Shit service. The employees have Attitude that makes customers want to leave, and they gave us a completely wrong dish that we ordered.

They always run out of bagels and their coffee is not always hot. Seriously the last four times I have been here, they have been out of everything bagels, but they always have multi-grain bagels sitting there. I asked them why this is and they said they make the same amount of each bagel every morning and that is it. The General Manager of this location does not understand how to run a business. Do you mean to tell me the logic of making sure you sell each and every item you make is the best way to maximize your profits? I beg to differ. Making sure your customers have what they want when they order it will ensure they come back and spend $ 20 at your establishment again and again and again. But if you would rather throw all that repeat business away to save a dollar or two on product and labor cost, that just makes way more sense I guess.

Amazing food and amazing staff. I frequent this place at least once a week and am always happy with the service and quality. Thanks to Troy who helped me out tonight!

I would not want to come back here. I ordered their panini combo set and I was very disappointed. The price is too high for the amount of food that they served. The panini is like for small kids. its very small size and the salad is small serving as well. Other branch that I been to I have no complains. Only good thing I can say about my first and would be my last to eat here again is the employees are very nice: friendly …

The only reason I don’t drive to the one across town is Troy. He always takes good care of his customers! He is by far their best asset! The food is good when the consistency is there.

Sad to say that I will never have breakfast here again. Not only did they get my order wrong the food was cold. Ordered the Anaheim Scramble but was brought(and apparently rung up at the register) an Anaheim Panini. Breakfast potatoes were cold and tiny portion. The panini was cold too. My wife said her potatoes were cold and so was the toast. She did say her scrambled eggs were cooked nicely but had the same opinion I had: lunch here is okay, breakfast is not.

I enjoy going to Corner Bakery. My boyfriend and I typically come here at least once a week to have brunch. We’ve had fairly consistent service, except for one time where it looked as if a war had torn through the store. Had that been my first visit, I don’t think I would have ever gone back. Luckily, we knew this was an anomaly as they tend to have great service. The truffle mocha is to die for as well as the monster cookie. So freaking good. If you love chocolate and would spend all your days eating nothing but chocolate, you need the truffle mocha. Daily. I like the mozzarella tomato sandwich and typically order that. My boyfriend orders randomly whether it’s pancakes or a turkey sandwich. He’s always happy with his food, as am I.

Always enjoy coming to corner bakery. Nice seating. Good coffee. Friendly service. Had the steak hoagie and turkey gobbler.

These girls need to wake up and«listen» to customers when they are given an order to be placed. All I deal with is incompetence and laziness here at this location. Too bad because the food is good.

Not a good day for the food. I ordered the scrambled omelette and a pumpkin latte coffee. The café was not busy and only a few customers were present. My girlfriend ordered the steel cut oatmeal along with side dishes of raisins nuts and fruits. It took about 15 to 20 minutes just for the coffee to arrive then when the food was brought. the oatmeal was cold and the scrambled omelette was lukewarm and contained a dime size eggshell. Because we were hungry we decided not to complain and eat the lukewarm meal. after a few minutes the help came by and asked us if everything was okay. I reluctantly told the waiter at the food was cold and that the cook could have his eggshell back. The waiter apologized and informed us that the eggshell was the corporation’s fault because they don’t crack their fresh eggs they are provided by corporate. As compensation for our meal the waiter provided us with 2 free muffins in a take-home container. Several months ago prior to the opening of this establishment we were shued away by a manager who told us we could go to the other bakery café nearby because they were not open. It surprised me at the time because it appeared that the front door of the business was open and I was excited to try out this new establishment. Maybe I should have tried the other location.

I ordered the Buttermilk Pancakes & Eggs plate. I love this plate and it was no different today, just delectable as always! You can have the pancakes made with blueberries or chocolate chips. I ordered the blueberry version this morning, my pancakes were light and fluffy, melted in my mouth. Corner bakery has the best hot cakes in town, no joke! Come here for the breakfast of champions at a very affordable price. My entire breakfast and the delicious mocha frappé together was only $ 10 and the portion is huge!

Tried this for the first time yesterday on my way to work and it was amazing. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwhich with a side of caesar salad online and it was ready when i got there. I was so impressed with how clean and big the resturant was and the girl who checked me out was super sweet. Will make this a regular stop just wish it wasnt so pricey.

We passed this place last week and it was closed during the middle of the day. I thought it had gone out of business. Today it appears to be open again. We’ve visited multiple times for breakfast and find that the food is lukewarm. Other posters mention the same. It’s not that the food isn’t good tasting, but it’s never hot. The bakery products are hit and miss. Several times I purchased a dozen small cupcakes and found that some were fresh and delicious and some were stale. :(

We had take out this time but have eaten several time inside and had a very good experience with the food, the booths were quite dirty on previous visits(that’s the purpose for 4 Stars) however the food has been very good every time! We love the chopped salad without the cheese. The pesto cavatappi is bomb and the chicken pesto sandwich is fantastic !

