Best Baklava on earth! Seriously! I drive over thirty miles and will wait till it’s ready. It is delicious, moist and hits all the high notes. Their lamb kabobs are excellent served with a delicious Mediterranean salad of cucumber and tomato. Hummus, Baba Ghanoush and fresh pita are all excellent. The garlic fries will slay dragons and fix any immune system issue. Delicious fresh made food with excellent ingredients. It is the best place to eat in Tehachapi. Casual, kid friendly.

This place is so good! I normally don’t like fries, but their garlic fries are addicting and fantastic. I also like to order their mozzarella sticks. They are huge and come with this tasty marinara sauce and I just love to come here. I’ve tried a lot of their other food, but those two are my favorites. I’ve never had anything bad here. I think that the prices are really fair for this good quality food!

Absolutely delicious. Any dish is amazing. I really like the salads and hummus, but the wraps and pizzas are really good too if you’re craving something heavier. You really can’t go wrong. Also I like the patio dining. It’s in a nice area downtown, so you might as well enjoy the view.

My wife and I stayed at a friend’s cabin in Hart Flat after Christmas, and she had been to Petra before, so we decided to stop by on the way home. She had a falafel in lavash, and I had the lamb & beef gyro in lavash. We also ordered garlic fries and the soup of the day, potato leek. I’ll say that I’m not a aficionado of Mediterranean food, but what I look for is good hummus, tender, juicy, flavorful meat, and to walk away smelling like I bathed in a sauna of garlic. Mission accomplished. I’ve had some better meat at other Greek and Mediterranean restaurants I’ve visited, but this was good, served almost like a wrap or burrito. It held together really well, and was complemented quite well by the rich soup. I’m not sure of the extent of variety that Tehachapi has to offer, in terms of culinary diversity, but I definitely didn’t expect to find a solid Mediterranean place, chilling downtown on an unassuming street corner. But most importantly, know this. Eat here, and fight off vampires with your bare breath.

Never had foul before and it was delicious! I had to stop eating it so I could save room for the gyro. Tons of meat piled in the gyro, great price for the amount of food. I’m stuffed and have half of it leftover. I used to overlook this place as an option for food but I won’t anymore.

We ate lunch here today. I was referred by a friend to most definitely try the garlic fries. So we did. Whoa. get some ranch dressing! So yummy! I had the cranberry chicken salad sandwich. Not much in the way of flavor but the roll it was served on was soft. The man got the gyro, lamb and steak. He really liked it. The reason for the 4 stars. I felt the place could be cleaner. staff a little more aware of their touching of things. I never saw a pair of gloves on the person cooking and delivering the food.. but the food was good and it was quite the busy little place!

Okay so I’ve gave this place two chances already and ordered two different things. The first time I went I ordered the gyro and i was so disappointed! If you know anything about real gyros than you would know that what they serve here is more like a burrito! Second time I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich, it made my stomach hurt so bad. Definitely not real Mediterranean food, sorry.

Amazing food… love the geek salad with chicken. If you don’t care about your breathe go for the garlic fries so good! The coffee is like a coffee shot literally and it is delicious. The customers are steady and the owners so enjoyable and kind. I look forward to the next visit.

You’ve gotta try it! Small place, great food, affordable and homemade. Had Dolmas –Yum Garlic fries– YUM chicken kebab wrap pita –YUM Garlic party. SOOO good. It gets busy for lunch so be patient. No fountain drinks, cans. Clean. Indoor and out door seating.

Absolutely wonderful. I see why it has near perfect star rating. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap with garlic fries. Chicken was seasoned just right, with a well balanced hummus taste. Fries were fresh cut, real garlic, yes I said it, REALGARLIC! Also, well seasoned; however, if you’re not a big fan of garlic, be careful it contains a lot. This is a locally owned restaurant with owners working here, which to me, it makes it much more special and intimate. This establishment has been receiving awards since 2010. The max occupancy is 46 ppl… but…THERE’S SEATINGOUTSIDE!

This is a casual spot good for a quick lunch or snack. It was one of the better meals we had in Tehachapi… which isn’t saying a LOT but still worth checking out if you’re walking around the quaint but very tiny«downtown» area. You walk in and order at a counter, which I hate. There aren’t any menu boards posted so you just have to find a menu and make some quick decisions. I’m sure most people have been here many times and know what they want. I didn’t. But I settled on a small order of mozzarella sticks and a small order of hummus and pita. Both were OK. I suspected neither was homemade but they weren’t bad. Girlfriend had a ½ veggie sandwich and salad. Both were deemed«good — not great». After you place your order, your food is brought to your table but you still need to get your own napkins, utensils, etc… I felt like I was up and down most of the meal. But it’s a casual place. Very fair prices and portions are good sized(I took most of my two side dishes to go). Again, not a bad stop and unlike most restaurants in town, this one DOES have a website so you can actually plan ahead what you’d like to order — I recommend doing that to avoid counter anxiety. Or is it just me that gets that?

I eat here all the time, best place in Tehachapi, you absolutely must try the garlic fries! They are amazing! Those along with a chicken lavash and you are fat and happy. My wife orders the lamb kabob and loves it. If you’re in Tehachapi or just passing thru it then it would behoove you to stop by and enjoy this great Mediterranean food in this wonderful small mountain community. 5 stars
