Gilchrist Charles P III Dr

This place is great, I’ve been to this office twice now for my eye exams. (June 2013 and June 2015) and I really love it. The staff are all wonderful ladies and Dr. Gilchrist is probably one of the best I’ve ever seen. And I’ve been in glasses/​contacts for over 20 years, so I’ve seen my fair share of physicians… he takes the time to ask questions and if you wear contacts he places them in your eye, checks your vision again as well as the fit before sending you on your way. Today he had me wait 10 extra minutes before I left just to make sure the lenses had settled ok and that my vision was accurate. These were also a different brand and style then I’d had previously. Gotta say I really love this place. My only gripes being… it’s in Tappahannock. A good 2 hour round trip for me. 2^nd gripe is that both times I’ve been the appointments run a little lengthy because I wasn’t seen «on time» Appointment time 10:30, got there 10:20 taken back for exam 11:10…didnt leave until 12:15…other than that if you are looking for quality eye care with a fabulous Dr this is the trip worth making.
