My favorite Panera by far! The staff was very nice and helpful. One of the managers Pamela was so sweet she answered any questions I had and even recommended me some of the new items on the menu. I love this Panera!

I really wish I could have given this restaurant 5 stars because I love Panera, but 4 stars it is. I went in tonight, a Tuesday evening, to order to-go. One bread bowl and steak and white cheddar panini, both with Panera’s always delicious broccoli cheese soup. Food was excellent. However, when I was standing and waiting for my food, the manager Pamela proceeded to make fun of my name on the ticket to the employees. She did it three times until one of the guys mumbled to her that I was watching. She glanced at me and then back to her employees and shouted that that was the incorrect way to say it… as if she wasn’t the one saying it!!! This manager was super rude and completely unprofessional. It’s one thing to make fun of a name; it’s another to belittle a customer’s name in front of employees and customers. Oh yeah, when a large group of people came in; a huge family, full of good eaters ;) The older lady asked the manager Pamela as she was walking by how much a you pick two was, and she just ignored her and kept walking to the kitchen, which is when she proceeded to make fun of my name. Restaurant relatively clean. One guy was sweeping. the end

I ordered the Napa Almond Chicken salad sandwich, and while it was quite tasty the quantity of chicken mix was pathetic! There was about a tablespoon’s worth on the sandwich. I asked the girl behind the counter if it was a mistake and I was told the manager made the sandwich. She did add more to the sandwich for me… but seriously they should be putting more on the sandwich for what you pay($ 5.39)!

What a horrible place to work! The manager hired me for full time and lied because she was only scheduling for 2 days a week, Saturday and Sunday and she was only scheduling me for four hours those days and she harassed me on the job and said that I wasn’t brewing the tea and coffee the right way and want cleaning the tables fast enough. And then she said that I had to wait until the end of the month, and she never paid me on that day and kept lying and said that I already received my paycheck and when I told her I didn’t she said to come back in two hours and she would give it to me. I came back and still no paycheck and she postponed it two more hours and I said no. You’ve got to be kidding me and why do you not have my paycheck and why have I not been paid yet. And I told her that I wasn’t going to leave the restaurant until she gave it to me, And she called the cops and said that I was disturbing the peace of the customers and that wasn’t true. I never yelled or raised my voice and I had waited and been overly patient with her to give it to me and she never did. they cops told me that they were going to give me a warning and they were going to just drop me off at my apartment. They told me that I didn’t need the money and ask me what I was going to do with it, party? And Then I told them to not talk to me like that and then they took me to jail because I said that. Then they tried talking to me in jail and I refuse so they took me to county jail and then made me sit there for four hours and then released me on unsupervised R.O.R. And then my picture was put online and I started calling the set up an appointment in court for a trial to prove that I was innocent and ironically enough, no answers. Days and day went by and nobody answered me or bothered to call me back. And then finally somebody did and just told me that my case was dropped and I asked them what was that supposed to mean? And I found out that they were just trying to tell me that I was innocent and that they didn’t want to admit it. Then I saw that my picture was taken off online mysteriously and ironically enough right after I had just talked to them on the phone and I figured that the manager and the company or restaurant must have found out I was going to trial and got scared and it must have been my manager that was stealing my paycheck. She also had been avoiding me when I had asked her why she didn’t want to give me my paycheck. Had I knew what I know now, I would have better defended myself! Who wants to work at a store like that! Thanks to them I have flashbacks and ptsd and always worrying if my next employer is going to treat me the same way and I have anxiety. Thanks Panera Bread for a everything!

First let me start by saying… I love Panera Bread. Now for my review of THIS Panera in Tarpon… eww. What is with the gnat problem? I’ve been in here 100 times and EVERYTIME there are gnats everywhere. It’s disgusting. They are on the windows. Flying in my face right now as I type this. Landing in my food. I would avoid this place until they get it under control. It has been like this for as long as I can remember… and I have a good memory. Doesn’t seem like that hard of a problem to solve if they tried a little. I won’t be returning.

Foods good but that FREAKINGNASTYTEA is a put off. I am normally to busy to ever call corporate but after asking the manager 768 times to make sure the tea containers don’t run out or get swapped or mixed together I made that call. Besides the fact they constantly mix the flavored teas together they are always out of regular tea because they only make a few gallons at a time. Corporate didn’t seem to give a shit neither did the manager. How hard would it be to add another kettle of tea? Also what’s with all the questions when you order, it just wastes a lot of time.

