If you are in town looking for the best Asian fusion, you’ll have to come to Pechanga Casino to get what you want. Everything is lovely, the food is delicious and clean.

expectations were low given it was pan asian in a casino i had beef chow fun, it was pretty good. i also tried the phở. weird, it didn’t come with any veggies to put in it, just noodles, meat, and broth. it was ok though. the egg rolls were tasty and well done. everyone was pretty happy with the meal

Late night dinner here. Had steak, scallops, and potatoes. Was really delicious and worth the price. Service was great and they even charged my phone for me while I ate there.

I was on a job here at Pechanga for four nights and literally got hooked as soon as I gave this place a shot. My server, Adla was super accommodating and friendly, and made sure everything was as perfect as can be. The manager and other workers are also very welcoming. My favourite dishes here are the Phở Tai(~$ 10) and Bo Luc Lac(~$ 19). The Bo Luc Lac is literally heavenly(beyond words) and comes with a generous bowl of rice. While it’s a bit on the pricier side for Asian food, it’s important to consider that this restaurant serves high quality Asian food(I live in an Asian area in LA, and am Asian, and therefore extremely critical of my Asian food, so for me to say that this food is really good says a lot!) and that the portions are really big. This place is great for families. If you’re visiting Pechanga, you should definitely give this place a shot! I can’t wait to take my family here as I know they’ll love the food as well :) I’m now back in LA and can’t stop thinking about all the great food I’m missing from Bamboo! It almost makes me wish I lived in Temecula! I hope to make my way back there soon just to satisfy my Bo Luc Lac craving ;)

My husband and I crave for their roasted duck every time we go to pechanga. Sometimes we drive here from Torrance for the food. Their kbbq ribs is delicious and the phở is ok. The roasted duck is the BEST!

Bad, very bad!!! Well my travel companion(my mom) disagrees a bit with me, because she liked her dish and also because I didn’t translate everything they said. Bamboo is located inside Pechanga, nice decoration, not so nice service :( They were rushing us to order, which is annoying and spoiled the mood. Then: Lost in Translation!!! My mom wanted to know about some dishes, I translated to English they replied I translated to Spanish= Happy mom! Thankfully my mom was pretty quick to order. Then a seafood dish caught my eye and I asked my usual question: Is it spicy? They assure me it wasn’t. Food came to the table, nice presentation. My mom’s said her dish was tasty, I couldn’t try it because was spicy(yes, she loves spicy food! unbelievable!!!), my food looked nice first bite tasted good, second bite I felt weird, third bite unbelievable hot sensation! as if I was eating fire. 3 glasses of water later, my mouth started to feel better but I started noticing the blisters, I called the waiter and explained the situation, he said«is that spicy for you? well you should take it home» I tried to remain calm and explained that Im allergic and that was the reason why I asked before ordering(Duh!!!), then he brought me a box to pack it. I asked to talk to the manager, so he told me he was the assistant manager, so I told him we shouldn’t have to pay for that dish, then he threat us to call the casino security(WTF???) of course my mom got all stressed out, so I paid and left hating them. For 2 days I had the painful reminder of that awful dinner :( Needless to say I rather have crackers and water, if necessary, than going back to eat over there. Never again!

I’m from Orange County where Asian food is abundant My family and friends always want to eat here whenever we stay because they want their Vietnamese fix. I’ve tried this place a few times and every time I have always been satisfied. They have pretty authentic Vietnamese food for somewhere that has little Vietnamese people. I have tried the following and its description: Congee with Black Egg– Yum! They are not stingy with their eggs. There is plenty. The congee is flavored well and very delicious. It’s perfect for when you want something warm. Seafood Egg Roll– These are normally served with lettuce and fish sauce. The egg rolls are fried perfectly and are really good. I recommend as a starter. Quail– The quail is served with some lettuce and salt & pepper. I thought it was good and flavored well. Nothing too special though. Duck– We normally always order a whole duck if I come in a large party. It’s pretty good here and is a generous size. Beef with Chinese Broccoli– The beef is always cooked perfectly and the broccoli is never over cooked. It’s drenched a garlicky sauce. It’s worth getting. Wonton Soup– You can get this for free if you check-in through Unilocal. The soup came with some greens and shrimp wontons. It was well flavored and delicious. It’s very fresh tasting and tasted like they made it. I recommend it. It’s also free if you check in. Phở– The phở here is always good but always served not hot enough. Make sure you ask them to make it extra hot. The broth is always good and flavorful. The pricing here is pretty decent. Their bowls of soups are about $ 7 and dishes are about $ 10-$ 20. As for service, it has always been excellent. They are always very flexible and always try to please us. The inside of this place is pretty spacious. It has a see-through wall to the casino. The open feeling gives it a casual feeling. They open either 24 hours or are open very late. We normally come here late at night. Bamboo is a good option if you want Asian food in the casino.

