After I had ordered, they informed me they don’t have what I had initially ordered after I had paid for my meal. They asked what else would I like instead. There was a price difference between 2 items, which I was not offer to get my change back nor they even bother to mention. I also see employees making stank faces and eating and drinking while prepping food orders. Food itself is nothing to write about except disappointed.

Wow… Cosi’s has gone downhill. No more ice tea by the soda machine… now you have to special order for the counter to prepare like Starbucks for more money. Wanted to order a sandwich and they said they ran out of 4 of the ingredients. Soda machine… out of order for 3 of the sodas .hmmm.

This is a great place for lunch. It is clean and their staff is very welcoming. Their food is great. We love the sandwiches and soups!

So, I’ll start by saying that they need to hire new staff that actually cares about this business. Food was ordinary. Service was BAD. Manager did nothing to help as customers were waiting. They were slow and had no need for a wait. Cashier was just lost and was getting buried, and no one helped her. Phone ringing, oatmeal overflowing in the microwave(yes, microwave), customers waiting for food, customers waiting to order and she was still forgetting drinks and food we ordered. She apologized, but really she was in over her head. Watching this all unfold(and as a former restaurant manager) it seemed like everyone was in slow motion. We won’t return and I’m surprised they’ve been in business for so long.

I am a frequent visitor to this location for years now and I love it. If you want a good sized portion of salad this is really the only place to get one. The Caesar is great and so is the Greek salad. I’m a sucker for bread and their flatbread is my weakness, both rustic and multi grain. I get treated pretty well every time I pay a visit, since most people there know me. Is this the best place on earth for sandwiches and salads? No. But for me it hits the spot every time and it doesn’t disappoint. Free wifi and a mellow chill vibe is also a plus. This place to me is like Starbucks that you can eat a meal at.

I used to really like this place, but last time I went in there none of the three people behind the counter gave so much as a greeting while I stood in front of the register for five minutes.

So dissapointed. This used to be one of our favorites. Last time I tried going there they were closed during their regular business hours. No sign or explanation, just dark. This time we stood at the counter long enough for my son to use the restroom, wash his hands and come back and not only did no one help us, no one even acknowledged us. No hello, no «be right with you».Totally ignored by the 3 people behind the counter. We finally just left.

We visited this Cosi location because(a) I have enjoyed my experience at Cosi in Illinois and(b) my family out here had not visited a Cosi location. We were so grossly disappointed that we were refunded our money and left after THIRTYMINUTES of waiting for food. There was not one specific«thing» that caused our experience to be so negative, but a combination of the staff, atmosphere of the location and(lack of) food. Staff: When we arrived, we were«greeted» by Denise, who turned out to be the shift manager during the lunch hour of our visit. She was not very friendly when we arrived, and had a «move along» type of attitude when answering our questions. For example, when I asked if there was a kids menu, she quickly rattled off the 6 or 8 items so fast that I had to ask her to repeat them and slow down. There was also a list at the very front of the register noting that 8 or 9 items(apparently the new ones?) were not ready for one reason or another. I asked if a specific salad that my husband wanted was available, and she said yes. She seemed to dismiss the list in front of her register and didn’t have an explanation as to why those things were listed in the first place. Denise’s attitude during the whole interaction was very rude and condescending, and seemed to set the tone for the entire time that we were there. Atmosphere: The atmosphere of the restaurant itself seemed disarrayed. We put tables together for our party of 7, however it seemed that the other tables around were haphazardly placed, as if a server had not come around in a LONG time to rearrange the space. I do also note the atmosphere becuase, as we waited our 30 minutes, there were at least two tables that had ordered before us who had also not gotten their food yet. In my opinion, a quick service restaurant should not have to wait more than 15 – 20 minutes for food to arrive. Food: As I said, we were very disappointed for the lack of communication on our food. I checked on the food after 30 minutes of waiting(with 2 toddlers and a teenager), and asked how much longer for our food. Unfortunately Denise was not able to even tell us how long it would take. Her explanation on the delay of our food was that there were catering orders that the staff of four was working on. Seeing that she was unable to tell us even a time frame of our food, and the fact that I was not the only one waiting at the counter for either food or a refund, I asked for a refund for the order. Although I paid with credit card, Denise was unable to refund the credit card because she was not trained on how to refund one. She instead, gave me cash back. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with our experience here at Cosi. This is extremely disheartening because I’ve had nothing but positive experiences at locations in Illinois.

Ordered Hummus sandwich and the only thing I received was bread with tomatoes and cucumber it was like they forgot the hummus. Bathroom is disgusting… Looked like a bathroom from a third world country. My husbands salad had little to no dressing and looked gross. Will not be returning.

Have been here many times, but may not go back. There were out of everything, and I mean everything, from cheeses, types of sodas, ice, soup, fresh produce ingredients and several sauces. Funny thing is they didn’t tell us about some of the things there were out of until we got our food minus some of the ingredients. It was like the twilight zone… No one on the place knew anything about anything and no one cared to help the customers. I got the impression this place was going under and they’ve stopped ordering and stocking items. Maybe no one cared about service because they know they are circling the drain? Horrible experience, very different from prior visits and disappointing.

