6/​1-​I moved in
6/​15ish-​All my neighbors somehow had bed bugs, they needed me to move everything from against the walls to treat the apartment.
6/​25-​I had a package delivered, it was stolen off my doorstep, property management first says «When we see them we pick them up» then says «we don’t have your package». Never found it, extremely important paperwork for work.
7/​5-​Neighbors now have ridiculous bed bugs, which have now apparently made their way into MY apartment, and I have to vacate my apartment for the entire day so they can make my apartment 180 degrees, melt half of my personal belongings, to get rid of these bed bugs.
7/​15ish-​Unnoticed entrance into my apartment to fix a pipe that is broken, again in my neighbors apartment not mine. Management tells me «so sorry I forgot to tell you, you have to leave again»
8/​31-​Car has now been broken into, stole literally everything. no cameras, its my fault of course. trying to get a hold of management (colleen), nowhere to be found as usual
6÷1−8÷31 my water has been shut off for the entire day at least 6 times by this point. you get a letter late afternoon on your door as warning for the next day 9am-​6pm water shut off.
Property manager, Colleen, seems like a nice lady, but is never around. I see her lounging by the pool more than I see her behind her desk. Theres a maintenance guy and cleaning lady that wander around all day, but look at you stupid if you ask them ANYTHING. I have a key to the gym, but its not to the gym, I have a key to nothing and no key to the gym. The key probably belongs to someones apartment.
The only thing positive is that the neighbors are all pretty friendly. Unless it was one of them that broke into my car. No idea. I hate to write a bad review, but seriously folks. These are actually bad things happening here that warrant a terrible review.

Laramar, the management company that owns this place and several other properties in Southern California, has a call-​center that takes your call if and whenever a leasing manager is not available at the building you are calling to inquire with. I called over the weekend (a Saturday) to set up a showing at Terraces On The Boulevard. Let me just make it clear that the call-​center representative told me that yes, there was availability for a two-​bedroom apartment and yes, I was all set to come by on Monday morning at 8:30 AM to view it. On Sunday, for some reason or another, I called again to re-​confirm my appointment and got a good-​to-​go from another phone agent.
It’s now Monday morning, 9:30 AM. I didn’t view a unit an hour ago. Reason? I got there on time and went up to the front door only to have no one answer when I dialed the leasing office. At some point shortly thereafter, a man who I’m assuming is the maintenance supervisor was coming out and he let me in, letting me know that management doesn’t get in till 9. A lady cleaning the office was totally dumbfounded to see me (almost as if she’d never seen a person before 9 AM in her life).
I called Laramar to see what the hell was going on. A new call-​center agent let me know that appointments for this property do start at 8:30 and she promised to let her superior know about this so that I can get a call back (which at this point I’m not interested in).
9 AM: The manager comes to greet me at the front door. She says something along the lines of, «Are you waiting for me?» I told her what was going on and she said, «this isn’t the property management’s fault, it’s that of the call-​center we use,» placing the blame on someone else just because I didn’t set up or confirm my appointment with her specifically. Well, guess what? I wasn’t blaming you for anything. The least you could’ve done was give me a much less delayed apology because you are the face of the property for the management company that did indeed fuck up.
The worst part about this, for me, is that I’m out some money at work because I told my own manager that I would come in about 2 hours late today. So that’s awesome.
P. S. It also turns out that they have no 2-​bedroom availability.
What a waste of time.

i found this apartment building by accident and i am very happy that i found a good home for my family. very good building for a pet owner (i have 2 dogs). they have a 24 hour gym area and a nice heated pool that helped me save money on outside gyms. the manager of the building is a very nice lady and her name is Coleen Shepherd, she helped me a lot from the day one. so if you want a good apartment to live in just call colleen and start the unpacking in your new home.
