Fantastic… the Dorners really treat you like family and work hard to deliver the wedding day that every couple deserves. As a wedding DJ I really appreciate this. The venue is gorgeous, cozy, and welcoming. The food was great. The weather was beautiful. Can’t ask for more.

My daughters wedding was held here on July 25, 2015 & I couldn’t be more more pleased with the outcome. From the first day meeting with Mike & Michele Dorner until the the day after the wedding they made the process go so smoothly, thinking of every little thing that you might miss & being ready to take care of it in a flash. They do so many sweet thoughtful things to ensure everyone is comfortable & make you feel like family. These are truly wonderful people! The property is just gorgeous & well kept including a charming koi pond. This place should be featured in «Better Homes & Gardens». If I could give 10 stars I would! I can’t say enough about these people & this venue. Thank you so much for everything Mike & Michele! You are definitely Kern County’s Best Kept Secret!

Came to this place for my sisters wedding absolutly beautiful place. Owners were very nice and helpful and let us stay extra time past our arranged date would highly recommend this place

If I could give Mike and Michele more than 5 stars I would.
I came to them nine days before my wedding date in a panic because my previous venue had canceled on me and now I found myself with nowhere to put 100+ guests. They are a seasonal venue, and their wedding season typically starts in May, though my wedding was on April 25^th. Hearing my story, they took pity on me and booked be right away. Upon showing me the venue, I simply fell in love. The scenery was gorgeous, with a choice to be married in front of the vineyards or in front of the barn. They had a gorgeous pond and everything needed to set up catering, tables, and even a spot for us to set up our beer pong tables. :) I knew I had scored with this place, because not only did they save my butt at the last minute, they also had a far lovelier venue and yet cost less than the venue that had flaked on me.
On the day of the wedding, it poured. And it was freezing. The vineyards flooded. However, Michele and Mike called me the night before to warn me of this, and even split the cost of renting canopies to cover my guests. Not only that, but when I finished saying my vows to my (now) husband I went to the reception area to find that Mike and Michele had not only brought out a blanket and set on my chair, they had brought out blankets for many of our guests! Though it was cold and rainy, we had a blast… and I will always recommend the Dorner Family Vineyards for any kind of venue needs.
¹⁰⁄₁₀ would book again. :)

The Dorners what can I say about them other than they are such wonderful people. Our experience with them was just great. My sons wedding was not only relaxing it was absolutely beautiful. We could not have found a better place in all of Tehachapi. Thanks so much for all you did for us. It’s was a fantastic day and one that we cherish always.

We attended a Celebration of Life for my Sister In Law Tammy Ann Bennett — Wallace here.
They had tables covered in white linen table cloths, chairs on a huge deck and lawn area. The drinks and food were set up on the patio. It was very nice in a beautiful setting with the hills above and with the valley below.
Mike and Michele Dorner are both warm and friendly.
