I was going on a little tour of mills in Ozark County, and this one was my favorite. This place is exactly what I picture in my head when I think old mill — a beautiful, old, red, wooden mill nestled at the foot of a huge hill next to what is now a creek.(I’m guessing there was more water when this was actually a mill.) It was quite picturesque. I went to this mill in the off season so it wasn’t exactly open to go inside at the time, but the lady there said it was fine for us to walk around. We did peek inside for a second though. There was going to be a wedding there later that day. I think it would be a wonderful spot for some wedding photos. It was great to walk around the outside on a warm Saturday afternoon.
