Came here for a hair and make-​up trial for my wedding that’s in July. Bobbi Jean helped with my hair and Emily did my make-​up. Both were fantastic and made me feel special and understood the importance of the trial! The salon is super cute and if I lived in Taos this is definitely where I would get hair my done.
I booked appointments for my wedding and also scheduled a massage with Emily which I’m very much looking forward to!
I was very impressed with Salon Marjorie and I appreciate their fantastic customer service! Can’t wait to go back :)

Loved this place and wish it wasn’t 1,200 miles away! Dropped in when I was in town and was totally amazed with my appointment with Kimberly. She has a very unique waxing technique using ice cubes that really helps to numb and calm your skin, and just makes everything super-​smooth. She was totally thorough, friendly and knowledgeable about skin issues — if you’re wary of trying out waxing, she’s your girl. Totally exceeded my expectations!

Kimberly Cook is back! The former front desk favorite is now an esthetician and massage therapist. When I call to book an appointment, it’s difficult to choose whether to book a facial or a massage because she is the BEST at both. She is incredibly knowledgeable AND friendly. Taos is lucky that she decided to return! She could be working in a fancy day spa anywhere in the country, I’ve never had a better massage or facial anywhere. Kimberly also keeps her prices quite affordable for the girl (or guy) on a budget. I think next time, I’ll book both a facial and a massage… what a treat! Thanks Kimberly, you rock!

Marjorie is a hair goddess. She’s also a great photographer. Conversations rise above the usual hair salon gossip and you just might find yourself discussing the pros and cons of straw bale housing while she’s fixin’ your ‘do. Moving away from Taos was hard enough but leaving Marjorie and her scissors of magic behind was almost heartbreaking. I’m back annually and love to pop in and see what the ladies here are up to.
Oh, and getting a gift certificate for dear mom here was a genius plan! Mom loved the facial — I think I’ve solved the age old question «what do we get mom for… Christmas, mother’s day, her birthday, easter» or whatever holidays and special occasions a nice gift is required.
