Barking Lot

First experience for Charlie and he had a great time. Staff was great and were able to see us same day as long as we had paper work to show his shots were current. It took a couple of hours and they gave him the cutest scarf. We’ll definitely come back!

I LOVVVE the Barking Lot! You really don’t get better than this place. Risa (the owner) is so sweet with my dog. This is the only place I’ve ever brought my dog for grooming where he doesn’t shake and make himself sick. He is happy and excited every time I drop him off and pick him up. The grooming services are consistent, and excellent. They are very attentive as well. Once they let me know my dogs back leg seemed a little sensitive upon being bathed, and It ended up being a little hurt from jumping off my bed the day before. They look out for my dog, which I really appreciate. All of my friends have been bringing their dogs here for years, and now I understand why. I could not recommend this place enough!

I took my two dogs there once. They did an ok job. They are only a block from me. Every time I call them to take them since, they say they are busy. I went there today and a rude lady who seemed very pissed off said I dont have any opening till next week and didn’t even say good bye, sorry or kiss my a@@…rude!Rude! Rude!

Tina is the best when it comes to taking care of my pooch. She always try to get me in, even if its at the last minute. Tina is very flexible. Chloe is always pretty after her spa day

We have two dogs that can be difficult at times, especially with trimming their nails. We have been going to the Barking Lot for years now, and the groomers there always do an amazing job with our dogs and are so sweet and kind to them.
They are the best!

When my dog groomer retired, I took recommendations and went to at least 3 different groomers, none of which I liked, until I found The Barking Lot.
I have 3 dogs, one of which gets a haircut besides a regular bath. Rise is great with all of them and she definitely knows how to groom a dog. It is always a pleasure to take my dogs to her and Tina. They are great people!
I would consider myself a fairly critical person when it comes to services, and I highly recommend them!

Been taking my dog Cj for years, I must say it’s a great place. Workers care for all the dogs that come and go. Prices are awesome and affordable. There work is great as well. They are local spot across from Vons and near the Clandestine Rabbit Tattoo place and Mr. Scissors Barbershop. So if you have a dog that needs a cut try them out there great.

Couldn’t find more compassionate amazing and caring groomers then Tina And Riza!!! They truly love all their fury four legged clients

I’ve been taking my dogs to the Barking Lot since we moved to Tarzana over
30 yrs ago. I always have found Tina n Risha to be compassionate, loving, caring people to both dogs and humans! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking for a responsible and reliable dog groomer!

Been going to The Barking Lot for about 13 years, Risa and Tina are great

I have a new shelter dog. She was stinky. Took her to another place a couple months ago. Tried the Barking Lot this time. The staff was really nice, polite. They seemed to care for dogs. It was super busy (Saturday) but they managed to squeeze me in and have my dog in and out in a reasonable amount of time (2.5 hours). She got everything done. It was reasonably priced. They listened to my instructions about her cut. She did not seem traumatized (although she did seem happy to get out of there — but all the kennels might have freaked her out. She was in a shelter for a long time before we took her home…) All in all, a fine experience. I didn’t give five stars because I am always suspect when I see five stars. But if you’re looking for a new groomer, give them a try. They want proof of certain vaccines, too. I like that.

I’ve been taking my dog to The Barking Lot for years and they are always so gentle with my dog. They do a fantastic job, the prices are reasonable, and they’re very caring. I had taken my dog to other places before and she always came back with a lame haircut (she’s a Havanese). She always comes back looking great after a trip to The Barking Lot.

I love Tina and Risa. I’ve been bringing my long-​haired dachshunds there for a lot of years — at least 10. The dogs love them and the boys are so handsome and the girls so pretty when I pick them up. So glad I found them all those years ago.

I have been taking my dog, Casey, to The Barking Lot since I got him 5 years ago. The people at The Barking Lot always do a great job in grooming my dog. Usually, Risa works on Casey, but Tina has also worked on him. Both of these people are great. Risa usually has her Pit Bull there, and he is just the most mellow, well-​mannered dog you have ever seen. Casey is a somewhat nervous little man, but he is comfortable with these people. I recommend them highly.

I took my puppy, Teddy in there today because he was pretty matted. I was a little apprehensive because this was his first time being groomed, but Tina took such good care of him. He came back happy and clean!

if your looking for a place to get your dog washed in the valley, this place is a good one! Risa and Tina and sweet and they know what they are doing. They love dogs and you can speak with them direct about how you want your cut or wash.
You will be very pleased with the Barking Lot, good services, good prices and good people!

I will give 5 stars because of TINA, but the owner has no customer service what so ever. She is rude and impatient. She should get a job as a City Parking officer, that gives parking violation tix! So, just being honest, Tina is great.

I LOVE this place! I have been to so many other groomers that made me wonder what they did to my poor Bichon that he came home so upset but not with the Barking Lot. He is happy to see Tina every time we go in there he licks her faces and gets very excited. They do an amazing job and truly love dogs. They even give him a festive bandana every time he goes there. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!

I love the Barking Lot. My father and I took our dogs there for years and have always had a great experience. The only reason we stopped is that neither of us live in the valley anymore. In fact, I’m considering taking my dog back to them for grooming because they do such a great job (and are reasonably priced compared to groomers on the Westside).
