Awesome sundaes. We don’t have much on this side of 44 so I was pretty excited this place took off. They have a huge selection of favors and a bunch of creative Sundaes… the T-Hoye is my favorite

If you driving out to Dighton along 44 this place is on the side of the road. They serve Dells Lemonade which I didn’t bother trying. They also serve ice cream and 99 cent hot dogs, both of which I tried. The hot dog was good and the ice cream was generous, but I’ve had better twist cones. The people serving are up high and look gigantic from ground level, which is kind of funny. She was super nice though

This place sells the best ice cream on Earth: Giffords Ice Cream. No, I’m not exaggerating. This stuff is literally the , the shizz, perfection, heaven in a cup/on a cone. Aside from the amazing ice cream, they also sell Dell’s Lemonade and one dollar hot dogs. The location could be better. Tom and Jimmy’s is located on a very busy(and kind of scary) section of rt. 44 in Taunton, but the good news is there is plenty of convenient parking. There is a parking lot on the side street directly past the building and there is also an area for cars to park to the right of the building. There is plenty of outside seating. I’d say this is the best ice cream spot in the area. Enjoy!

Love Mr. Hoye. He was a past teacher of mine at Taunton High as well as the Mayor! I’m really glad he opened this place. They have a huge variety of soft serve ice cream here which is interesting. I also like the huge sundaes they make and the prices are pretty reasonable. The only complaint I have is the parking lot. It’s so hard to get in and out of there.

While I like this place, I’m not a huge fan of their new location. Sure, it’s just across the street from the old location, but with no in-door seating, it’s tough to want to go there on a cool raining sunday afternoon for some ice cream. We used to enjoy sitting down inside where we could chat with the owners, staff, etc. Now it just feels like a quick serv joint. And the parking is near impossible. Ice Cream is either Giffords(which is excellent) or Bliss(also good, but not as good as Giffords) depending on what flavors you order. The sundae’s are generously sized and delicious. Staff is very nice. Still, just wish for a better location.

Giffords of ME ice cream in Taunton. Outstanding Parking is the only problem. Workers have a tip-like jar for their college education fund, including Providence College, Go Friars!

The girls working there were extremely nice & helpful.(One girl even washed her hands when I told her I was a germiphobe & asked if they used gloves) I guess the Mayor of Taunton owns it? He even stopped by while we were there to clean a few things from the ground outside. He waved at the crowd that was standing outside waiting to be served. Ordering was easy, & they also accept credit cards! The wait kind of took a while to receive our order. But the helpings were huge! The prices are great as well. For 4 adults, &2 children: our order came to under $ 20. I have to complain about their soft serve though :/it is not real ice cream. It’s like ice mixed with a little bit of sugar. Barely any flavor in my opinion. Wouldn’t recommend it. Their waffle cones as well were just bland. The parking lot has not nearly enough spots. But there are several tables & chairs set up with napkin holders. Over all, I probably wouldn’t visit this place again.

Tom & Jimmy’s is a great little summertime ice cream spot and with soooo many flavors to choose from, it’s sure to please the pickyest palate. I love the soft serve, chocolate cake batter being a new fave. There are also many cones, toppings & sprinkles to choose from. The girls working the counters are friendly & accomodating; when we stood for a bit, trying to make up our minds, one of them told us that we were welcome to sample whatever flavors we wished. Very nice! Their new location isn’t far from the old one at all, and much more inviting too. There are benches out in front but the parking lot is kind-of small. Prices are awesome! I got two orders for $ 5& change.

Once you get to the window you notice that you have at least 25 different flavors to choose from and a few Del’s lemonade flavors, also in case you don’t want ice cream. I tried the Strawberry Cheesecake it was delicious! It also had some big chunks of cheesecake in it. Never have I seen such cheap prices for the quality and size of ice cream. I have only had the small size because it’s so filling that it’s pointless to get for me to get anything bigger and it’s only $ 2.50. Guaranteed if you go to Coldstone or anything similar you will pay double the price for the same size. I’ve driven by this place over a thousand times and I wish I stopped here before. During the summer I will at least be here once a week! Only issue I have with this place is the small parking area and how quickly it fills up, but that just shows how good the ice cream is!

Tom and Jimmy’s is an ice cream lover’s heaven. Regular, soft serve, fro-yo… they have 20-something flavors of each. An entire board of sundae options. And five different flavors of Del’s Lemonade. Wicked reasonable prices, huge«scoops» and friendly staff.
