We were totally amazed at how crowded this place was on a Saturday afternoon. We did not have a chance to try any of the food on the menu but there were many intriguing offerings. I loved the beer. You order at the bar and try to find a place to sit. I’m sure in the summer with the outside seating available it would be much easier. It seemed like the only place in Tecumseh to be on this day. Kyle behind the bar was very accommodating and we are planning another road trip to this spot sometime in the future.

Definitely as good as it gets in Tecumseh! My Wife grew up here; so I’ve been coming into town regularly for almost 11 years now. There are only a few watering holes that serve quality micro beers. These guys know how to brew a good beer, and we always try to make it up here since they’ve opened. I haven’t eaten much of the food so I will strictly review the beers. They typically aim for a certain flavor profile, and go all out to achieve it. Like the ‘Peanut Butter Stout’, tastes like peanut butter; the ‘Crème Brulee Stout’ tastes like crème brûlée. Stouts aren’t all they serve though — I’ve had an excellent hefeweizen, lager and even scotch ale. The taps are always rotating, so I never know what’s going to be on tap when I show up. That’s good and bad, mostly good. We always try to make it up to TBC when in town. I may have another visit in me tonight when the kids go to sleep and the grandparents are home to try the new ginger beer :-)

Ok just cam here and had the Cuban it was fantastic. There own mustard sauce was great. Would come here again for sure. Had the Hayden’s Hefeweizen with it and it was like I was in Florida at Ebor city!

Truly excellent beer and food, with an unmistakeable local flavor — one look at the menu and you know you can’t be anywhere but Tecumseh. The restaurant is pub-style, meaning you order your food at the bar and pick it up there — no waitstaff. There are some regular tables, a few hightops, and even a few couches, as well as bar seating. The beer is not just brewed locally, but also sourced locally. In addition to the hops being grown in the area, when I visited they had an excellent dark beer made with coffee from The Daily Grind and another with chocolate from Boulevard Market, both of which are right on the same street. There’s also a cheese and sausage platter from Boulevard Market. The beer isn’t cheap, but neither is it unreasonable for small-batch craft brews. The sense of place even extends to soda: instead of Coke or Pepsi, they have Faygo(made in Michigan). There’s a small area for outdoor seating, which is nice. There have been a few times when the music inside was turned up a little louder than I like, but that’s a matter of taste. I love restaurants with a strong sense of place, where their ties to their location are unmistakeable and where you can’t imagine finding the same restaurant anywhere else. Tecumseh Brewing is definitely like this, which makes it an excellent experience for anyone visiting town.

I really like almost everything about this place so far. The staff is really friendly, engaging, and fun. They’re very accommodating and will definitely go the extra mile to be sure you find something you like. I really enjoyed almost all the food I ordered. I liked that they didn’t serve the most basic, simple things but they also added local businesses’ ingredients. Thank you, also, TBC, for actually having a very large, clean, and inviting bathroom! Almost every brewery I frequent has small, cramped, disgusting bathrooms but they did a great job with renovations, making it feel classy. The owner was very willing to let me taste, mix up flights, and sample until I found a beer I liked. I definitely want to come back. My favorite part though, was that the bill was very forgiving and I felt like it was very worth the price. I do wish they had more prices posted but thankfully, I didn’t get sticker shocked at the end of the night. The membership deal also seems to be a super good deal!

This place is the real deal. If you’re looking for decent food, a nice cold beer, and a welcoming environment you’ve found it! First off, the owner was running the bar when I came in last Saturday and was extremely helpful with letting me try beers to find one that fit my taste. Ordered a Turkey sandwich that was good and served in a good amount of time. It’s nice because if you sit at the bar you can view your food being made. Nice atmosphere as well. All around a good place to grab a decent beer and enjoy some good food and conversation.

Had the sampler… all 9 of them! Couldn’t find a brew to dislike. My wife loves the Belgian and Mr. Pink should not be missed. And the owners and staff are pretty frigging cool too.

Our first visit was last night, a Sunday evening. First off I would like to say that this place has a great atmosphere. It’s super clean as the staff was friendly. There are tons of games like a mini air hockey table, a food all table, and even board games to play. We took our kids since it wasn’t late and they enjoyed the games for entertainment. We had burgers for our meal. The meat was fresh. They are waaaay too big and pretty greasy so be prepared for that. But they had unique toppings. It tasted good but it was just kind of too much food. The tater tots had seen better days. As far as beer, they had about 7 selections. I only had the blonde but I liked it. Hubby said he thinks the alcohol content is off since he had half a glass of the mega and already had a buzz. Haha. They have no waiter service. You go up to the counter and order everything yourself. You even go up and get your own food when it’s ready and your own silver wear and such. It would be nice if they had at least someone going around at times to clear glasses and food from tables. But they do tell you that right up front on a card on the table and on the menu. Overall I think this is nice little place to go and hang out with friends. I’m not sure I would plan my dinner with my family there again, but I would definitely go back to enjoy socializing with friends!

My first trip to Tecumseh Brewing was a pleasant one. The beer selection is small, but the ones I tried were tasty. «Smoother Than A Fresh Jar of Skippy» is a nice-tasting peanut butter beer, and«A Finer Temptress» had a great coffee taste. The turkey sandwich I had wasn’t too bad, but it was a bit dry. The apple-cranberry chutney tastes good, but leaves the sandwich too dry for my liking. It could probably use something like a honey mustard sauce or something to give it a bit better feeling in the mouth. The service that night was a bit slow, and they seemed confused, somehow forgetting the orders of part of my group. Everyone else had their orders come up promptly, so hopefully this was a rarity.

Both beers I got to try were very tasty, the burger was delicious. There is an outdoor patio with bean bag toss, perfect for a nice summer day matched with cold beer. Staff very friendly if you have any questions

Great for the beer enthusiasts, especially those looking for a twist. Started out with a flight & was not disappointed with any of my selections. They have a variety of handcrafted & award-winning ales & lagers. Have to order beer & food from the counter, but staff was friendly & fast. Can’t wait to go back & try more beers since they try & rotate three weekly.
