Tiki West Raw Bar and Grill

This is the bast food ever. We were there on vacation and ate here two days in a row. We had 6 people in our group and no complaints.

Fun atmosphere and the food was very good. They accommodated our large group of 14 without issues. Service was excellent. We had clam strips, coconut shrimp, mahi mahi, nachos, burritos — all good.

Great peel n eat shrimp fresh great taste. The fried mahi however is not fresh really wish they would start getting that fresh. Me and a friend couldn’t eat it! Everything else is great though!

Perfect location, great place to eat some oyster and hang out with the crew! Had the clam strips, wow they were amazing and cooked perfectly! Also ate oyters and Ahi Tuna as our appetizers, oyters were very good quality, nothing really good to say for the tuna beside great appearance… Had the Shrimp and Grits, it was very delicious, some what over kill on the how much extra came in it. Great service, fast and friendly…

Love the Beach décor. They buy from locals vendors and the menu has a lot of nice entrees to choose from. I had ceviche with home made chips. Awesome. The lakefront view was enjoyable.

Food was pretty good and they make a great margarita. Service was pleasant but very slow.

I had to give it a five because it deserved more than a four. Really enjoyed it here. Good food nice location. Very pleasant and attentive service. They have their own blend of ground meat for their burgers. Good menu choices to satisfy everyone. Sure someone would find fault but that is going to depend on your mood and just how complicated you are.

A friend recommended this place and it was great Had raw oysters and they were pretty big. Place was clean friendly staff plenty of TVs would be a great place to watch a game

My husband and I stopped for lunch cause I was intrigued by the French onion soup. It was good. It would have been great except for the 3″ piece of really stale french bread in the middle of it. My husband had the steak burrito with the fries on the side. The fries were great. The burrito was kind of tasteless and we suggested maybe some salsa would help. The waitress said the kitchen must have forgotten the chimmichuri and the ranch dressing that should have been on it. They had. Made the whole experience kind of underwhelming.

Excellent quality seafood, especially the oysters and shrimp. After 10 or more visits, the quality is consistently high. Plenty of talent in the kitchen too. Everything is fresh and it’s impressive that the kitchen accommodates special orders, and often visits the table to check on how the food was. Wait staff is attentive, and Tiki West is a tight ship. Drinks are reasonably priced, and the bar staff is friendly.
Décor looks like it’s a work in progress, but this is an oyster pub and restaurant, so a little eclectic works. If you comes to Tavares and don’t stop here to eat, you’re really missing a treat!

This place is super awesome, good people, great drinks and food is off the chain! When you drop by do yourself a favor and get the crab cakes they’re to die for!

Clam strips and a hamburger were both delicious. Clam strips were fresh and not from the freezer. The burger was surprisingly delicious, I’ll be back.

Our food was great and our waitress was very attentive. It is nice place to hang out and have a few drinks. My only complaint would be that the prices are a bit high in my opinion.

Raw oysters were delish and the beer cold! Enjoyed the charbroiled oysters but would skip the fried oysters next time as they were a little small. Waitress was very friendly.

We were there for a birthday celebration, but the restaurant never acknowledged it even after we told them several times.
The fried clams were delicious, could’ve eaten those all day. The mahi mahi tacos were a little skimpy of mahi and the shell was over-​cooked and crispy. The fries were hot and very good, but the best were the buffalo wings. The terryaki flavored ones, I was told, were good, too.
We enjoyed the crab cakes for our appetizer and their signature sauce that comes with everything is very tasty. I’ve had better Margaritas, but this one was not bad. Service was attentive and helpful.

The food was excellent, we had crab legs, peel and eat shrimp & oysters steamed medium. The service was excellent & the view and venue were fabulous!

Cute little restaurant/​bar located a short walk from Wooton Park in Tavares. The restaurant itself is at the base of condos. There is a small patio where you can watch the sea planes take off and land. I called in an order and walked from the park to pick it up one Saturday in July. The food was ready on time and the lady who helped me was friendly. I snapped some photos while I waited and would like to go back sometime and dine in… next time!
We got the Florida salad which was spinach and strawberries and blueberries with blue cheese. It was ample and fresh. I got the mahi tacos on soft tortillas. They came with sauce and slaw and were light and refreshing. As a side I chose the wilted kale, thinking I should try and eat healthy. And what’s healthier than kale?!? It was a little too spicy for me and had stewed tomatoes mixed in– it was not my thing. The fries my hubby got were good though. Hubby was a little disappointed because he had wanted their signature pork burger. When I ordered on the phone and said «pork burger» the employee repeated back, «oh, our pork sandwich» like they were the same thing. Hence he got the wrong sandwich. He complained that there was a lot of bun and not much meat with his dish. The sweet potato fries are the waffle variety and were also decent.
Overall a good experience, taking in to account that it was a to-​go meal. We often visit the lake and Wooton Park so next time I think I’d dine in. They have buckets of craft beer for $ 20, I noticed. Might make for a fun end to a day on the lake!

This is a great find! My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday Night. It is a big place and there is plenty of seating. We chose to sit outside and enjoy the wonderful view of the lake as the sun was going down.
Our server was very attentive greeting us right away and getting our drink and food order in. We had the crab cake and ahi tuna appetizers. Both were very good; the crab cake was my favorite though. We both ordered oysters mine were lightly steamed and my boyfriend had his raw. They were delicious; some of the best we have had in the area. We would recommend this to our friends and we will be back!

I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere where EVERYTHING was just perfect?! We had garlic Parmesan mild wings, French onion soup, crab cakes & fried mahi dinner. Omg!!! Best dinner we’ve EVER had!!! Highly highly recommend and they had a pretty decent verity with average prices. Plus 2 for 1’s all day everyday
