Karl’s Pizza

We have ordered from Karl’s for at least 5 years now, sometimes more than twice a week depending on our family’s activities. I recently called to place an order of their new Chicken Parmesan. I asked the order taker what came with it (does it come with spaghetti?). I was told it comes with nothing! So, I ordered spaghetti. I was charged for two full dinners. When I called and asked to speak to a manager, the owner’s wife came on the line. She was rude and told me their order takers weren’t responsible for knowing the menu and any IDIOT should know it automatically comes with spaghetti. I have since started getting my pizza and dinners elsewhere!

Love Karl’s. Lot of these reviews are ridiculous and rude. The place has been owned and ran by the same guy for over 20 years. He’s super nice, willing to work with you and provides great quality food. I know he orders the best quality ingredients as my husband works for his supplier (and no, that’s not why I’m giving this review). Overall, their food is great and fresh. Everything is made to order and they work hard to make everything top notch. The Super Styx are the best cheese bread I’ve ever had! Try them with bacon!!!

I ordered pizza for my guests. The crust was over cooked and crunchy. The cheese was brown (burnt in my world), There was very little sauce. I was disappointed and will not order from them again. I threw away half the order, needless to say no one went back for seconds, or even finished what they put on their plate.

Okaayyy! INCREDIBLE! Rarely, do I find myself lowering myself to somebody else’s low personal level, but I admit I just did! Speaking w/​a manager (seriously??!) re: the ungodly, bad fish I was served yesterday, I am in awe this female holds any position working with the public, let alone a manager??! Rude, total lack of professional skills @ any level & really, just ignorant on all levels. Intention was to Unilocal about the disgusting fish, a $ 6.0O dinner?!!, was’nt looking for a refund nor a replacement dinner, just a you should really know about this for other customers. Nope! Did’nt even gimme a chance! Some of her remarks: I don’t even eat fish! (huh??!), You should’ve called last nite! (Well, the all nite stomach pains started about 1ish in the morning!), No talking with an owner! Not giving out personal info! (another, huh… Did’nt ask, nor eXpect personal info, maybe a simple reply of, may I take your info & have someone contact you? Any reputable business owner would appreciate that??) Not eVen worth mentioning another word about such a classless individual who doesn’t have a clue!
Thought I may be a new found, old loyal customer from years ago. Nooooo way! All over a nasty $ 6.00 fish dinner, which! once again!, didn’t want a thing in return, no refund! no replacement! Manager was as nasty, if not nastier than the fish! ToO many other great places! KARL’S eXcluded! A bad meal? Could maybe be forgived, bad manager with a pit bull mentality? Not forgivable!

Typically Karls isn’t bad by any means.
But, tonight I ordered hot boneless wings. They got to me I opened them up and the ‘hot sauce’ was dried up already. Being an ex employee at bdubs, I know how boneless are SUPPOSE to look with sauce on them. And i know how they looks when somebody doesn’t throw enough sauce on them and throws them in a box.
I was quite dissapointed, and didn’t even eat the wings. They were small, dry in and out and overall disgusting.
Which is confusing to me knowing how simple a task it is to deep fry wings and toss them in a sauce.
And I have literally made a Unilocal account just to post about how livid I am.

One of the better «non-​franchised» pizza places in the area. Their super styx are always very salty, but their cheese is absolutely delicious so it’s forgivable. Their sauce is tangy as are the pepperoni, the bacon tastes fresh, but their mushrooms seem canned. I haven’t tried any of their chicken, ribs, etc. yet, but I would imagine they will be of similar quality. The cashiers and cooks are always friendly when ordering and picking up, which is better than most pizza places we’ve been to.

Ordered some pizza and ribs from here after looking to try new pizza and didn’t have a pleasant experience. First we place an order over the phone and whoever took the call was rude. Seemed like they wanted to rush you and no greeting or goodbye just hang up. Upon arrival the parking lot was full and raining out so I had to park a ways (not an issue) the issue was when I went to pay for our order it came to 46.01. All I had was a $ 50 so I asked if I needed to go to my car and grab a penny so she wouldn’t give me back 99cents. The girl behind the counter says yes you do. I mean really, for 1 penny go back outside, in the rain. I go out, come back in with the penny and she’s rolling her eyes when I hand it to her. She says my food isn’t ready yet its been over the time limit of 25 minutes that they quoted me. No big deal I understand it’s an estimate, however after standing waiting for about 5−6minutes I see her grab an order that had been sitting on the shelf when I arrived and she hands it to me. It was ready the whole time, needless to say I got home (5minutes away) and the food was cold. Not only cold but the ribs were straight bones. Barely any meat on them at all and for the price, what the crap! I wasn’t expecting Famous Dave ribs at a pizza joint but expected them to be decent. Pizza was doughy and not great tasting. Not a place we’ll ever go back to! If you want pizza or ribs go elsewhere!

AWESOME broaster chicken! I ordered it TWO days in a row! My husband said their Turkey Sub was one of the best he’s ever had.

I will never go back to this piece of crap place. They charged me $ 16 for two pizzas then after I swiped my card they gave me a menu that had the same 2 pizzas for $ 12 then when I asked about it the lady started getting loud with me saying it’s not there job to show me the menus. So why give me a menu that was hiding after I pay a higher price for the same thing. That’s not the way to do business by trying to rip people off!

Ate here tonight delicious as always. I love the Chicago style pizza with ham and mushroon.

The owner is a pervert. He dates young employees and this is not a place of business that should be in the community.

Great Pizza… The Blue cheese bread is amazing and the delivery is always fast and on time!!!
