Supposed to be a hometown favorite; pizza with extra bland end it took three teenagers quite a while to figure out what we were ordering which was pretty simple

If you talk to enough people about Basil Boys, you’ll probably hear somebody say the breadsticks are laced with crack. They’re just that addictive. The staff is incredibly friendly. Good lasagna and salads too — a great choice for catering any casual event you might have.

I’ve lived all over the Northeastern U.S.(Philly, NJ, NY, CT, Detroit). I currently live in Chicago, so needless to say I’ve had some good Pie. This is without a doubt my favorite. My wife born and raised a Chicago Gal’s as well as much as it pains her to say it. Breadsticks are a must. The BLT Pizza is fantastic(If you like BLT’s). Certified Legit!!!

This place is so good! The breadsticks with their homemade ranch dressing are to die for! They make amazing pocket sandwiches out of their bread as well. They also have a great Cobb salad and the small is huge. The owners are super nice and are always doing something to give back to their community! Great place!

I lived right beside this place for a long time so I ordered here a ton when I was feeling like I wanted food now. The pizza was always just okay. The breadsticks were slightly better than average but I think people had hyped them up too much for me. I wasn’t a big fan until I tried the salads and wraps. I especially liked the wraps and ordered those most. The staff has never been great though. Every time I went in, it was always a bunch of young kids and I always felt a little self-conscious because none of them were ever real friendly or welcoming. Great place to grab some quick food but just okay over all.

Great pizza, great salads and amazing breadsticks. Great place to go for Italian food and Greek salads.

I would recommend the breadsticks at least for first timers. You need to try them at least once. They make a house ranch, pizza sauce, and Greek dressing that is SO good with the bread. They have a variety of gourmet pizzas that are good, and they always are trying new things with a «pizza of the month». The dough and sauce is made in house. They have fresh mushrooms and big slices of bacon rather than bits. Some other favorites are lasagna, wings, hot Italian sandwich, pepperoni roll, and of course the Greek salad. Another great salad is the chicken BLT salad with Greek or ranch. If you are getting the pepperoni roll be sure to call ahead or come in early since they tend to run out quickly! Soup is only during the winter/fall season but is delicious! I also really like their Mac n cheese squares and crinkle fries on the kids menu! Be sure to check out their website for daily lunch specials!!! This is a great place to go for comfort food and a friendly environment!

I love this place. When I get to Tecumseh I always make an effort to get there. The breadsticks are great and and so is the Greek wrap. The pizza dough is legit. If you are one of those people who is all about the ambiance then this place won’t win you over. Give it a try. More than likely you went be disappointed.

Decent, greasy pizza. The service is solid as well. Don’t expect 5 star food but you get what you pay for, the place is clean and the menu is decent. Worth the money. Only other negative is that they would not cater to a small party. That was odd. If I ordered 5 pizzas, some ribs, a tray of salad — that would be the same thing! That was a total turn off so we spent our money elswhere.

Visiting from atlanta, ga and have to say I was impressed with the food. We had the pizza, wings, salad and breadsticks and all were delicious. Very reasonably priced and plenty of space for a big group. Would definitely recommend this For its pizza alone. Biggest downside was no draft beer

Just got an Italian sandwich, pepperoni roll and bag of breadsticks to go. Dinner was great. The food is always quality from basil boys. Didn’t get soup this time but I’ve always loved it. Can’t wait until next time.

Their bread sticks are AMAZING!!! We are never disappointed by the quality of food! From their pizza, to their sandwiches everything is yum yum! It is a little greasy but what can you expect from a pizza place. Also the inside could use a face lift but other than that it is GREAT!

The prices are great. A small pizza is easily enough for two. I really liked the dough. A little too much cheese for me but the fiancé had no complaints. I also have had their chicken ceasar pocket sandwich. that pocket bread is amazing, as is the bread stick. If only they delivered…

There nothing special about this place, but it is a local favorite. The pizza options are ok. I really think they do the best with lasagna option. It is pretty tasty and really two adults could share a portion. Most people rave about the bread sticks and they are ok, but come on it is a bread stick.

This is one of those places that are quite common in small Midwestern towns. One of two or three restaurants splattered up and down main street to give folks a break from Burger King or KFC. Usually these places pretend to be ethnic and they specialize in one or two dishes that keeps the locals happy and keeps them recommending the place over and over to outsiders. And that’s what brought us to Basil Boys. Breadsticks. These breadsticks are legendary to folks in Lenawee County. So we had to find out what the hype was all about. The place was small. Menu items overpriced. No one was Italian. The staff seemed annoyed that we were taking up a table just to order bread and water. But the breadsticks… they were a little better than average. Pretty thick, buttery, but not overly buttery. Marinara was great. Worth stopping in to grab a bag but I wouldn’t recommend staying there to dine.

Wonderful food all the way around! Breadsticks are wonderful! My only complaint is that they don’t have more locations.

I’m a fan of the stromboli and pizza bread. It was really busy on a Thursday night with an hour wait on anything from the oven.

Woohoo! It is as good as it gets for pizza and breaksticks at Basil Boys! Especially the breaksticks, they are grand! You can order to go or order up front and eat at the sitdown area of the restaurant. Family friendly with great italian food other than pizza as well! Try it!

Wow, no reviews yet??? There must not be alot of Unilocalers in Tecumseh. Growing up in this town we would go here all the time for the breadsticks which are incredible. I haven’t been here in years and went last week again. The food is just as amazing as it was before. This is possibly the best pizza that I have ever had and the breadsticks are simply amazing. Word’s will not do them justice, take the drive to Tecumseh and see for yourself.