I have eaten at other corner bakeries and have loved it but this one in Temecula is very disappointing. I gave this place 2 stars because: –booths were dirty when we were trying to seat ourselves and had to ask one of the girls to clean –seats were dirty as well as the floor being sticky. Not aesthetically pleasing. –15min to receive our food and it was cold. I ordered the Anaheim panini and it was disappointing. –The picture looked more delicious than what I was served. –I had more cheese than I did bacon bits, along with cold eggs. I do like their pastries and desserts but I’m not sure if I will be getting food from here again. Especially not dining in.

First time at Corner Bakery. We ended up coming here by chance. We ordered a little bit of everything from the bakery to sample out some of the baked yummies. The Mac and Cheese: it was just okay, we would not order it again though. It needed more cheese sauce, because the noodles were dry tasting. The dish itself had a good flavor, but needed more cheese. I could have made Velveeta mac and cheese at home and it would have been a zillion times better. 2 White Mocha Hot Chocolates: were very good. Loved how sweet and smooth it went down. Comparable to Starbucks mocha. 1 Caramel Frap: it was just okay. Nothing special. Chocolate brownie: it was really good. Very moist and had a fudgey like consistency. Lemon pie: a lemon powerhouse!!! Very creamy and rich. One bite is more than enough to get your lemon fix on. Lemon square: this was extremely disappointing. Store bought, and homemade lemon squares top this any day. Blueberry/Boysenberry pie: kind of bland filling. The crust and icing were good, but the berry filling had no flavor. Sugar cookie: it was very dry/stale. Tasted like it was from yesterday, 2 Salted Caramel Cupcakes: one cupcake was really good, and the other one was stale. Overall, everything seemed to be decent, with the exception of the couple of items that were dry and stale. I don’t think we would go back. The good items could be found elsewhere or made at home and been great. For $ 40 we would much rather go somewhere that has better quality food. The restaurant was nice inside, clean, and staff was very friendly, but food was not up to par.

I’ve been here twice since my last review. Unfortunately, I haven’t been too impressed with the quality of food, especially for the prices they charge($ 9 for a half-sandwich and soup combo). The service is okay. Maybe it’s where I’m sitting, but each time I’ve been here, I’ve had to ask them to take my plate away. For drinks, I still stand by the Orange Ginger Carrot smoothie if you’re looking for a unique refreshing drink. The truffle mocha is way to sweet to the point where I couldn’t continue drinking it. If you’re looking for a good vegetarian option, try the California Grille, which comes with grilled zucchini, marinated artichoke hearts, roasted tomatoes, spinach, pesto and provolone cheese. I do like how they are open until 10PM, so if I need a place to study, it’s on the list.

Ok so wanted to try this place for a while and have to say not too impressed it was similar to Panera(which I’m not too fond of) but more bland. I got a steak sandwich which tasted more like pot roast and wasn’t all that hot with what looked like cheeze whiz on it. I did however like the dipping sauce which I’m not sure what it was maybe a mix of a marinara/BBQ? Sandwiches are about $ 8 — 9 which is about $ 3 too much for what you get IMO. The place was clean and nice inside just not really something I would crave or come back for. Just my take your mileage may vary.

In a town of such upscale luxury where you can choose between two — yes two! — Corner Bakery Cafes, which one is the«good one»? To make this paralyzing decision for the internet, it was clear I had to eat here a few times instead of destroying my own kitchen with dirty dishes and food splatter. I can confidently say that *this* one is the good one. Actually I don’t know. The southern Temecula location is a few weeks newer and more conveniently located — and doesn’t require navigating the 16 stop lights on ring road that encircles the mall. The Corner Bakery Café is gorgeous inside. It has real fresh flowers. It has exposed brick walls(ignore that we know nothing here is built with red bricks). It has subway tiles! It has little baked treats behind glass! It also has *celebrities* — there was a visit from the actor who plays Hank on Breaking Bad. Which didn’t impress my friend who was all«you know, he lives locally» but argh, I did not know that. It still counts. As far as the food goes, I’ve been eavesdropping and asking my dining companions. It’s all generally enthusiastic but not earth-shattering praise. Except for the black currant iced tea, which is now my favorite iced tea(everyone agrees it I s wonderful!). Of what I’ve had, I like their Chopped Cobb, which(if you specify no dressing) is an exact twin of the one at the Cheesecake Factory. Big warning here: this is a Cobb that gets the Italian dressing(technically, I think the Italian dressing is the authentic choice but creamy dressings are so much better). The food is nice — it’s a fancier lunch with some gourmet touches and more attention to higher quality ingredients than a typical chain, but it’s not intended to be unique or revolutionary fare either. You still pay at the front and fill up your own drink cup. What makes this place four stars? The people. Everyone is a darling. I just stopped in for another black currant iced tea, and the peach at the register fished out 26 cents from behind the counter to give me back a dollar bill instead of a pile of coins. I didn’t even ask, she just did it happily. This is why I love Temecula.
