I have to give this 4 stars. The only negatives are that there is not a lot of shade and that there are no barriers in between sites so everyone can see what everyone else is doing, which is a BIG negative as far as I am concerned. Now, everything else is positives… this place has just been taken over by a family that really cares about the campers. The place is very clean and on an mountain top with awesome panoramic views. Most of the spaces are on the edge of the mountain with power for a very reasonable price. Alcohol is also permitted, which is rare in this part of the camping universe. We camped in tents and the spots had tables and fire pits, along with level areas for the tents and the sites are very spacious. There is also water at each site with multiple spigots. They have one washer/dryer in their basement along with a flush toilet and shower, which seems kind of ghetto being in their basement and all but in all honesty, it is very clean and inviting and they even had some dry clean towels for campers to use(which came as a great surprise as all my towels were wet from being on the road, camping in the rain for the last few days and I was going to use a small hand towel!) There is also a port o potty right by our campsite. There are many campers here but they are very quiet and nice and everyone waves to one another which we don’t get in California very often. We feel very safe here. If you want a spot in the shade, plan accordingly because if you will be at your site more in the afternoon, get a space on the west side. If you are going to be in your site more in the morning, get a space on the east side. You can’t have shade all day unfortunately. Anyway, due to how awesome our hosts are and the overall atmosphere I am definitely a fan.
