Heck, they even allowed for my Good Friend Kevin Wesner to bring in his Acoustic Guitar so he and I could sing a few Loving Songs Skyward to comfort Mom in her transition. Just preplanned my demise in a comfortable manner. There was no pressure to get anything more than what I wanted, although I was shown a wide array of options. I can not say enough nice things about the staff of Steverson Hamlin Hilbish Funeral Homes. After losing my mother recently to chemotherapy overdose, although the doctor won’t admit it nor even cares the process of planning the funeral was easy and stress free. Matt Pierson is a godsend and provided a wonderful service at the Church in Astatula. I would not hesitate in an instant to recommend this funeral home. Matt and John were compassionate and understanding in our time of need. The services weren’t as expensive as I thought they would be.
For those of you on the fence about pre planning get off the fence!!! Go in and visit them and make arrangements. It will take an incredible burden off the family in doing what you wish for your final arrangements. I always thought it was taboo and something a bit odd since I used to sell pre arranged funeral planning.
