This is the only hair salon I go to. Everyone is friendly and professional. I’m always pleased with any service I get. My hair dresser is Sasha and she is amazing! The décor is warm and inviting and I always have a great time.

Bought a groupon for a massage from Get Twisted as well as other massage spas in the area. After receiving a massage from all the different spas I would have to say the best one was from Sasha. It was also one of the best massages I’ve had. I would give this 5 stars but will have to give it 4 stars because they do not have a face rest on the massage table which leaves my head in an awkward position.

Here’s my experience…
I called ahead of time and asked if they could accommodate me. I told them I only had a certain amount of time to get a simple style. The woman on the phone told me if I come now she could get me in and out. I arrive and there’s one person now starting small box braids and two other customers sitting down. I waited 30 minutes and I still wasn’t being helped. I asked the stylist and she kept saying the lady will be here soon she’s right up th e street. Then insists that I need a deep conditioner she globs it on my head and throws me under the dryer. 1 hr later… I get up to ask the stylist the update on the stylist I’ve waited an hr and a half for and she rudely goes outside to eat. After waiting 30 minutes for her to come back in I request to leave. Complete waste of time. Unprofessional and rude… They lie instead of being truthful … Never again

I had a wonderful Massage by Sasha the other day and I would highly recommend her!!!

Had a very great experience here. I have natural hair so it’s hard to find a salon that can do my hair. I came in with no appointment and in a rush for work and they still fit me in to do my hair, and did a great job. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming definitely going to make this my go to salon.

I’m currently transitioning to natural (not doing the big chop) and came in for Bantu knots as my first natural style. She walked me through the process (products she was using and why). She further explained rinsing my conditioner out with cold water (as I love hot water) and really focused on my hair and its needs. I am a FOREVER CLIENT! She is personable, kind and really cares. I live in Monroe, NY, so taking the hour drive is well worth it. Do yourselves a favor and come see Sasha!
This is my second visit and between now and my last visit, I’ve seen a difference in my hair. I’m BEYOND Happy.

It’s back to school time and my teenage daughter Isabella is getting her locs twisted by my hairstylist Sasha. Isabella loves the way Sasha does her locs and how she styles her hair. Just like my hair, when Sasha re-​twists Isabella’s hair, it looks freshly done for days and days afterwards. Isabella is a teenager and very picky about how her hair is styled and colored. She has gone other places in the past, but would never go back because she is in love with how Sasha does her hair. That says a lot about Sasha’s work because everyone knows how fickle and picky teenagers can be! Thanks Sasha for making sure she and I can agree on at least one thing, that we love coming to you and Get Twisted to get our hair done.

Had the most horrible experience of my life here! RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and let’s not get started on the CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was a regular client here for 2yrs with no issues. Last month I went for my regular retwist (locs) and dye. The owner of the shop lied to me able being able to dye my hair, over processed my hair by stripping it 3 times, left me with dye in my hair refusing to rinse it out because I said I didn’t like the color, screamed at me, and talked about me to other clients in the shop. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR, STAY FARRRRRRR AWAY FROM HERE!!!

After being fed up with another local salon, I found Get Twisted Hair Salon on Unilocal and they were able to fit me in that same morning after hearing about the horrible experience is already had.
My stylist, Sheryl, was patient, understanding to exactly what I wanted and was able to educate me on my hair style of choice (starter locs). Once I find a place that is customer service oriented, I am loyal and now that I have found Get Twisted Hair Salon, I am a loyal patron. The staff is professional, the shop is well kept, the prices are justified by the services rendered, THEY RESPECT YOUR TIME (and you are not there all day!), and everyone you encounter is friendly and ready to treat your hair with the care it needs.
From one picky customer to another, this is the place for natural hair care in Bergen County and the surrounding areas.

This is a great full service salon with great expertise. Always accommodating, Sasha will listen to what you want and create your vision. I always come away feeling renewed whether its a wash and curl or the full treatment.
