Teaneck Nails

I used to frequent this salon on bi-​weekly basis for several years. It was always clean & the staff for the most part was friendly. Everyone knew me by name. I broke up with this salon when they took a party of 4 in front of me. I had already been waiting 10 minutes for my pedicure & I had an appointment. When I asked why this party of 4 was going to be serviced when I was here first and waiting no one had an answer for me. I decided it was time for a divorce and took my money elsewhere. My new nail salon cost more money but the service is impeccable. I also get free herbal tea and water with my bi-​weekly mani-​pedis.

My go to nail spot! Clean, great mani-​pedis, lots of color options. For a $ 21 mani/​pedi you cant go wrong! The only thing I do not like is that there is always a wait, even when you make an appointment which is pretty frustrating. Most of the technicians do a great job, but you have to tell them to be careful with your cuticles. Still, it is a good local spot which dependable service.

They do an okay job when the place is not crowded. I must say they do a beautiful French tips but charges $ 50 (which is a lot to do it while a spot in Hackensack charges $ 25). I went there one busy afternoon for a regular manicure and pedicure and was a bit disappointed. They rushed through my manicure and pedicure to move on to the next customer. They barely leave your feet to soak in the warm water with liquids to loosen dead skin. My feet was still rough on the heel and they did not clean the dead skin around nails or dirt under the nails on the sides. My fingernails still had rough areas on the nail which needed to be filed down from when I did my last French tips and they did not clean of dead skin around the nails. I like my feet soaked, scrubbed well and dead skin to completely be gone from around and under my nails. They need to work on being more patient with each one of their customers nails so that customers can keep coming back. Overall experience with tips love it but price is a bit too much.

Nice, clean establishment. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was cared for immediately. Mimi was professional and thorough. My gel color manicure was perfect and at $ 30, reasonably priced. She helped me pick a color and was very patient, trying on colors for me. There was soft, peaceful music playing in the background. I also did eyebrow waxing after my manicure and my eyebrows were shaped nicely!!! Overall, a pleasant experience. The pedicure chairs did not look that inviting but I might be willing to try one there! If this gel lasts, I’ll definitely be back for my manicures!

First off if I could give this store zero stars I would. I go here all the time and the last time I went I got a regular manicure, half way through the manicure she asked for my card so I could pay and not get my nails messed up at the end. After she gave me the receipt she said it declined, not only did they take ten dollars off my bank account but the receipt says approved. The nail lady then called an employee over to look at it and they started laughing. Worst experience of my life! OH AND BTW I DIDNT EVEN GET MY NAILS PAINTED!
