While in Nordstroms in Denver I spoke to a woman wearing a great graphic black and white jacket. She told me she purchased the item in the Spotted Bear in Taos. While on a ladies weekend in Taos and Santa Fe, my friends and I stopped in and each of us found unique items we adored. I left the store with 2 new tops and 1 jacket and can’t wait to wear them. I am a plus size woman and they had a nice selection of items to fit me which was a nice surprise. The sales women were very helpful and friendly!!!

Spotted Bear has been around for at least twenty year in Taos. I remember shopping at their old location on Paseo del Publo Sur. Great place to hunt for something special. Cute Obi style sash belts, they have great sales too.

The cute dresses in the display window caught my attention.
This store seems to be geared toward women in their late 20s to 40s (maybe even 50s+). They have very cute dresses, wraps, coats, accessories, etc. I came across some unique pieces that I haven’t seen before.
I tried on a dress that I liked but it was a little too «print-y» for me. There were also some good sales going on like 40% off sweaters.
Ladies, grab your moms, and head over to the Spotted Bear to do some shopping while getting in some quality mother/daughter time.
