Daily Driven

I understand that others have had good results from Daily Driven; but that was not my experience. Danny is a personable and motivated owner. That’s the good news; but, In my case, he simply did not know enough to solve my issue. He thought he did. He charged me a fair amount of money for diagnosis and then labor and parts, which he claimed would do the trick but, in fact, did nothing whatsoever to solve the problem. In view of that obvious screw-​up, and in response to my unhappy calls, Danny told me that he «had not forgotten about me» and was actively researching what might be done. I guess he was not successful, because I never heard from him again. After waiting over a week, I took the car into another shop in the area — one employing staff with actual training on my car. The problem was finally fixed. It was a pricey lesson.

Danny’s been taking care of my 2 Toyotas for years. He’s been been very accommodating of my schedule. He often takes care of my car on the same day I call him. His prices are FAR better than any national chain mechanic like Firestone, and better than the Toyota dealer. As an example, I needed to replace the serpentine belt on my Corolla. The dealer quoted me $ 270, but Danny did it for $ 130. Why anyone would go to a national chain mechanic or to the dealer instead of Danny is beyond me.

I felt comfortable with his estimate and went ahead with the work .
He did the work and had my car ready the same day even delivered the car to my place in reseda
I am always afraid of the calls from auto repair shops. saying .“oh you really need a new set of tires and brakes or shocks. «we can do that for around 1800.00». It’s nice to find an honest repair shop that doesn’t make you feel like you just got bent over .
I will take all my vehicles there for now on with the comfort of knowing that I won’t get taken to the cleaners

Great shop. All the know how from service to repairs to fabricating engine builds … They have been in business for over 12 years and won’t steer you wrong. I like the fact that they do body work aswell. Awesome people for the right job.

This place should definitely have a higher rating.
I was recommended by Koko from Super Tunning in Van Nuys, and despite me being a somewhat «picky» customer with my vehicle, Danny managed to take care of my car needs at a very reasonable price.
To this day, i still continue taking my different vehicles, yet the service and attention continue to go up.
If you love and pamper your car, this is the definite place to take it.

Danny diagnosed my sons Mini Cooper AC problem. He didn’t jump to conclusions but saved me hundreds of dollars. Most mechanics would of guessed the problem and would of replaced unnecessary parts. Thanks to him my son will stay cool in the summer. Highly recommend.

Danny is a seriously stand-​up guy and mechanic. I’ve had horrible experiences getting my car fixed and he gave me hope that there are still honest mechanics in LA. Give him your business, you wont be sorry.

Danny delivered great service… been to his shop twice for two separate jobs…
1^st job was a tune up and an install of air intake
2^nd job was replacing a faulty radiator and flushing tranny this was labor intensive as the coolant had just leaked into tranny…
Overall very satisfied and will be going back as long as I live in the Valley!!!

Very disappointed with Danny. My muffler was bent from a light backing into a curb. I made 5 trips to his shop. Even with an appointment scheduled, things would «come up» or a «part needed to be ordered» after I arrived to the shop. I even left my car with Danny for 3 days. By the second week in attempting to repair the car he had me take my car to another mechanic who did not fix the muffler because one day he got busy and the second day he discovered a new part that needed to be ordered. Two weeks of trying to fix a bent muffler, i went elsewhere. My new Mechanic said the damage to my car was worse due to stripped screws and negligent bending of muffler parts. I also should not have been driving around in my car because it was leaking fumes and was somewhat dangerous to my health. I thought that I might have been on a hidden camera show because my experience was so ridiculous with Daily Driven Performance, but sadly I just wasted about 14 cumulative hours of my time and 50 bucks in gas.

I found a mechanic for as long as I own a car!
Go see Danny if you have any car issues. Highly recommended. He is one of the best and importantly, very honest. He goes the extra mile to fixing your car.

Danny knows turbos! He fixed my car, walked me through the potential issues I might encounter in the near future, and gave me some good advice. He does performance and the everyday repairs.
