Unique find on a little side street in Downtown Tarpon Springs. Pasta, sandwiches, salads, wine, beer. Lovely bistro with olive oil and vinegars to sample. Nice friendly couple owners with good service. This is a nice addition when you are tired of Greek food on the Sponge Docks.

Great experience. The staff tells you which oils and vinegar’s to pair with which foods. They have an olive oil and balsamic vinegar bar. The citrus habenero olive oil adds three levels of flavor. The pananinis and pasta were all excellent. Fresh ingredients by people that care always shows. next time I’ll go for dinner and see what wine and beer they pair with their food.

Finally a nice low key place that doesn’t sling food and yell at you ! Olive the World is a small intimate bistro, in the true sense of a European bistro, with excellent food prepared by the owner, Chris along with his wife Gini who is up front. The place is quiet on a little side street in Tarpon Springs. You can actually have a conversation with your friends while eating good quality food and not have to shout over music or others yelling at each other. Finally somthing besides Greek Food or Chillis in Tarpon ! I discovered it while on my walk one day, came back with friends for dinner that night, went again for brunch the next day(Sunday) was back again today(two weeks later) for an excellent brunch again and can’t wait to go again. I am taking my staff there for a Christmas party in December and I know they will love the unique experience. And in case you were wondering, I have no financial interest in the place, not a family member or even friend, although the owners are very nice people. This is just an honest to goodness excellent review and I hope they do really well. One can only hope others will bring new and interesting dining experiences to this long ignored quaint little Florida town.

Love this new place. The food(so fresh!) was great, and the Tuscan décor and atmosphere make for a European dining experience here in Tarpon. Friendly owners, unique menu. Will absolutely be going back!

Delightful little gem on a side street close to all the antique shops. 3 of us were shopping and decided to eat lunch I Unilocaled and found this fairly new place that had one 5 star review. We decided to take a chance and see if we agreed. I am unclear why it is listed under tapas because what I saw on the menu were paninis, interesting salads and some pastas. No little plates at all. the paninis were wonderful, filled with a wide variety of items. Mine had prosciutto and arugula and it was fresh and crisp. One of us had a beautiful salad and she licked the bowl. Everything is fresh and well made. On top of that they have flavored oils and vinegars, many, and you can add whatever you like to your salads or sandwiches. We liked them so much we each bought a bottle, reasonably priced at $ 11 each. Service was fast and personable. Give it a try and try the hibiscus iced tea served in stemless wine glasses. Yummy!

Not burgers or fried things :) Really enjoyed Olive the World. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting and the owners, Chris and Ginie are very nice and helpful. Took my mom and daughter and we all thought the food was to die for. Best part was sampling all the different oils and balsamic’s. We had lunch, but with the many pasta dishes on the menu, we’ll be back for dinner. Also the beer and wine list looked very yum!