Today’s trip to Cosi was extremely disappointing. I called my entire order in about 10 minutes before showing up. Very simple order: pesto chicken melt, T.B.M cold, and a full sized signature salad. I got there and after telling her I called in my order, she asks what kind of cheese I want on my TBM… the ‘M’ stands for mozzarella… so I looked at her confused ANDTHEN she decides to tell me they are out of mozzarella. I told her that’s really the only reason I came there so I needed another minute to figure out what other sandwich to get. I got no apology and no offering of anything for the inconvenience. Then after waiting another 10 minutes for my order to be completed, I get the order and the salad doesn’t look like a full size(she said it was), and my TBM(provolone instead of the mozzarella I wanted) was hot, instead of cold like I specifically ordered. I politely asked them to remake a cold one for me. Upon getting home with the food, I didn’t even have to say anything and my boyfriend also noticed the salad was smaller than normal. It was also missing pears, which are clearly in the description. Not only that, but when you order two full sandwiches, you’re supposed to get chips or carrots with each order. We got one bag of chips total. And they normally include an extra piece of bread with your salad. Those are small complaints that I wouldn’t care about if they hadn’t screwed up the rest of my very simple order. I love cosi, they’ve never disappointed me before and their TBM is one of my favorite things to eat anywhere. But this experience has totally tainted my whole view on Cosi.

Ive never had an issue here at Cosi. I was surprised to find out that they close at 7pm on Friday nights now but then again its always fairly slow when I come in here to dine. I stick with the chicken melts. Parmesan and basil are my faves. Sometimes their made a bit dry, so you may want to ask for extra sauce. I like mine on the rustic bread with chips. They also offer a honey vanilla steamer which is very tasty. The cashiers are usually fast and friendly. The prices are fair for what you get, and overall its a great fast meal that I would recommend for lunch or a light dinnner if you’re a heifer like me and need large meals instead.

We have visited the Cosi restaurant in Temecula 3 times. The first time my partner had their Korean BBQ bowl, which was delicious. The second time we visited, we were told they could not make the Korean bowl – because they were out of quinoa! We dropped by again on Saturday and tried to order two bowls. We were told they were out of rice! Unbelievable! We simply turned around and left – never to return either. How can a restaurant run out of a basic staple? They must have the poorest management possible – that’s all we know. Running out of quinoa or rice is simply inexcusable. IF you plan that poorly that you didn’t order enough quinoa or rice – the least you can do is go to one of the LOCAL stores and BUY that item. How stupid of them! So our suggestion – choose one of the many dependable food establishments in the area – where you won’t be disappointed. Not sure if they are a franchise, but we plan to write the Cosi headquarters next to let them know how poorly managed this location is.

I have been to Cosi a number of times. They have put their own spin on the Panera Bread /Corner Bakery model. Cosi has made this model their own by offering their own flatbread sandwiches and adding pizza to their menu. Their flatbread is good; however, I feel some of their salads, sandwiches and flatbread pizza options are lacking. With that said, I haven’t had anything at Cosi that was bad, but along that same vein I haven’t had anything over the top good either. For this reason Cosi earned a 3 star, «A-Ok» review from me.

Have liked going to this place every now and then for the past few years. Out of all the soup/salad/sandwich chain cafes, I preferred going to Cosi and ordering the half portion combos for their Signature Salad and sandwiches. The bread, whether Rustic or Whole Grain, is good and sometimes offered in samples when you walk in. However, while bread is included with salads on the dining menu, this location doesn’t include the bread in salad catering orders, even if it is written on the catering menu. I’ve been told different things by different employees. The last time I was in to pick up an order, I asked about it and when the employee asked a manager across the room, she dismissively denied the request without any interest in me pointing out what’s written on the menu at the register. If they want to ignore the corporate-printed material and charge extra for the bread, fine, but to spare any confusion, the story among the staff should be consistent and the store menus should be reprinted to reflect it. The careless attitude shown here keeps me from being a future patron and from fully recommending Cosi Temcula.

I was really disappointed with my visit today. They’re usually pretty quick and the food is usually pretty good. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for two sandwiches today and the quality was off. The bread didn’t seem as fresh as before and it just seemed like something was missing. The girl that took our order did warn us that it would be 10 min or so for our food, but it was closer to 20 minutes. I’m not sure if they were short help today or if it was a newer staff, but they missed the mark today. Definitely not worth the wait. I feel like two stars is deserved due to the long wait and less than average food today. I hope they can get back on track.

Came in wanting a simple breakfast. When I came in I was surprised on how low the prices are. Then I was thinking I would probably get a small breakfast sandwich. But when my order came I was very satisfied on the size and how good it was.

This place reminds me a lot of Panera Bread, but their options are a bit less than Panera. I met up with my girlfriends here for lunch before going to the movies down the street. I got the pesto chicken sandwich and it was good, not bad at all. I went with a side of chips but I guess you can get soup or salad too. I saw a few flat bread options I wanted to get but saw that the type of flat breads they had were just two so I opted out on that. They have some pretty drink options as well. Nice little stop in the plaza for a quick bite.

After a morning of wine tasting, we needed to go somewhere to eat a cheap but filling meal. I found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. The place is spacious and they offer free wifi, so it could be an ideal place to go to get work done while you’re eating. I ordered the Turkey & Brie sandwich, and it was delicious! The bread was nicely toasted, and the brie added a nice flavor to the sandwich – this was not a typical turkey sandwich! Thinking about it is actually making me hungry right now. My fiancé and his dad like their food as well. This is a great place to stop by for a quick bite that’s cheap and filling. I wouldn’t mind coming back again to try out other items on the menu.

Having a hard time justifying coming back here when they’re so inconsistent. First time I was here, everything was great. The last three times I’ve been here, I feel like im chasing the dragon. Flat bread pizza has been one of the most inconsistent items. One day the bread is soft, fresh, and cooked to perfection… and the other days feel like I’m getting the hardest oldest left out for three days flat bread. The fact that we could not physically bite through the crust on half the flat bread didn’t help. All the while the other half was soggy and nasty on the bottom. Bummed because I really loved all that fresh basil and tomato on my pizza. Oh well, I guess I don’t need to be eating pizza anyway. I look at it this way, they’re doing me a favor by making it nasty. :)
