including drafts. OK service. Nice patio– but not dog friendly. Wish they would set up other side where broken down picnic table is for dog lovers.

The pizza here was excellent. I loved the crust and the toppings were excellent. Went with the Rio Grande as the standard supreme pizza and it was superb. The craft beer available was great but the selection is a little limited. We were lucky that there was a table available when we went. The place is small and there were quite a few parties that showed up after us that had to wait for a table.

Love this place. It looks quite small on the outside, but is a bit bigger on the inside. Reservations are recommended as they have three 4-tops in the main area and a few tables in the two side rooms. The staff is very friendly and the Agave wine margaritas are awesome! We went two nights in a row after skiing at TSV. Onyx(Anee) was our waitress both nights and was wonderful. The first night, the kids got the Contractor pizza(awesome!!!), I got the salmon ravioli and my wife got the smoked turkey sandwich on Sourdough. I thought my ravioli was going to be stuffed with smoked salmon, but instead it was cheese ravioli, with cooked spinach on top, with half a salmon filet topping it all off. It was good, jut not what I was expecting. The next night we all shared a large half Rio Grande, half White Feather. Again, awesome. The kids didn’t enjoy the roasted garlic on the White Feature, but I sure did. My wife also got a spinach salad which was wonderful. We highly recommend this place, but hope it doesn’t become so popular we can’t get a table. My wife will be back in the Taos area in May for a college workshop and will definitely be back!

Great service, great views, great food! We sat in the back outside and enjoyed the view as the wings, pie and salad were prepared. Very friendly staff and attentive!
