The place itself is cool and they do have some good punk bands that play there. The bartenders and waitress’s are very nice BUT the owner is super unfriendly, rude and has no personality. She could probably get even cooler bands to play there but her attitude really gets in her way!

I went for my 21st birthday here and the drinks were so good, pretty roomy with a full circle bar as well as arcade games in the back. There’s pool tables and a dance floor as well as stage for live performers. I had a great time here and recommend anyone to give this place a shot

Came last night for new years eve. It was packed. Since there was only two of us, we had to sit at the bar which sucked. i found Jamie our great waitress from last time, she eventually got us a table on the dance floor, and my friend joined us around 11 pm. They only charged 20 bucks at the door which is awesome, especially for new years eve. I had several vanilla vodka with diet cokes 8.00 each, great price. Something about this pace makes me ant to drink a lot, and I m not big drinker. Jamie is the best waitress ever! Her energy and service is top notch! I wish they would remodel and get that smoky smell outta there, its so strong. The music was not great last night, to many oldies and not enough current hits, but the crowd is older. Good energy and fun times. I had not gone out for new years eve since 1995. Its nice I can walk around the corner and be home. They even served some snacks and champagne at midnight, most places were charging 100 buck for that. we had a nice time.

Right in my Neighborhood. I have lived in Tarzana for a while now and tonight i just randomly went to a bar to grab a bite with my co-worker, and i was pleasantly surprised. The Petie’s Place bar, is a really great place to hang out an just chill. A really relaxed and friendly environment great service. And really great drinks. Im not one who likes to hangout at a bar but this place is definitely going to be my new favorite place to hangout with friends, also try the Kamikaze Drink is delicious . I’m not usually a Bar fan, but would definitely return for another event night as this. We all had a good time, and with Mike the bartender it’s still a solid 5 Stars from here. :-)

Awesome local hole in the wall. Bartenders are cute and friendly. They always have special events going on. Prices are good and they always have a good variety in their drink selections.

Do you like dive bars? If so, you will love this place. If you don’t, don’t come here. Simple.

So, I came back the fifth time on 8÷1÷15. Had a great time. Super friendly older crowd and staff, great DJ Waterbury in the house enabling my fancy footwork! Met some old friends, met some new friends… love the laid back casual atmosphere. I’ll be back!

This place is clean and dark and quiet. If you head over right after work for a few beers, you will be pleased by the friendly bartender and the regulars. This is a good place to hide out for a while, or get to know someone a little better.

Went to Peties again — and this time it was a «Singles over 35» event that Peties put together with one of the online dating sites. It was actually very fun. The place was full. We got to hang out on the leather couches. The waitress there is ever so nice, and hardworking. She does such a good job bringing everyone their drinks. The special of the night was a $ 5 Raspberry mojito and it was pretty good. We liked the music, the DJ had a good selection of songs. But he kept adding these Space Age sound effects, and after a while they were pretty annoying. Once or twice with the sound effects ok, but don’t over do it. And there was trivia prizes which they advertised as «a real drum set» and«a real lawn chair» — and they turned out to be toys. My friend was really excited about trying to win a «real drum set», and he was really disappointed to find out they were just toys. The most important thing was that we had fun dancing. And that was the best part. Good music and fun people.

Their website claims that they serve breakfast on game day. Called them to book a table but turns out they don’t serve food. Take some time to update your website.

Peties is a great little dive bar on Reseda. They have a pool table which is pretty well kept. Friendly staff, great drinks, few other video games as well. The place is pretty big and can hold a lot of people. Gets crowded some nights with live music or DJ’s spinning, and there is definitely enough room for people to dance on the dance floor.

The place has very cheap drinks and can be a good place to watch the game, karaōke, play pool, or just talk. We went there every Tuesday as part of a kickball league and this was the best way to end the day. The mixed drinks are hit and miss, so my recommendation is to stick to the beer or cider.

I’ve been here a few times to watch Kings games. The die-hard fans are so great here! Bartenders are nice. Popcorn and hot dogs during some games — if you’re lucky.

My friend and I go to Petie’s at least twice a month. Saturday night, two weeks ago, we stopped in, later than usual, at 12:30 and were told we had to pay the cover charge … at 12:30 a.m. … only one and half hours before closing! We always buy at least two or three drinks, and regularly have drinks bought for us, so it’s not like we try to «cheap out.» Insulted, we left, as did a group of three waiting to get in behind us. Not a way to treat good patrons! Bob, where are you?
