Last month while I visited California I was able to try their fruits at the Farmers Market in Pasadena. My mother and grandmother were very pleased with their fresh apples and other fruits. We also bought a watermelon from them… That was the only bad choice. All the other fruits that we bought were so full of flavor, except the watermelon. Really cool thing was that he belongs to the same group of family as mine. Mr. Ha and I are related through one same ancestor. What a small world!

The mini Fuji apples were sweet, crisp, and flavorful. I consistently see them often. They also have things like Apple ciders, jams, and even dried Apple chips. Thanks guys! Love them.

Not only are their fuji apples the best, but their jumbo organic eggs are the freshest I ever ate. I buy them at the Beverly Hills Farmers’ Market.

I have not been to Ha’s apple farm but they have THEBESTAPPLEBUTTER. It is just Fuji apples, cinnamon, allspice and cloves. If you love apples, then this is the absolute best stuff. Unfortunately, they are not at my local farmer’s market, but I will definitely be on the lookout.

Good quality apples from their stand at Calabasas Farmers market. Not bad on the price too. I also suggest the Fuji apple fruit rolls. Few different flavors to choose from. No sugar added which is a plus in my book. Never met the owner, But the stand workers were helpful.

Our family has been buying apples and pears from him. Recently, I asked a question if they use any pesticides or antibiotics on the apples, which I heard were done on some Washington apple trees. Hopefully, I get an answer from him soon. This was Ha’s Apple Farm reply: Our Apple is certified organic but the Pear is not certified organic Tell FDA to stop allowing antibiotics in apple and pear production.

I bougth the Dried Fuji Apples and they are terrific. I don’t usually eat dried fruit but these are so hard to put down. I can’t wait to stop by and get some more.

The pears and apples are ALWAYS tasty! The guy at the Brentwood farmer’s market helped us learn how to pick out the best apples and pears, so my wife and I have become a couple of apple and pear snobs… Ask him to help you pick your fruit, and you’ll soon see what I mean as well! Their dried apples are always a great treat to have if you need a bit of a snack. Fortunately these guys seem to be at all the Farmer’s Markets we’ve been to, including Brentwood, Montrose Harvest Market, Pacific Palisades, and the Santa Monica ones as well… :)

Apples that taste distinctly like an apple. Guess that certain aromatics or volatile compounds do not survive time and distance, because even the organics at WF, which generally have been shipped interstate, lack this particular flavor that is the essence of appleness. The apples tend to be small compared to grocery store ones. At my farmer’s market, I always walk past the others, and choose these. Pears on occasion, too. Dried apples are nice, a sweet crunch as an cooking ingredient, but a bit sugar-dense to eat straight up.

Mr. Ha has the best apples at the Pasadena Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings! I first found him at the Monrovia Farmer’s Market on Friday nights. Ha’s apples truly are a cut above. I would like to see his farmer’s market schedule up on his website, though.

Their dried Fuji Apples are the best — no sugar or sulphur dioxide added. And it’s not at all like the soggy, spongy, dried apples you find at the supermarket. In fact it’s got almost a little bit of a crisp to it. It’s $ 10 for a large bag(.8lb) and so worth it. It takes a lot of apples to make a bag like that. I bought them at the Santa Monica farmer’s market on Arizona and 3rd street promenade on Wednesdays(not sure if they’re there on Saturday too).

The Dried Fuji Apples are the best dried fruit you can find. Soooo good. I usually buy at least 3 bags at a time so the shipping can be combined into one Flat Rate Box. They seem expensive but I have to say they are wonderful for snacking, baking, adding to oatmeal. Nothing like the soggy dried apples from the store.

Whenever I have a free Saturday morning, I hop over to the SoCo Farmers Market in Costa Mesa. Ha’s is one of the highlights there. They have a wide variety of different types of Apples, including Cameo and Pink Lady. They have samples of each cultivar of apple to try before you buy. They aren’t the cheapest, but their apples are truly fresh off the Farm.

Found Ha’s apple Farms at the Costa Mesa Farmer’s market(3321 Hyland) on Saturdays. They had my favorite apple(Mutsu), which I usually have to drive to Oak Glen to get. Apples were very good. The people there were very friendly and nice. I will be buying from again. The Mutsu apples were pricey at $ 3.00 a pound, but it works out since I don’t have to drive 2 hours to Oak Glen to buy.

I’ve been buying Fuji apples from the Ha’s Apple Farm booth at the Long Beach Downtown Farmer’s Market on Fridays for probably a good 10 years now. I don’t know what magic the owner, David Ha, uses on his apples but they are the best. They are always crisp and sweet. They last longer than grocery store apples if you store them in your crisper. Today I also got some peaches. They are also crisp and sweet. Yum!
