Went there with my family. Cute, cozy. Ordered salmon special. Was told it was 8 ounces, prepared fresh, light, good choice for diet. Wanted little t no butters or oils. Sauce and dressing on the side. $ 34 salmon came. Looked like about a 5 oz. portion at best. Crusty exterior as if it were deep fried. Quite possibly it was. Requested no roasted potatoes. Came on top of roasted potatoes. Greens were dressed. Veggies had butters. Could not eat salmon, too hard and crusty. Yogurt sauce was heavy. Other members dishes were ok. Pricey for what you get. Seems like they have a short order cook, not a chef at this establishment.

Food was good, not great. Atmosphere was nice and drinks were very good. Waitress was not good, felt rushed the entire time on ordering then she ignored us.

Great food and service! Atmosphere fun! Thanks Betsy for making our last night with friends fun and memorable. Everyone ordered something different and loved the food. The fried calamari was awesome!

My dad and I wanted to check out Telluride Bistro based on some good Unilocal reviews I had read. I’m inclined to agree with the best of them: we absolutely had a 5 star experience. The place was small, but elegantly set, creating a warm atmosphere to the restaurant. The menu was small, but nice enough so that there was a variety of items to choose from. We started with the bruschetta, which was nice. A bowl of the cream of mushroom soup was another excellent start to the meal. The winner in my book, though, was the homemade lamb ravioli with asparagus and peas, in a rich brown sauce.(*drooling*) I still dream of that ravioli. We finished with the tiramisu, which was rich and delicate: exactly how it’s supposed to be. The service was also spectacular. I found that all the staff were extremely amicable and knowledgable about the menu, which we appreciated. Granted, we didn’t go at an especially busy time of night, but I felt that the staff definitely paid attention and cared about how our meal was. It was a tad pricey, but with homemade pasta, desserts and an awesome selection of wine in the middle of rural Colorado, why wouldn’t it be? We will most definitely be back.

If you are looking for a cozy, friendly atmosphere with good food and wine, Telluride Bistro is the place to go. Start with the beet salad, it’s awesome. The wine list is extensive, ask to see their book with Barolo, rioja and new world wines to compliment your meal. The Bistro is a must when you go to Telluride.

Very slow service. The bruschetta was terrible — Small, dry and overpriced. Red Wine was marginal. Nice patio eating area. Blankets on the chairs. Toilet was cheap and stinky.

We had a very delicious and restful dinner here after a hard day of driving, really the best Italian restaurant food we’ve eaten in a long time. The chicken picatta(?)(they call it something else, but it’s the classic lemon, wine and capers preparation) was outstanding, a generous portion with well-prepared potatoes and veggies. My husband’s mushroom and sausage pizza was also terrific, and he’s picky about pizza. Although it was a chilly night, we wanted to eat on the patio, which was made more comfortable by the comfy blankets they provide. The soft jazzy music was exactly the right background to a great meal.

Food was very good. Waitress had her head in the clouds. Had to flag down a new one.

What a delicious dinner!!! Service was excellent, food was delicious, and atmosphere was so quaint. They provide blankets with outdoor seating. The hearts of palm spinach salad was amazing, and the Dover fish special was unbelievably yummy! My husband had the rigatoni bolognese and loved it.

This place is unreal. The food, the drinks, Sasha(the bartender) were spectacular. The service was amazing, being New Years eve, they did not have availability for reservations but took our names and got us in. Let me me say it was worth it. My only criticism is that we visited with two kids and they did not have a kids menu or a price break for the kids, but the place is amazing.

This place is great. The staff is consistently friendly, the patio is great and the food is above average. On this particular lunch visit I had a wonderful salad made of watermelon, mango, tomatoes and mozzarella. The dressing created the perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. I give them 4 stars for being consistently above average. I always look forward to returning.

I can only share great things about this place. MUST for great Italian food, the ambiance, and service were top notch! We had a party of eight walking around Telluride for the day and stumbled upon this place. They were close to closing and were more than accommodating. We had out fur children with us and they helped make them comfortable right next to us out on the patio. Besides the warm welcoming from Betsy, Kim was our waitress and was super friendly, attentive and gave us the best service when she could have been outta there. Most of the gang had the special BLTA pannini and the others had the Meat calzone. Everything was delish and their side were generous portions. No one left hungry. Plan on coming when you visit Telluride!

Wonderful dinner in a perfect outdoor setting. This place does have very limited indoor seating but for summer it is perfect! The hostess was friendly and found us a table quickly. They have blankets at each of the chair for those not accustom to the lower temps, which is nice since I am from hot Arizona! We ended up here after a disappointing risotto meal at a place down the street. They did not have risotto here so I asked the waitress for a recommendation, Capellini alla Checca was what she said was her favorite. I went with it and was not disappointed. The angel hair pasta was perfect, very easy to over cook. The garlic and goat cheese made this dish something I do not normally do at home. I know this restaurant was not my first choice but I wish it had been! To bad we were not visiting longer so we could come back to enjoy a lovely dinner here together.

Very disappointing. Owner/hostess not friendly at all. Waitress was very rude. We had rigatoni and gnocchi. Just so-so. Over priced. Would not go back.

1) This restaurant is no longer The Telluride Pizza Kitchen. Same building with more patio space in the summer and the same brilliant and inventive chef/owner Sergio Gonzalez. The pizza is very good but this is definitely not a «pizza joint» 2) This is far more than a simple regional restaurant in a mountain resort town. Sergio selects the best available ingredients, local when available, to create culinary delights out of a kitchen the size of a herring box. The man is simply brilliant in his love of cuisine and hospitality and bold in his sense of adventure with fresh food. He frequently changes the menu in response to customer requests and availability of desirable meats, fish and produce. Under the direction of the stunning hostess/owner Marta Unnars the staff is professional, friendly, highly competent and eager to please. If you don’t get what you want maybe you didn’t ask for it. The staff is attentive but not prescient. In the winter the dining area is small but there is never any pressure to turn over your table. The dining room seats 36 and there are six places at the bar. The main dining area can be configured to seat larger parties. Reservations can be made at 970−727−5239. Your first visit will not be your last. If that is not the case they would like to know why.

We had the lasagna and some pizza here for entrees and the tricolore salad. All of it was very good and authentic tasting. The restaurant is cozy and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Came here on our first night to Telluride. We sat on the back patio and the views, well what can I say«amazing». The service was great, although it took some time to get our drinks, especially after a long drive. My Dad had the scallops and they were outstanding, would have them again. We also split a calamari which was average. Entrees very good, I had the salmon and it was great. My fiancée had the pasta with seafood and that was loaded with mussels… a lot of food but not too heavy. Overall would go back and recommend it. Remember nothing in Telluride is cheap!