Ugh, what a headache! I gave this two stars, the second star for the idea that in theory they have some nice bread here. And if you’re lucky, the bread won’t be stale or burned. But here is my most recent miserable experience here: It was well before noon, and not busy. I asked for a chicken salad on a croissant, but they said they were out of croissants. Then I thought to ask, «The last time I had chicken salad here it was mushy with fruit and hard nuts. Do you have just regular chicken salad?» The answer was«No», so I asked, «okay, then, can I have a spinach and bacon soufflé?» The answer, «We’re out of that.» I then said, «How about the spinach and artichoke soufflé?» The reply, «No, we’re out of that, too. But you can have the ham and cheese soufflé.» Since I had to go, I said, «Okay.» What came out was burnt and dry, with hardly a thimble full of ham and cheese in the center. I have never had such a sorry excuse for a soufflé in my life. I dropped it in the trash on my way out, and went on to get a real lunch at a real restaurant.

Tarpon Panera. has Insects All over the place, even in food. Over a month ago we ordered a breakfast sandwich and cofee and we couldnt finish our meal because the flying insects were everywhere. We told the manager and he said that they were working on the problem, at that same moment we noticed that they were being inspected by the health dept She did not offer a refund or anything. My wife had ordered a salad to go, and later in the afternoon when she was ready to eat it, she noticed bugs in the Salad. One Month later update: There is still small insects flying in dining room. We had been going to the Feather Sound Panera for a couple of years and loved it, We just moved to Tarpon and we are so disapointed in this Panera. Managment and owners should be ashamed.

The staff at this location did an amazing job and fending off a seemingly never ending line of customers. Each cashier remained calm, accurately took orders and kept the line moving. The rest of the staff also did an excellent job keeping the dining area clean and organized. 5 stars to the staff. On the other hand we had the food. Scalding hot burnt coffee with tasteless breakfast sandwiches. No thank you panera, i will stick to big apple bagel or Einstein bagels for my breakfast sandwich needs.

Panera bread is a chain of breakfast/lunch restaurants that are throughout the United States. If you have never been it is definitely worth a stop for a morning cup of Joe, a pastry, bagel, sandwich, soup or salad. Clean location and friendly staff. The pastry case is very alluring and is like walking into the devils den if you are a «carbaholic» like me. Food preparation went fast for my to go order. I got the egg white spinach avocado breakfast sandwich. I asked the girl what would be the healthiest breakfast option they had and that is what she suggested. It was quite good. It was fresh spinach, egg white Patty, avocado and a slice of cheese on a whole-grain bagel top. I don’t know how low-fat it was with the added cheese but it washealthier option and all the pastries. All in all a solid trip to this local chain.

Standard Panera always come to this one when we are here. I get a kick out if all the Greek speaking clients. The only annoying thing??? Make more soufflés if you know you sell out of them this fast. And speaking of fast I know this isn’t NYC but can you please hand met bagel faster? I’m hungry.

Have not been to Panera for awhile. Decided i wanted a bowl of Clam Chowder. I noticed the TWOFER sign. The menu stated one could order certain items for that price. But did not see the price stated so like most customers did not ask. My bowl of soup was hot. I wanted some fresh cracked black pepper. But no… all that was provided in the way of condiments were those tiny paper pepper packets(say that three times.) C’mon people you are so cheap you cannot provide pepper mills. Certain some executive found the clientele stealing these and this was the result. Finally sat down to eat. The soup was flavorful but a thin gruel. I did find one potato of decent size and one only large clam that was very chewy. Last time for this chain.

«Panera strives to offer a healthy selection of food and beverage.» That was the assistant manager’s explanation in why they changed their recipes. She added that it was a corporate decision. As I already voiced my opinion to corporate, I don’t expect any change; but, I want my fellow Unilocalers to know. I used to love Panera. They had the best French onion soup, some of the best sandwiches, and the best mac and cheese. Then, about a year ago… without warning… the French onion soup I ordered tasted like flavorless broth with soggy onions. My salty ham sandwich disappeared from the menu and the bacon strips on sandwiches are paper thin. Their prices have jumped quite a bit too. Tonight was about $ 30 for three pick two meals with one drink and two waters. You will have to decide for yourself, but if I want a super healthy dinner, I can buy Michelle Obama approved meals at WholeFoods.

Panera as a general fact is decent food. Their selections are good, I love their TWOFER’s, where you can get a bowl of soup and half a sandwich/salad for a low price. I like making my own combinations. I just wish that you could actually look at a menu in hand vs the menu board. Sometimes I miss details of what’s on the sandwich vs what I get and I get confused. I don’t like a lot of toppings and hate that they might have to be re-made. Their pasta selections are good, but I’m finding that they’re starting to rely on their microwaves far too much. The other day, I ordered soup combo for both me and the husbeast and both our soups were microwaved. The tell tale beep went off for both of us. And sadly my soup was only just luke warm. *sad* And only half my panini was toasty. That never makes me happy.

I am not a fan of chains but their soup and bagels are amazing. I am a sucker and I would recommend this Panera to all. The service is great and the food was out quick. Keep up the great work you all do.
