Gretchen who recently left Epic salon in Encino has relocated to Studio G in Tarzana, her own little boutique salon removed from hubbub and drama. Not only does Gretchen make me look good she is a pleasure to be with. Always takes her time, runs on time and critically analyzes what can and cannot be done realistically with my hair. Thanks Gretchen.

I love Gretchen!!! She is a true artist!!! I am so lucky to have a stylist actually do exactly what I want (with subtle suggestions; which of course, make my idea a thousand times better!)…ahhhh, I just cant say enough good things. She does beautiful work and is VERY affordable! xoxoxo

Gretchen at Sudio G is a very talented hairdresser. As a guy, I am pretty much just getting a cut, shampoo and styling but Gretchen nails it every time. I am pretty picky about the people who cut my hair and once I find someone I like, I stick with them for many years. I will be going to Studio G for a long time! Gretchen really takes her time and does the haircut right. Her prices are very fair and she has a great easy to be around personality. And, she is extememly flexible on booking which is important to me. She uses The Square for fast and easy payment and she even sends text reminders for appointments.
She even cuts my son’s hair and does a great job!

Gretchen is by far one of the most talented hairdressers I’ve ever come across. She has a true love and passion for what she does. The energy she has created in her suite is so positive and beautiful! I’m truly grateful to have a hairdresser and friends in Gretchen. I know that my color, cut, and extensions will always come out the way I had envisioned.

From cut, to color, to blow dry, Gretchen’s work is masterful. And my hair is not easy, let me tell you. Not only is Studio G a great experience for your hair, there’s such a wonderful relaxed, fun vibe to both Gretchen and her salon. Visiting Studio G is the TOTAL experience. Highly recommend to all.

I love what Gretchen did to my hair today. I have never gone even remotely light in my color always brown/​black. But she has been using a red/​brown on me that I adore and get tones of complaints on. But today I wanted to kick it up a notch and do a rock stare look. I had her do some bleach blonde streaks in my hair and it turned out amazing. Gretchen is a amazing colorist and stylist and has a talent for finding what works for her clients.

Gretchen has been doing my hair for over 5 years and I couldn’t be happier! I have thick curly frizzy hair and she recommended the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment. Wow the results were astounding! My hair has never been so healthy and manageable in my entire life. It truly was life-​changing for me. I use to see Gretchen at Epic Salon but I am so happy she has now opened her own studio. I promise if you sit in her chair she will make you look and feel fabulous!

This is the first time in MY LIFE that I’ve left a salon loving my hair. I saw her for the first time right before we went back to school and I got tons of compliments on my color and cut. I’ve gone back to her a second time and was just as happy. I look forward to checking out Studio G very soon!
Gretchen did a great job making me feel comfortable but also knew the right questions to ask so that we were on the same page about color and cut. To boot, she did a great tutorial on how to blow out my hair to get more volume!
