When I first found DSC online I was skeptical… Their prices ranged from 200 to 2000 below the other quotes in my area(Patterson, California) and I prefer to stay local, but were both in California so I made an exception. Desperate to save money, as most start-ups are, I took a shot and bought a copier from DSC without seeing or using it first. It’s now been three months, and just the ink savings alone has paid for my new system. David and his staff actually convinced me to go for a smaller model then what I originally considered, moving me from a black and white Ricoh priced at 2600 to a Canon, which came in under 600.00, with no shipping. I did pay additional for ink. My copier did show up a bit behind when I thought I should have it, but when I called DSC offices, they called canon for me, and had an updated status for me within about an hour. It showed up right when they said it would. I love my copy machine. Me and my staff literally had an unboxing event like Christmas. It took me almost 3 days to get the hang of it(I’m not a computer savvy when it comes to printers), it’s so dang fancy, but now I feel I am truly able to offer my customers great service with crisp contracts free of smudges and blots. I was able to implement a programmed IP that works with my Router, without having to «Reconfigure IP» This is what causes things to not work for an hour, and suddenly start vomiting from the machine. Please see attached picture of me and printer, I’m not sure which of us is more handsome, but I’m not ashamed to admit I have a bit of toner on my hands.

Vengeful company. They cancelled our copy contract because I wrote a bad Unilocal review. But they did not cancel right away. They waited 7 month later when we called for service then told us the contract was cancelled. They were happy to take our money but never had any intention of honoring the copy contract. But the contract was HORRIBLE anyway. They charged 1.5 cents a copy. The rep said we should use a low estimate of our annual usage for the number of copies prepaid on the contract since overages are charged at the same rate. Using a lower copy count made sure we pay for too many copies on the prepaid contract. So we paid $ 600 fixed amount plus $ 500/year for going over the contract. The problem is their contract stated if the total cost of repair was more than the contract price then the contract is void and the repair is not done. And since they pushed the low contract fixed price, they would cancel if repairs were over $ 600 not $ 1100 that we actually paid. Sneaky. If they had a policy that the customer is always right they would not lose so much business due to all these bad reviews.

buyer beware. don’t just take my advice, go online to other search engines and see how this company dupes people into buying what they want to sell and not what the buyer wants. then they don’t support their products. they don’t respond when they say they will or when i disputed my purchase with mastercard, they lied and i have proof of emails etc. but they didn’t seem to care. once they get your money, you don’t have any means to get support or your money back. i guess that’s why they have buyers sign an agreement up front that says you waive all rights to get the price they offer. turns out they are not authorized by the kyocera factory as the factory is now trying to help solve my problem of my unit not working since day one. if you think you’re getting a good deal, you’ll be very disappointed. the owner is not as nice as he comes across when he wants your business.
