We attended the wine class through groupon and learned a ton! It was very fun and informative and didn’t make me feel«dumb» We tried about 10 different wines during the class(make sure you eat before you come!) I will say the staff in the bottle store was not as welcoming as the rest of the staff. She seemed a little put out when she had to go to the basement to get another bottle. Could have easily been a miscommunication as the rest of the staff was so helpful. Be sure to try the ice wine. SOGOOD! We will definitely be back!

Their wine is great and their facility is small but nice. Great owners too! Whenever I’m in the Taylors Falls area I swing by here to pick up a couple of bottles. Sweet Mountain White is very good!

Oh my god. The wine here is phenomenal, don’t get me wrong. But the hands down reason I would come back is because of their bourbon cider. Oh yeah, you read that right: bourbon cider is a thing, and what a beautiful thing. The staff here are so incredibly knowledgeable, and ridiculously kind. I went on a Saturday, so they were kind of busy, but they still had time to chat with me about the wines and ciders. If you’re looking to kill an hour with some kick ass views, DEFINITELY check out Wild Mountain Winery.

A very beautiful and small winery near Taylor Falls, MN. I did a wine tasting with my wife and we were surprised with the quality of the wines produced here. Even their driest of red wines was still wet and tasty to our palates. They had some of the best local white wine I have ever had in Minnesota. Very good price for all of their selections too. Don’t be fooled by the size of the establishment, they take great care and pride in their wines.

I took my parents to wild mountain for a day trip. It was a nice outing, the staff was very helpful and the wine was as one would expect for the difficult climate in Minnesota. We had gone to the landscape arboretum the day before, so seeing the grape varieties that were created at the UMN landscape arboretum grow and tasting the wine made the experience more interesting. Overall, we enjoyed the daytrip and would recommend it to friends.

We really enjoyed this family run winery. We did the couples tasting and thought it was a great deal. We also were as to sample two delicious hard ciders. The smoked cheese they served with crackers during the tasting was wonderful. They were helpful, answered all of our questions and the young man hosting our tasting was very friendly. We visited in the winter, but would like to return when it is warmer so we can explore vineyards. We bought a sweet white, hard cider and some cheese to take to our stay at a local bed and breakfast and all were great.

I was very hesitant to go up to this Winery. I, in fact, told my niece, lets not go up there… The only reason I am giving four stars is because the people working here were so so nice! The lady and young gentleman at the bar, the woman who walked around the«garage like» venue, all were down to earth friendly! The price was fair. I think a tasting for two was $ 15 and included like 8 tastings, cheese and crackers, and a final taste of port with a chocolate. I am not sure it included the glass or not but we were going to take our glass but forgot. :(… Of all the Winery’s we visited that day, this was the most rural country looking one. It looked like a converted garage. Inside decorating was a little tacky. Saws on the walls, decorations on the tables were wine bottles with lights in them(which I really liked) but then on the top of each bottle, it looked like some homemade toppers… Seemed like no one was picking up empty glasses or plates so it was a little dirty. I did not like any of the wines here at all especially the port. I don’t like port anyways but this one we both almost spit out. I most definitely will not come to this Winery again but its definitely worth a try. The staff was very inviting and you might like the wine!
