Love this place! Prices are great and the amount of food they give you is definitely above what you pay for. I can’t say there has ever been a time I haven’t left without a carry out box because I couldn’t finish my food. They have specials daily. Everything is made from scratch and you can tell. Highly recommend.

Yes it’s a little dated. But the food is great. Everything is home made from scratch. Make sure you try the turkey on Saturdays and Mondays. Also the Salisbury steak which is great here. Great pancakes too!
Ranch is made from scratch. Great rice putting. Everything is very reasonably priced and the owner is always there making the food.
I found this place when I saw the owner walking in at 6 AM with fresh turkey and been hooked every since.
Anytime I’m back in town I try to stop by for lunch.
One thing to note is the map shows this place across the street. It’s actually in the same strip mall as Aaron’s and Radio Shack.

When we want a really really cheap place to eat for b’fast and are in a hurry, we go here.
For the type of business it is, it is OK. It is about the cheapest place around, bring cash. The service has always been good. Hash browns and omlettes are good.
Three areas of improvement — I never order coffee there because this is one of the last places around that stores their coffee cups out on the tables, upside down — rim of mug on table. I am sorry but I don’t like putting my lips on a mug that has been sitting on a table that may or may not be clean or just wiped down with a dish rag. Call me Howard Hughes but I know I am not the only one around that does not like a coffee mug that has been sitting with the rim on the table. If they would leave the mugs off the table and bring them if when requested, I would order coffee from them every time.
Also, a better ventilation system in the place would be a plus so that people do not feel the grease in the air when we come in — since the grill is out in the seating area and the cooking smells and oils permeate through the air. Also the carpeting, which is looking very old and hard to keep clean — I would suggest replacing it with some cheap tile — HD has it on sale regularly for 50 cents a square foot. Much easier to keep it clean.
Overall I would not mind paying a little more if they did some of this improvement.
For the type of place that it is, you can get a good b’fast here and cheap and quick, and it is a nice little neighborhood place and the wait staff has always been friendly to us and attentive and we will be back thanks for the good food.

Little restaurant with big taste. I had a bacon cheeseburger and it was awesome. Great burger and the bacon was thick and delicious. Easy 5 star.

You couldn’t pay me to eat here again. The food is not fresh and the service is really bad. You would think the owner would take pride in their business but that’s not the case here. I really question how this place has stayed in business as long as they have. I felt dirty after being here. If this was my final meal option I would die hungry.

Ate here while on business. Excellent food, great prices and service. Has a nice hometown charm to it. The super sub was fantastic! The menu has a little bit of everything. Cash only was my only complaint.

Taylor Kitchen is a small place in a strip mall that has been there forever. It is great homey food at really good prices. Huge omelets and great country ham.
I’ve only been there for lunch once, but the steak sandwich was tender enough I could eat it without silverware and my wife loved the beef tips and noodles.
It’s not a fancy place and is cash only; but if you want good, filling food, without spending a lot of money, it is definitely the place to check out.
