It wasn’t as good this time. My son threw his on the floor. I thought maybe he just isn’t a fan of beef but my mom(who was sharing the beef and cheese enchilada) said it was bad. The fajitas tasted salty but were good. I like the chips and salsa. The good news is it was fast.

Decent Mexican food for the area. I had the fajitas and they were great. However, they should have given more than three corn tortillas at a time and sour cream, cheese, guacamole were virtually a half teaspoon! Come on people! Don’t need to be so stingy! My wife ordered the rellenos and the menu said that it comes with guacamole and when we asked him to bring some after receiving our meal, he said it was extra and charged us for it. I’d go back here again if I were desperate for Mexican food. Prepare to argue to get what was advertised on the menu.

The Alpena branch has closed. There is now another Mexican restaurant in its place, called Loco Taco.

Was very disappointed. It was a friday night, and was very slow. The restaurant looked dirty. Service was ok. Food had no flavor, and recieved quickly, too quick. Made me think how fresh it was if I had gotten it so quickly. Food had no flavor, not what I was expecting when I was craving good mexican food. Will not return when im in the area. I dont know how it is still in business. Prices were decent.

I’m sorry to report that the restaurant that @mlive reported to have Michigans best taco is lousy, not good, we will never return. Chili Relenno made from out of date frozen product. The batter was freezer burnt, the sauce? Marinara perhaps. Tacos? Really hard shell Taco Bell type things. Chips from a bag, Salsa made from blended canned tomatoes with peppers. Our server was gracious to not charge us as we had three bites. Horrible meal.

When I lived here this was my favorite resteraunt, now every time I return to Tawas I come back. My favorite thing here is the Pechuga Empaniazada, chicken breast with Mexican rice and beans(I substitute with fries) there chicken soup is the BOMB. My favorite thing to get when I’m sick.

Just had a return trip to Tawas City and Los Cuatros is always on my must stop there list. I had a meal named«Pollo Loco.» Two chicken breasts covered with a cheese sauce and also served with rice and beans. My dining partner had the fajitas that were a mix of chicken, beef and shrimp. Everything was delicious. They also had margaritas on sale the night I was there. $ 4.99 for a large frozen margarita… fabulous.

Is it Mexicantown in Detroit? No. Is it super wonderful? No. Is it worth going to if you are in Tawas and craving a Margarita and salsa? Absolutely. We had a $ 5 margarita that was really good. My chimichanga was completely acceptable. Nice prices, clean, friendly staff. Service was very quick. I would return.

This has become one of the better places to eat in the Tawas area. They have beer and wine, and it is pretty good Mexican.

My favorite is the fajita burrito. The staff is courteous and always there to fill my drinks and chips