I’m usually not a big fan of Vietnamese food but I’m always willing to try it. So I love fish, rice, sauces and Thai tea. Bamboo is a very nice restaurant and very well decorated and pretty modern. I love sweets and Bamboo does have a small dessert menu so I usually get the lemongrass crème brûlée or the coconut cheesecake. The prices are pretty decent but some of the food that I had was a little salty I’m not sure if it was suppose to be that way. The wait staff are friendly and very willing to explain whatever you want. I will probably be back sometime soon.

I’ve only been to Bamboo once. We went when they first opened. It’s has a nice casual dining atmosphere. As Paul B. says, it’s not a classy environment and I don’t think it’s meant to be. One thing about the restaurants here at Pechanga, they are meant to not be super particular in attire, because it’s a casino and people arrive dressed all kinds of ways. So it looks nice in there, but you don’t have to dress up. Our server was very nice and attentive. I ordered the sea bass. It sounded good and said that it came with a garlic-infused sauce. When the plate came, I was a little disappointed at presentation. The fish was laying in a thick pool of this green sauce, that looked like pureed peas. I wish it would have been on the side, because it ruined the taste of the fish. It was thick and had a weird taste to it. In fact, the fish would have been great without it. As I’m sure you all know, sea bass is expensive enough without ruining it. Instead of sending it back; in which case I have to rrreallly hate a dish, I just toughed it out and ate the part that wasn’t in the sauce. Even though the food was okay, I’m not in a big hurry to go back. I have eaten at better establishments for Asian-inspired food. However, I would give them a try again, since we went when they first opened. I like to give new establishments another try if I don’t particularly care for the food. I know they need time to iron out all the kinks.

My parents always get the vermicelli with pork and egg rolls, but this time the vermicelli noodles were definitely yesterday’s leftovers. We eat vermicelli at home, so I’m familiar with what the noodles are like after being in the fridge overnight. The noodles served were stale and stiff.

My sister is a regular at Pechanga and she normally gets comped for food. Out of all the places she’s tried, she likes Bamboo the best. I’ve eaten here 3 times and all 3 times it has been a really good dining experience. I’m an extremely picky reviewer when it comes to Asian food and I am happy to report that Bamboo has never failed to deliver on «authentic» asian taste when it comes to dining at a Casino. It might not be as good as Little Saigon or Alhambra, but it surely does get at least a B in terms of taste, which is much more than you can expect from a Casino. Dishes that we’ve tried that we enjoyed: 1) Yang Chow Fried Rice 2) Phở Bo Kho: Beef Stew with Rice Noodles. Flavor is good. Some pieces of meat needed to be cooked more tender though. Tons of tendon which I love! 3) Shrimp and Chicken Teriyaki Bento 4) NY Steak and Tempura Bento 5) Ca Kho To: Carmelized fish filet 6) Seafood Porridge: A bit bland. This is perfect though if you’re feeling sick. 7) Chinese Broccoli The prices are a little higher than you would normally pay in a restaurant but considering it’s located inside the Casino, it seems about right. Service has always been good every time we come here. You get a discount if you have their player’s card so remember to show that to your waitress.

I hate this place. I tried this place 6 times, ordered similar but different things all the time & it was all bad. Food is always gross and super expensive. I only get it because I get e-comp, but if I have to pay for it… No thank you. Only thing decent here is teriyaki chicken bento box but portions are super small. Workers are nice.

