Just before crossing the NJ/NY border we stopped here for a bit of dinner. Like many upgraded diners these days, the prices were on the north end of moderate here, while our food choices were only average. Shrimp and eggplant parmigiana was sloppily plated, featuring dry slices of breaded and fried eggplant slacked up and sauced just over the top… nothing in between the layers. Must have some lazy cooks on the line back in the kitchen. The shrimp tasted faintly of iodine, indicating their age or the fact they they were stored improperly. The whole mess was topped with a bland tomato sauce and melted mozzarella. The salad that came with the dinner was good, as was the blue cheese dressing. Service was crazy as they were in the middle of a busy dinner rush. 10 minutes to get our order taken, but she tried her best to keep it together thereafter. Nothing special here this night, however we have been here before with better luck and different selections. You may fare better, also.

This is our local choice for a diner. They really have amazing food most of the time. I’ve been going at least 2x a month for several years and I’ve not been happy with the food twice — unfortunately the last time was very recently. Everyone is very nice and very efficient. Their Spanish food is delicious!

I wish I lived nearby. Every detail of my meal was fantastic. I had Camarones al Ajillo with sautéed broccoli. The shrimp were cooked well, the sauce was fantastic, and the broccoli was at that point where it maintained firmness but wasn’t undercooked. The service provided by Aleyda was exceptionally good as well. If I stumble through this neck of the woods ever again, I will make it a point to visit! Cheers!

The food was really good. I had a steak quesadilla and it was perfect. The staff was friendly and nice and we were seated immediately. There was a line to pay the check but that was to be expected at a diner in the late evening. The waiter promptly took our orders, drinks arrived quickly and were refilled often. Not much more to say except I’ll be back.

You can expect to get an above average diner meal from here, nothing flashy about it but I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here. Perfect place to bring the kids, a bit loud but that’s perfectly fine with me considering it is indeed a diner. Maybe nightly dinner specials during the week. My go to meals are the penne ala vodka or any of their wraps. Usually pay about $ 45 for my family of 4… Not to shabby. The staff had been there for years and know most of the regulars by name… Just remember when you go here your not going to a fine dining establishment so base your reviews on the fact that your eating at a «family restaurant» also know as a diner!!!

This place has great food, prompt service, and in my opinion one of the better diners in the area. Give this place a try for lunch and you wont be disappointed.

For a diner it’s fairly decent food. The staff are all super nice, and you get your food quickly. It’s always crowded for weekend lunch, and I always enjoy what I get

never disappoints. always a great standby and we have never been let down. there are many diners in the area and this is the one we always come to. The staff are quick and friendly and this place is always packed for a reason. Enjoy

We have eaten in this restaurant numerous times and have never had a bad meal. The service is always exceptional and truly friendly, but this was not the case on 2÷8÷15. It took more than 30 minutes to receive simple sandwiches and omelets and the service was substandard. The maitre D said they were having trouble with their credit cards, but I think he meant the waiters access cards. Anyway, we will give them another try, but this was a very poor experience — hopefully just a fluke(and not the fish!)

Decent place, lots to choose from. I happen to like the soup and the chicken wings. Corn beef hash and eggs never disappoints.

If you’re a whiner who thinks that every food service establishment without a «dollar menu» must make things to suit your tastes ‘perfectly’, don’t go here. This isn’t a place for Michelin or Zagat trendsuckers. It’s just good, straight-fwd diner style food, and you get what you pay for. What I love is the service; no mistakes on food orders, no waiting/looking around for your server, and quick turnaround. Today was a perfect example — I walked in, sat down, ordered breakfast and was done eating in SEVENTEEN minutes — in that time they topped off my coffee TWICE. And yep, they have a bar with a cocktail menu, which is why I’ll accept that they refer to themselves as a «restaurant» instead of a diner.

Called in tonight to see what time they were open till. Told 10:30pm. Thought we were fine because it was 9:30pm when we got there. Placed our order. Waitress was very pleasant and got our food quickly. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy our meal due to the VERYLOUD vacuuming taking place right by our table. They didn’t even have the decency to start at the other end of the restaurant!!! I DONTUNDERSTANDWHYTHEOWNERWOULDALLOWDEEPCLEANINGOFTHECARPETINGTOTAKEPLACEWHILECUSTOMERSARESTILLTRYINGTOEATTHEIRMEALS!!! Just unacceptable!!! Used to frequent this place often. Just remembered why we don’t go there anymore. Although their food is decent, as is their wait service, the owner just doesn’t give a damn about his customers, just his bottom line. $$$

It’s diner-fare food but great and friendly service. Baked clams were a bit on the bland side, porterhouse was requested to be medium but was medium rare, chili had hint of choco but lacked flavor, shrimp gumbo was more like a chowder but yum and the linguine Vongole was tasty but clams were a bit on the salty side. Service was fast even though it was a busy Saturday night at 7.

Like everyone says, this should really be a diner. Had breakfast here today, and it was packed, but it is Sunday so that’s expected. But no wait! I had the house omelette, spinach, swiss and mushrooms. Was fine, nothing terribly special. He had the western, and said it was a bit salty. Side of bacon was good, but you can’t really mess that up. Our waitress was friendly. Plenty of parking.

Great atmosphere IMO. Friendly staff and good food. Its on a main road with adequate parking and it seems to be very popular with a diverse and casual crowd. I wasn’t amazed by this place eat all but I will eat here again because it is close to my home and a decent diner type environment. There really isn’t much more to say about this place except that the prices are also decent and the place is kid friendly. Overall its average.

This place is always packed and I have no idea why. The food is pretty awful. I came here for breakfast after a friend’s wedding so I needed a nice, big(and good) breakfast. I got none of those things. Their«famous» french toast is famous for reasons I cannot comprehend. I got one full slice of french toast and another slice cut in half to make it look like they actually gave me three pieces. The two or three small pieces of bacon that came with it didn’t taste great and the sausage I ordered was simply heinous. Their corn beef hash tastes like dog food. Again, no idea why this place is always crowded. It’s not like there aren’t other diner options in the area. You can certainly do better.

Typical diner food but overpriced. With so many other diners around it is not worth it to go there.

This place is… well…a disappointing diner. The service stinks. The food is mediocre. The atmosphere is… well, pleasant enough, I guess. I can’t figure out why the parking lot is always packed. Is it the«lobster special» banner on the building? The Northvale Classic diner just down the road is so much better.

Okay Family diner. Food quality is what you’d expect at diner, nothing special. Service was fast and friendly, tool great care of a group of 12. Had Spanish version of shrimp scampi, for $ 19, it was almost ALL rice, and only 5 pcs of mid size shrimp. That’s total rip off. I guess if you have a burger($ 6), that’s cheap meal, but I’d stay faaaaaaar away from regular meal dish unless your rich uncle is paying.
