I came to this place to get a smog check and as I was paying for it, I accidentally dropped $ 400 and didn’t have a clue I dropped it until I got a call about an hour later from Rafi. I was very happy that they were kind enough to call me to see if I had lost something. I would highly recommend using this place because of their honesty and integrity. I wish all mechanics were like him! Thank you!

Great place in the West Valley to get your SMOG check! Between the cozy waiting area — clean, cool and with refreshments, and Eric’s quick and courteous service. I mentioned his website and got a $ 15 discount! I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a SMOG check. It’s right on the corner of Victory and Lindley in Tarzana.

Went in this morning and didn’t even get to turn off my car. No one was there and he took my car right in. 10 minutes later he was done. The service was fast and friendly. I will definitely go back. Love these guys. (And check for coupons.)

Went there today to get my long overdue car smog certification done, got right in, there was one person ahead of me but he was almost done. They took all my information, told me what it would cost and offered me a free soda or water while I waited. Unfortunately my car failed due to a simple vacuum hose being cracked. This shop is not allowed to work on the vehicle which I knew when I took it there but the technician explained the issue and even showed me the hose that was bad. I went to the auto parts store, purchased a piece of hose, replaced it and went back, all of this took me maybe 15 minutes. When I got back they jumped right on the second test which I passed and there was no additional charge for the second test. Couldn’t have asked for anything more and the two technicians there were super friendly and helpful. I will be taking all of my vehicles here in the future.

I was looking on Unilocal and came across this place and decided to give it a try. I went In and received great customer service. While I waited there was a room with ac which was most needed in this valley weather. The process didn’t take long at all. Over all great.

Omg… how is it possible that I had a pleasant experience at a smog check? I was in and out within 10 – 15 minutes! Unheard of!!! Thanks guys…

Definitely come here! Eric is very warm, courteous, professional, and gives great customer service! My husband and I came here for our smog test and we were done in less than an hour. He had a comfortable waiting room filled with magazines, free drinks, and a TV. He gave us a Unilocal discount which was awesome! So don’t go anywhere else come here!!!

I’m still here waiting for my smog check to be finished, but I already know Eric is getting 5 stars!!! This place was a great find. I didn’t realize I needed to get a smog check done for my car this year and of course went to Unilocal to find a good place.
I walked in and there was already with another customer. However, it was a quick interaction and said that I would be next. He was really nice and made the whole experience really easy. I showed him the Unilocal deal and paid $ 48 total. The original price is quoted at around $ 65.
Eric was really funny and showed his relief I was paying by car because he hates working with cash, which worked out perfectly because I only had $ 3 on me.
It took less than 20 min total from when I walked in to when I walked out. The customer service was great! I definitely recommend it to my fellow Unilocalers in the Valley!

I usually do the company car smog and I have been to more than a few smog shops. Eric has the most friendliest and fastest smog time. I am always in and out in less than 25 mins and his prices are good. I refer all my family and friends to Erics smog shop, 5 star service. Thanks Eric!

It is refreshing dealing with honest, capable people. Everyone at Eric’s Smog Test are friendly and very helpful. I didn’t pass smog but I figured as much before taking it in so it didn’t come as any surprise. I was also informed it might fail before I paid for everything, which is good to know If you are on a tight budget. Retest is free for failures like my Chevy, cool.
Will be recommending everyone who needs a smog check to go to Eric’s.

A very hassle free place. Great and fast service. Seems like an overall nice guy. I went in for a smog check and it took less than ten minutes to get it done. He also checked my tire pressure for my spare because my tire pressure lights were on and the main tires were fine. Never knew there was a tire pressure sensor for the spare. Learned something new.
I usually dread going to a shop to fix my car almost as much as going to the dentist to fix my teeth. This place is not the case. If only every shop treated people like this guy does, everybody would have a great day.

My mom’s car needed a smog test earlier this year and unfortunately it didn’t pass the smog test the first time around. I of course, had tons of questions and really appreciated Eric’s willingness to give me all of the necessary info when I called him. He was very patient and kind. We made the necessary repairs and went back and it passed. Eric was very friendly, polite and personable. I really loved the service so we will definitely be going back in the future!

What an amazing experience!!! Walked in at 9:05 am and was serviced right away. Eric the owner was super personable and very polite. I told him I found him on Unilocal and he gave me a discount! What was really awesome is the complimentary drinks. I was in and out in about 30mins.

Willy helped me out today. He was really nice and inviting even on the phone. I even got a chance to talk to the owner who was willing to work with me. Willy was friendly right off the bat when we walked in and offered us refreshments. We waited on their nice comfy couch where we were welcomed by a smiling Frank Sinatra book (that’s an A+ in my book). I definitely recommend their quick and friendly service. As soon as I got here he jumped out of his seat and came to me as I got out of my car. I have a 1998 Toyota Corolla, so as soon as I asked him about the Unilocal Discount he said that for vehicles 2000 and up, testing for smog is different/​easier which is why a big discount can be offered. Regardless of me paying more he was friendly, professional, and honest. I’ve been to many places to get smog around Reseda and obviously he understands the concept of customer service.
The Unilocal reviews are true, he will get you in and out of here. He also knocked off ten bucks off my bill to compensate for not being able to give me a discount.
