Semian Funeral Home

Bizarre to rate a funeral home, but i feel the need. I, unfortunately, only see Tammy and John in the most horrid times of my life. I met them when I was 12, my Grandfather’s passing… But until this week, aged 33 at my Gram’s passing, i had not actually worked with them. 1. They are absolutely darling people 2. They are sympathetic, allow for nostalgia, but appropriately move the process forward 3. They are FULL service, no detail is unnoticed 4. They openly communicate. We knew all charges up front, Tammy was informed of the medicare reimbursement in PA (i live in NJ now, it’s very different), she emailed/​called/​called again to get in touch with us as needed, understood the sensitivity of payment with my grandfather vs us (he’d kill us if he knew we helped)… I just can’t say enough. Plus, Tammy made me laugh, and i seriously needed to. I just adore them and our family SO appreciates all the beautiful services Tammy and John have provided over the last 20+ years.

I unfortunately had to bury my father this morning and my family and I couldn’t be more happy with their service. Tammy and John were phenomenal with assisting us through the whole organizational process. They showed endless compassion in our time of grief. From the planning, viewing, and funeral service, they were very clear and explained everything thoroughly. Having a large extended family, we’ve used them numerous times before and if we ever have this misfortune again, they will no doubt be our number one choice.

I have to tell you the great people at Semians are like Heros after the death of my mom they treated her and us great friendly caring loving and truly to the heart people and I can never find the way to thank them truly from the heart
