Mr. NIck’s Brick Oven Pizza

This place was sooooo nasty and rude service my son had a b ball game he is on a traveling team so the coach took the kids to the pizza place he purchase 4 pies and drinks the parents also ordered within 15 mins mr nick kicks us out without even giving us the fourth pie and saying racist slurs this was discussing being my 3 year old daughter was there… i guess this is how terrytown treats company never again

We get large lunch orders from Mr Nicks and always get great pies and subs. The guy who always picks up says Nick treats him good and takes care of him and us so you cant beat that type pf service along with great tasting pizza.

Good wings but we ordered for delivery on super bowl Sunday and they were over an hour late. We called and he said that they gave our wings to someone else. We asked for a discount and they said that that was asking too much because they lost $ 17. The fact that they mixed up the order is not our problem. Not good customer service.

Nick is amazing. He is too kind. I’ve been coming here a lot because I live close by. One time I didn’t have enough cash on me and he said just pay him back next time with the biggest smile on his face. I came back and tipped him heavily. Kindness is what makes a great pizzeria. Chicken scarp is to die for!!!

Business trip quick dinner with colleagues. Had slice of the Grandma’s pizza and slice of sausage peppers and onions which the latter was very tasty with thin crust. Grandma’s since was ok. Both weren’t really ‘fresh’ but overall good.

We order from here all the time — the gluten free Pizza is really great! And they are always so friendly!

Just had mr nicks for the first time after everyone telling me about how good it is. Had two plain slices for a reasonable price and I could have eaten six more they were that good. Super friendly employees and amazing quality slices. Thanks mr nicks you just gained a regular. I like Capri also in tarrytown but the pizza got way too pricey and their success went to their head. Got treated like I was in line for lunch at a prison last week when I was there. True story. Mr nicks is the new spot for pizza in tarrytown and the surrounding area bottom line.

Pizza is not doey and crispy. Won’t be disappointed. IWings are good, but they put a lot of sauce on it.

Almost overwhelming choices and friendly service (from Mr. Nick himself) made a great night there — we got our money’s worth for sure in a nice setting, I can’t find any reason to give any less than five stars for it all. And I don’t know what was special about them, but those were the best mozzarella sticks I have ever had, ever.
It was so good I ate too much there, but his pizza reheats really, really well too.

Tonight was the last time we’ll be ordering from Mr. Nick’s. Friday nights are busy, so it’s understandable delivery will take longer than usual. An hour and a half is too long, especially when the food is stone cold when it arrives. For the prices they charge, the food should be hot and fresh, tonight it was neither. The bruschetta smelled so badly of old onions I threw it out. It also leaked all over everything else, so the stench of old onions was everywhere. The calzones, rolls and garlic bread we ordered were all stale, hard enough to hammer nails and cold. Even the pasta dishes were gross, over cooked, under sauced and just not good.
We’ve been ordering from them for several years and there’s been a steady decline in quality and service, they’re also the most expensive Italian place in the Rivertowns. Mr. Nick is usually very pleasant, but no one there is willing to even admit they made a mistake, much less do anything to fix it. They aren’t going to lose money because of their poor quality and get offended and sometimes nasty if you so much as suggest they should fix it. Having been a customer for years, I would expect better service.

Have had the Margherita pizza delivered three different times in the past few months. Always arrived hot and delicious. Also had one of their cannolis and it was great! The wait was around a half hour each time, even in super rainy weather (on one occasion). They kept my contact info for future orders, so I disagree and feel they do value return customers.

With so many choices for pizza delivery, I’d steer clear of Mr. Nick’s Brick Oven Pizza. They do not value return customers!
I have ordered several times from Mr. Nick’s and have recommended their food to friends and family. Unfortunately, I will never be ordering from them again after my most recent experience.
My husband and I placed a delivery order this evening for two calzones, an order of chicken wings and an order of mozzarella sticks. After 1 hour and 15 minutes we called to let them know we had not received our order. They said it was on its way and should arrive any minute. Okay, no big deal…
Twenty minutes later we still had not received our food. When my husband called again, they said the kitchen never got the order, as they ran out of register tape, and would start to prepare it now. When my husband asked about a 50% discount ($ 12.70) we were told they could not offer one. After much debate, we were told, rather rudely, that they would give us the mozzarella sticks for free. My husband asked to speak to the owner, who is always so friendly and helpful, and was told no.
I’m sure Mr. Nick would be appalled to here how his employees treat people when he is away!

Back and once again, excellent food! Chicken scarp rocked and pizza was 5 stars! The service was superb and this time my boys left nothing on the large pizza pan LOL

Amazing escarole and bean soup. Delicious grilled calamari over arugula salad. Pizza is great! Worth a stop for a reasonably priced, casual meal.

Great pizza and the staff is so friendly! Love love love their pizza — a must if you are in tarrytown!

Nick is so friendly and proud of his pizzas. He explained everything he had and was quick to take our order.
The sausage pepper and onion pizza is delicious. As is the BBQ chicken pizza. It was less than 10 mins for our stuff to be ready.
Worth a visit.

Had a large white pie, very good.
Service was excellent, quick (although not particularly busy) and cheerful.
Décor was tasteful, and appropriate.

I ordered a pizza and appetizer after placing the order nick said 30 mins at 1 hour I called spoke with someone else who said oh I’m sorry the delivery guy left 8 minutes ago, I’m sorry I don’t know what else to say!
15 minutes later no delivery guy. Called back same guy ugh sorry new delivery guy…
I canceled order. 7 min later delivery guy shows up. I told him I canceled the order as it was so late, he responded cool!
No so cool I wold never order from them ever again. I will now only go to Fleetwood pizza.
The lack of customer service and response was deafening…

Best service I have ever received in a casual pizza place (maybe because Mr. Nick served us himself)
My fiancé ordered the pizza and thought it was good.
I ordered a Cobb Salad — with hesitation since salads at pizza places are usually awful.
My salad was fantastic! The lettuce, egg, avocado and tomato were all very fresh. The bacon crispy. I ordered dressing and blue cheese on the side and they didn’t forget! And when I asked for lemon wedges for the salad, they gave it to me with a smile (instead of making a face at how I was ordering a salad at a pizza place).
Would definitely come back if I was in the area.