My experience here started off poorly, and ended up being average. First off, when we checked in, there was no one in line ahead of, or behind us. The restaurant looked to be about 15% full, so I was expecting to be seated right away. Sadly, we were not. I do not know if this is a tactic they use to allow customers more time to gamble, or think about gambling, but it made no sense to me otherwise. There seemed to be plenty of staff on hand, and a ton of open tables. Needless to say, I was not happy when they handed us(party of 2) a pager, and informed us of a 15 – 20 minute wait. The restaurant itself looked nice, and the menu had what we were craving, so we took the pager and waited. Although I did not like having to wait for an available table to somehow become more available, I was happy that their 15 – 20 minute estimate was at least accurate. Once we were seated, our experience improved… Our server, Ping, was professional and checked in on us a couple times throughout our meal. I ordered their version of Phở Tai(basically rare steak Phở — number 81 on their menu), and my wife ordered their wonton noodle soup(number 31). I did not taste hers, but she finished it, and said it tasted good. Mine was just okay. If I have tried ten different Phở spots, I would say Bamboo would rank 5th or 6th in taste. Definitely edible, but nothing I would make an effort to come back for. What ending up saving this experience for me was Ping’s service. The service prior to that was lacking, and the food was just average. I would be open to coming back and trying other dishes, but only if we were seated promptly.

Pretty much the only place in town that’s open late to get some phở. So I came here with my brother for the late night soup. The hostess was really nice and he seated me. He pull my chair for me and have me sit there and I never been to restaurant that’s done that for me. I thought that was pretty cool. I order a meatball soup #85 and it wasn’t too bad. We also order the spring rolls too. Honestly my brother n I were disappointed it wasn’t fresh and it didn’t taste good. It’s overpriced to even order it. I mean the other phở places I’ve been to it’s fresh. I would have to say this is the first time I ever had spring rolls tasting weird. If I’m gonna pay that much for spring rolls I expect it to be fresh n hella good! Now our waitress was nice in the beginning but later when I paid with my card. She asked for my ID in rude tone of voice and she didn’t even say please and say thank you when she handed back my ID. Then when she handed back the receipt, she didn’t even say anything and just walked away. It wasn’t even busy or anything. Well it’s gonna be first and last time eating there. A star for the hostess and a star for the soup!

3.5 stars for Bamboo! +Very nice, attentive manager and waitresses. Smiles all around and makes sure you’re dining experience is pleasant. +I saw on other Unilocal reviews that their phở is pretty good & I totally agree! It was actually better than the phở I ate in Gardena, which says something because Gardena is city full of Asians. Bamboo’s phở isn’t SGV or Westminster quality phở but definitely better than some restaurant phở for sure! +Convenience of eating on the premise than waiting for valet to get your car, drive out and eat, and valet your car again. Multiple valet = multiple tips so it’s extra $$$ you’re spending. I guess that can balance the slightly steep pricing at Bamboo and you can get right back into your gambling groove soon as you’re done with your meal! –Their price is steeeeeeeeeeep. Bowl of phở is $ 9.25, iced tea is freaking $ 4.95, and 2 rolls of spring rolls are $ 7… crazy. Not the best Asian food but seems like it’s not a shabby Asian restaurant if you order the right items and if you’re looking for conveniency.

I saw Manny Paquiao eating here! Our whole family was buzzing with excitement… Then the guy turned around and it was definitely NOT Manny. Mannn! We were disappointed, then as we were laughing it off, our food came out! The service did lag at the beginning but picked up pretty fast — I think it just depends when you come in(we came around dinner time so as you can imagine it was pretty busy — we were assigned a buzzer thingy because the wait was 40 min). The food: The phở was tasty and had a generous bowl full of what seemed like endless rice noodles(that’s a-OK by me!) For about 9 bucks — I believe you get what you paid for — I really liked my beef and there was also a lot of that in my bowl too; very delicious! We had spring rolls also without the pork and it tasted awesome :) Thai Iced Tea was yummy too! Not bad for Casino food — I like how Pechanga has a variety of restaurants and fast food :)

Looking for a place to eat after a long night of gambling? Well look elsewhere unless you are so intoxicated that you don’t care what you are putting into your mouth… Ordered the duck egg noodle soup and not only did it come with a very limp, sad looking duck, but it came with a little cockroach in my soup. I was so disgusted that The waiter said, I’m sorry but sometimes there are bugs in the spinach… one… how are there cockroaches in spinach? two… how was something bigger than a grain of rice not washed out of SPINACH… three… there was no spinach in my soup!!! WTF. Ordered chicken fried rice instead… and it was again a very sad plate. Didn’t have any flavor, no sauce, no salt. I could make a better fried rice and I don’t even know how to make it… Go to Blazing Noodle. They have much better duck and better tasting dishes!
