A short review. Crazy Buffet is closed. Out of business. For Sale sign on property. I’ve eaten there 2 times. Why did I go back the 2nd time? Just to make sure that I could not be at a place with such bad food.

Looks like this place got shut down, there’s even a police notice on the door. The place did have some problems. Seems like their chocolate pudding was always sour and too old, probably one of the reasons they got shut down, for health issues

Do not go to Crazy Buffet if you value your health and wallet. Worst chinese buffet at any price – and this place was moderately high. I felt extra ripped off by paying the Saturday seafood price and the seafood was«fishy», overcooked and badly prepared. Often a good sign the Chinese food is good is fellow diners that are Asian – which this joint had none(I doubt the Asian staff eat there even with a free lunch benefit.) *Food was awful by any standard(My Chinese buffet standards are not high) *Restroom was filthy and smelled like an outhouse. *Styrofoam cups replaced customary bowls and saucers. *Overcooked Alaskan King Crab legs but no pick or nutcrackers to get the meat out of the shell. *Hot, dark and uncomfortable environment. *My son and I have been sick since. You’ve been warned! The owners are laughing that they don’t pay for decent food inputs, adequate air conditioning or cleaning restrooms and still make off like bandits! I should have called the police to make a fraud claim. I think I had a good case. Those who claim 5 stars are from California, which makes me think they have to be paid insiders for this place. This place wouldn’t last one day in backwater places of Cali, let alone the Bay Area. One reviewer claimed Crazy Buffet was a good as anything in San Francisco is either a liar, a plant or has no taste buds.

I’ve been to a lot of Chinese places in Utah, the East coast, and Europe. I mean A LOT. I love it, just cant’ get enough. I even did a food critic show on the radio for a few years, so I know my food, especially Chinese. This has to be the WORST place I’ve ever been. It’s one of those you have to pay first, which I’m assuming is because they wouldn’t make any money otherwise. I was told this was a hit and miss place, but from what I received, it goes far beyond that. The service didn’t exist. I got a water and never saw the waitress again. The food looked ok, with the steam coming out from the water below. I got the General Tsos’ Chicken, chicken and broccoli, and rice noodles. It was all old and over cooked. The broccoli was yellow from over steaming it, which turns it that color when the nutrients fall out. All the food, despite being above steaming water and under heating lamps, was COLD! I couldn’t even eat a second plate. The selection was poor too. Mainly American food, with little of the Chinese-American stuff like General Tso’s chicken we all love. The place was empty on a Thursday at 2pm and most of the lights were off… a bad sign. I got up a left, having already paid, knowing I’d never return to this place of where I may have picked up worms or food poisoning.

Worse buffet ever! It use to be ok. This last couple of times I’ve gone there’s no food options. It’s more like cold Costco appetizers. It’s not cheap eait her. Not worth spending you’re money here.

Quite literally the worst place I have EVER been. Signs said open, but there was absolutely no food out and ready, which I would almost prefer considering how cold and nasty it was when it arrived. I don’t like to be unkind and I feel that if the food was the only issue, I might just never go there again instead of writing this scathing review, but service was awful and the bathroom was scary gross. Also, there was no toilet paper in there, which seems impossible considering how quickly the horrible food will run through you. I’m a pretty big guy and will eat just about anything, but I won’t be caught dead in this place ever again.

Yuck! Tasteless food in a tasteless atmosphere. What seemed to be the owner, rang me up while shouting Chinese in the phone, real classy. NO Soup bowls, you ladle your soup in a styrofoam cup, really? Lunch was over $ 9 for crap, wish i went to Little Ceasers next door.

In town visiting friends and they took us out to this great buffet. Fantastic tasting food lots of options. Plenty of Chinese and other options. Crab legs were my favorite. One of the best buffets I have been to in a long time. Restaurant was clean and the people working were very nice.

I’m not too picky with food. I will try and like most anything. So imagine my disappointment when I was surrounded in a buffet of food that I could not eat. First off, everything was cold. My steak was extremely tough and the ribs were not soft at all. We were very excited about the crab legs, which were hardly ever there. Even when we did manage to scavenge them, they were very small. Later on, we noticed one of the waiters carrying out a big tray of them. We stood up, ready to get some, but instead of bringing them out to the warming trays, he brought them right up to the table of another family. The selection was slim and I was not impressed at all.

It’s an ok all you can eat Asian food buffet but I don’t like it cuz some of the food tasted bland & cold. And i dont like going there cuz theres too many polys esp on Sundays after church. Reason why I was there, because I was with my hubby’s family & that’s where we went to eat. I’d rather pay a little bit more for better food quality than dine here.

My high school students told me that this was a great buffet. This is the last time I trust high school students and food. Most of the food on the buffet was cold. The egg rolls tasted as if they had spoiled. The crab legs were really small and did not taste quite right. I don’t even want to think about the sushi. The Mongolian BBQ was the best part of the whole meal other than the fact that it was super spicy. I don’t like spicy, so I didn’t add anything spicy to my plate. However, when I started eating, I realized that they had added spicy sauce to it. The restrooms were really disgusting. The restaurant was really crowded and loud. Yep, we will not be returning!

I was on vacation when family members took me here since the place was close by. At first, the food wasn’t all bad. Some were edible. Then soon after finishing my meal, I had to rush to the restroom because the food gave me a stomachache. The restroom was disgusting with no lights. Soon after, my other family members were rushing to the restrooms too. I will definitely never be visiting this place again.

Wow. We got a coupon in the mail for this place so we thought we’d try it. Did I say wow? And I don’t mean a good wow. The place was so crowded that they were about a hundred people over the Fire Marshall’s limit. The food was … um … not good at all. Picture the worst buffet you’ve eaten at. This was worse. In addition, there were so many people wearing gang colors that I found myself scouting the quickest route out of the place. It looks all inviting when you enter because it used to be a Chuck-A-Rama. Don’t let that fool you, the place is downright scary. Never again …

I love food… but not this food. Poor quality, cheap and not fresh at all. I won’t come back.

First off I generally dislike buffets but this has got to be the worse one I’ve ever been to in my life the food was not labeled so i had to guess what I was eating. The food was either bland or disgusting. I could not even finish my one plate of unknown Chinese food. Then I used the bathroom and I swear that most truck stops had nicer bathrooms. After I left I went to McDonald’s so I could have a meal that I would enjoy

I will admit that I have eaten here but I admit it only to give fair warning to the masses… I was literaly forced to eat here by family influences beyond my control… in this situation I attempted to make the most of it… they allowed people to pay and enter knowing full well there was no where to sit… after realizing my perdicament I wandered the restaurant with a plate of sketchy food items feeling a rush of high school lunch room anxiety rush over me… after standing in a corner and attempting to eat I finally was offered a seat in a booth by a family member who had found a dirty table another person had just vacated… after sitting down the dirty dishes from the previous table were never cleared… that is until I recognized the bus cart and took them there myself… the food may have been fresh but was not good… quantity rarely out weighs quality in my book… overall a horrible experience

This is a pretty good all you can eat Asian buffet. It has the standard Asian buffet menu. They serve Chinese food, Japanese food, deserts, drinks, American food, salad bar, and fruit bar. The place is usually packed. The waitstaff was efficient in putting new food out, which was very often. Usually, buffets with a lot of customers have good food, since the food on the steam table will probably be fresh. I paid around 12 something dollars, and I was very satisfied with what I ate. You can paid double for this kind of service and food in San Francisco.
