We went for breakfast here one morning because of the reviews I read about the biscuits and gravy being really good. Got there around 9:30, and they said they were out of gravy, so I didn’t get to try it. Had the #1, bacon, eggs, toast, pancakes, It was your standard breakfast. Someone came in for carry out while we were there, and they charge you $.50 per container when carrying out, I’ve never heard of any restaurant doing this, carry out containers are typically just a cost of doing business.

Today we went to Eva and Dianne’s café(next to the Wow/marathon gas station on ecorse) for some breakfast. It was our first time there, figured we would try something new… and I can say without a doubt that I will not be going back. 1. The waitress didn’t take our order for ten minutes(I guess setting the empty tables were more important than the only customers there). 2. She then left the building because she had to pay her metro bill because they shut off her phone. She was the only waitress there. 3. The food took 20 minutes to cook and when it arrived, the eggs and bacon were cold and the biscuits and gravy took another 5 minutes(something that is pre-made each day and is not cooked to order). 4. They made the wrong eggs for my boyfriend(he ordered scrambled and received Over-meduim). 5. The waitress picked up his plate and scrapped the wrong eggs off and went to get the right ones(I thought that move was just tacky) and when he got his scrambled eggs, they were over cooked and tasted like rubber. 6. He made the complaint about the bacon being cold and she didn’t return to TAKEHISCOLDBACON off his plate until all the other food was eaten to get the cook to make more. 7. There were no apologies or adjustments to our bill(even though we made our dissatisfaction known and my roommate requested a bill-adjustments). Moral of the story for me– stick to the places I know and love.
