this place is always packed when i show up, around 6−10ishpm. There’s always a line to get to the chicken, so to speak. I love the 5 piece wing combo with a side of fries and the 2 piece breast and thigh. The corn on the cob is pretty good too and it goes great with the 2 piece pies. My family loves this place and is constantly buying the family meal.

First time coming to Popeyes and I’m a fan ! We ordered spicy chicken tenders, regular chicken, red beans and rice, Cajun rice, biscuits and Cajun mashed potatoes. All was tasty, prices were right and the staff was friendly. We will be back. Oh, be sure to get an apple pie for dessert.

Food: I ordered a 2-piece dinner. I got a spicy wing, mild breast and Cajun fries as the side. It says the 2-piece dinner comes with 2 pieces of chicken, reg side and a biscuit all for $ 5.99. My order was correct. Only complaint is the fries portion looked more like a small and they were soggy but somehow they still tasted kinda good. This was the first time they didn’t taste perfect. They are usually good so don’t be afraid to try them. The chicken was really good. Can’t decide if I like spicy or mild better. They both were good. The biscuit was nice and fluffy and crispy at the same time plus salty/buttery. Very tasty. Even with the skimpy fries it was enough food to fill me up without feeling guilty lol. Experience: I went here today because I was starving and wanted Cajun fries. When I first got to the door I saw a promotion. If you do the survey on the back of the receipt you get a 2-piece meal and side for the price of a med drink($ 1.79). WOW! Everything went fine. My food was ready almost immediately. I paid with credit card and got a tiny receipt. No details on it. Then I remembered I need the real one so it can become a coupon so I asked for my real receipt. He gave me one and I was happy. Later I got home and tried to do the survey from my receipt. I realized it was a reprint. It also wasn’t even MY receipt. I got a 2-piece dinner but the sides said green beans. And the time on the receipt didn’t match the time on my little credit card receipt… I tried to do the survey online first but I didn’t have enough info from the receipt to answer the preliminary questions so I tried to call in. When I called on the phone it told me I wouldn’t get a coupon but would be entered for a sweepstakes… Basically both didn’t work. All I wanted was a coupon. I did do the survey. I couldn’t even complain in the survey about not getting a complete receipt. I was planning to return sooner but now I don’t know when I’ll be back. That coupon was my incentive. The food is not very healthy and I kinda only eat this place when I’m starving. Thinking back, I’ve never received a real receipt though. I only ever get the little one. Maybe if I pay cash they would give me a real receipt. How come I had to ask for the receipt in the first place? I guess most people don’t keep receipts or do surveys or use coupons… Call me petty… PROS: Good food. Decent price. Speedy service. Filling. CONS: No detailed receipt Tip cup openly displayed? They have a tip cup right in front the register. Kinda weird but I have tipped before. Where I work we’re able to accept tips but not allowed to openly display the tip cups. The cup kinda makes me feel guilty when I don’t have cash. Not sure anyone goes above and beyond here though. BOTTOMLINE: I recommend this place. The food is really good. It’s filling and it’s a good value for the amount of food. The food was ready really fast. «Louisiana…FAST!!» Plus no one else would probably care about a receipt… lol

They have chicken only deals for like 10 pieces for $ 12 and day specific deals on Mondays and Tuesday I think. In any case, if you need fried chicken it’s hard to beat this place for the price and quality. There’s high turn-over which means the chicken is fried fresh and not sitting on warmer for hours. This place is bustling with business which is why they probably can afford to offer lower prices than other Popeye’s stores.

I Prefer The Popeye’s On Rte 4… The Staff Isn’t Friendly And Most Times The Food Doesn’t Taste So Fresh… Needs Lots Of Improvements!

Arrived about an hour before kitchen closing time. Wanted to try Chicken & Waffle strips, was told they don’t have any left. It was quite late so I decided to go with regular chicken strips. Also bought a blackberry & cream cheese pie, the apple pie is so much better IMHO.

I love their chickens but not sure about the cleanliness as my last took out meal there resulted a bit of my «post — eating — traumatic — symptoms.» I am not sure to blame them or just my dirty fingers /hands.

Never stopped by this place, but it’s always busy. I had such a hankerin’ for some fried chicken. I’m always a KFC fan, but I heard so many people raving about popeyes, I figured I’d come have some chicken and some of the crawfish as well. For my family I ordered the 10 piece chicken for $ 10, two biscuits and an order of the fried crawfish. I was also interested in the crawfish étouffée, but I didn’t want to go overboard on food. We waited about 10 mins for our food, but I didn’t mind, just meant I’d be getting fresh fried chicken instead of those drying up under the heat lamps. =) I’m glad not all fast food joints have gone down the drain! The chicken was super juicy and crispy! The crawfish wasn’t very greasy at all, felt like I was eating mini crawfish, this sure beats breaking these suckers at Boiling Crab, haha! Kinda expensive, but still good at least for the price. Next up will be cajun fries and the étouffée for sure! BTW, i don’t think the teeni tiny side is worth it ta $ 1.69. go for the larger size, more than twice the amt for about $ 3 something.
