What a rip! This MO-tel charged 70 $ for an outdated tacky motel room. No it was not any better than a Motel 6 that charges 45 $. They call a waffle machine continental breakfast. CHEAPCHEAPCHEAP. The only reason I stayed was bc it was already late and I was exhausted from my road trip. The guy at the front desk told me that the same rooms go for 120 $ on holiday week-ends. Either he was lying or they are out of their minds.

we would agree with the other reviews; this place sucks. we stayed there after Christmas and the freaking heater didn’t work and they couldn’t give us another room because the other empty rooms had buster heaters too! when we plugged in our cell phone charger into the bathroom electrical plug-in it tripped the ground fault protection circuit — serious!

Dump. Stayed in a two bedroom suite with two friends and we were quite disappointed. First of all the AAA discount knocked $ 4 off of the rate($ 4? Really?) so we still paid over $ 40EACH. My bed was mushy and squeaky. I had no reading lamp just a bright overhead light(harsh light to try to read by). The«suite» was strange with two bedrooms next door to each other and two bathrooms across the hall. The other bedroom was missing a closet door. The icky reused bedspread did not match the drapes and instead of pictures on the walls, someone had hung two of those $ 10 Mexican blankets over a dowel and called that«décor.» The walls showed evidence of previous patching and repainting. One bathroom had a sketchy«whirlpool» tub which leaked and wouldn’t fill up. There were no towel racks. The hall doubled as a dining area with an uncomfortable little table, ancient small fridge and chintzy coffee maker. The place just reeked of cheap. The sheets were clean, but I’ve stayed at Motel 6s that were nicer than this.

We needed a cheap place to stay for the night before skiing. The price was right and the quality was standard. I would come back if I needed another cheap place. Suggestion: get rid of the bed cover design… worst I’ve seen. Thanks: for the continental breakfast… nothing special, but a nice detail.

Got a discount for a «cracked tub», would have been nice if the screeching toilet was mentioned. I had to turn off the water to the toilet in the night. Very thin walls and doors, don’t expect too good a night sleep if the construction workers are close to your room.

At least there were no bed bugs!!! The room was okay — you know a regular Super 8 room. The staff there was very nice though. Told us about the points of interest in Taos, NM. Beautiful area, very artistic people. Once in the room you could hear people in the hallway and the toilets were very loud! I don’t know if they were loud because of people making funny noises or it was the plumbing!!! We needed two rooms because BF brought his adult son with him — ugh! So, this place was a little further away than the other motels/hotels from the main drag of Taos, but it was about $ 40 cheaper(due to 2 rooms). Had a continental breakfast which consisted of cereal and mini muffins. I bypassed this.
