FYI As of today, July 17th, they are out of business. All future events have been completely canceled. Everyone that had registered before July 15th is out whatever money they paid for a race. They are«bankrupt» and there is no one that will answer phone calls or emails. Wish I didn’t have to give even one star.

I realize there are a lot of bad things in the world but I was so disappointed in the foam fest. First off I drove over an hour to get there and then we had to walk what seemed like forever to get to registration. By the time we got there and waited in line for more than a ½ hour they did not have any safety pins left for our bibs and we did not receive a bag or a wrist band for the free beer. Still I was excited as this was the first time I did anything like this so I got to the start line with no time to stretch. It took so long to walk from the car to registration and then the line for registration that our race literally started 5 mins after we got to the starting line. As we went through all the mountain area there were people who got to the top and were so afraid to go down because it was very narrow and there were people running past so some of us in our group actually held peoples hands and helped them down the mountain. There were no volunteers or anyone around keeping an eye on people on these mountains. Then as we finally got down and helped others down we waited for the foam slide almost 25 minutes. That is how backed up it was. They were so unorganized that people missed their race times so they were thrown into other race times. No it is backed up at the foam slide, the cargo net and the tubes in the water. There was a group of about 25 of us that were all the way in the back and decided to swim around the tubes because they were saying it was a 30 minute wait for those. As we went around people were yelling at us and heckling us like we were doing something wrong. It clearly stated you could go around any obstacle. We were patient at the foam slide but once we got to the tubes our patience was gone. We then get to the finish line and were not allowed a beer because we did not have blue wristbands because they ran out. We walked around for nearly 25 minutes trying to find someone to buy the medals which in most 5K races those are given just for finishing. I understand this was for charity but the entire experience was horrible. If it wasn’t for the fact I did it with my best friend I think I would have left before it started. The only way at this point that I would EVER do this again would be to get lucky enough to be the very first group to go through. This was just very poorly planned and under staffed. I realize this may seem a little whiney to you but when you pay for the gas to get out there, a hotel to be able to enjoy yourself, to pay for the event and the medal this was a very expensive weekend to wait in lines and not have fun.

This Race was very poorly Organized! $ 50.00 Race fee! $ 10.00 to pack on horse manure, ¾ mile Hike from there to the Huge Registration line! No more safety pins to attach your race number! Foam not working on one of the Foam slides AFTERWAITING A ½ hr for it! After getting wet they set up an 8ft wooden wall for you to(fall off of) climb(too slippery) DANGEROUS! ANDWEWAITED(no Lie) ANHOUR to climb over the inner tubes in the Water. Ridicules! Slip and slide(Lg. plastic Tarp) was ripped! no showered! Changing rooms were a Flooded old, Wet, Bathroom for two!!! We were in the 11:30 race and they were packing it up before we even finished! When I went to check back out my bag, I handed the Girl my proof it was mine and she said” Oh we don’t need to check!!! Hua? Ok so what ur saying is ANYBODYCANHAVEMYBAG? I will Never do another one of these races!!! We made the best of it but, It was VERYPOORLYDONE!!!

Don’t waste your money! We did the 1 pm start. Several of the obstacles were either out of foam or no operational! When we got to the river crossing there was still and hour wait. We swam instead. There we no vendors left and all the bags were gone. Terrible planning. Parking was also a nightmare. 10 bucks to park in a pasture full of poo and alsmost a mile walk to the registration. All in all this event stinks. Litterally!

All I kept seeing throughout the entire day was animal feces all over the foam course and parking area. I was teetering back and forth whether to give this event 1 or 2 stars, but I think that it deserves a 1 star due to many factors. It was disgusting that there were animal feces all over the place. I initially noticed it when I parked. Also, I am annoyed by the fact that I had to pay $ 10 to park on a debris and feces infested area. The debris alone could have easily caused a puncture in my car’s tires. It certainly got my car dirty with all the dust and debris flying around. I need that $ 10 back so I can get a car wash. The walk from the parking to the registration area was ridiculous. It felt like I walked at least ¾ of a mile to get there. I thought this was rather ridiculous. That is a quarter of the race spent walking to the registration area. Once you got there, long registration lines awaited you. Again, this was poorly organized considering that they knew how many people would show up. Learn from the Warrior Dash folks where they man up their events so people don’t have to wait an hour to get their bibs and t-shirt. Since I had to wait in the long registration line, I missed my race heat. Luckily, the people at registration told me I could join another group. So, I finally joined another racing heat to start. I was not expecting all the hills for this event. The obstacles were of course full of foam. I think the once with the foam were pretty fun. However, the line backups for two of the obstacles were horrible. There was a long line for the slip and slide and the longest line at the water tire crossing. Since they already had an event in Arizona, they would have realized these bottle necks. The cargo climb was the most dangerous considering that people were wet from the foam and could slip and fall. The cargo climb should be done before people get wet. Once I finished the course, I was completely annoyed. It took so long to complete the event because of the backups. Not only that, you don’t get a medal for finishing. You have to pay an additional $ 4 to get one. What kind of race doesn’t give you a medal for finishing? It was sad. I would not do this particular event again.
