Dirty Paws Grooming Spa

Very impressed with this salon! They are professional, quick and did an outstanding job grooming my super anxious Maltese. Brittney — Big hugs to you for also calming my nerves and making Jack look representable again. I highly recommend!

This place does a good job and my dog is always happy coming and going. I think I’ll ask for a little extra time from brushing my shedding yellow lab next time.

We always take our dogs here and are happy every time! They are so dedicated to their job! One of our dogs is 14 and the other is tempermental– so I worry when I drop them off but there’s no need to worry because they are always so well taken care of!

Kristen is the best! I am always worried about taking my Kittyman to get groomed as he has asthma and gets stressed out extremely easy. Kristen is one of the few people who I know loves animals as much as myself and always feel more than comfortable when Kittyman is under her care. He was even purring and kneading through parts of him groom he was so calm and happy, not to mention he looks AWESOME! There are nothing but true animal lovers here so you know your pet will always be receiving the best treatment possible.

We love Dirty Paws! They are fantastic groomers, and most importantly, they love their furry clients. My dog actually enjoys her time there, and usually makes a few new pack pals while waiting for me to come pick her up.
Also, today when I went to pick up my pup, it was raining really hard, and one of the gals working offered to help another customer carry her dog to the car, without the customer even asking. She carried the big dog out in the rain, all on her own, out of the kindness of her heart.

These gals do a fantastic job grooming my two chow-​chows Sunshine and Rusty and most people know that chows can be a challenge. They always do a great job with their cuts, they usually get the lion cut. They do a great job with the baths and nail trimming like we did today and the dogs’ hair is full length! I can only imagine all the work it took to get them shiny, clean and all combed out. I have been going to Dirty Paws for about two years and they are always friendly and they’ve done a great job each and every time. I even forgot my appointment time this morning so I called at 830 am, left a message and they called me back at 900 am to tell me my appointment was at 1 pm. Like I said, always friendly and they do a fantastic job.

Saw this place on Unilocal and it is by far the best grooming salon in town! Our Bella looks beautiful and the ladies there were so sweet and attentive. We will certainly bring our pooch back!

I was able to bring my 2 year old miniature labradoodle, Bentley, in for a full groom the same day I called! He was unfortunately pretty matted after playing in the sprinklers one too many times. Brittany was so great with him and made me feel comfortable about the shorter cut while keeping his face longer, which I think is necessary because it gives him character! He looks and smells SO great, a very natural smelling clean. She also threw in a free tooth brushing! I have always had trouble finding a groomer who properly trims around his eyes and Brittany did an excellent job. The groom from top to bottom is the best Bentley has ever had, hands down. I really couldn’t be happier, we’ll be back for sure!

Great place. Have 2 dogs and 1 is very small. They take there time and are very gentle with our small one.

Dirty Paws makes my dogs look great. They always come out looking so nice and soft. 25 to wash and dry Palmarians definitely worth it.

I was a apprehensive about taking my senior beagle to a new grooming’s facility. I try to clip his nails myself but I am too worried I might hurt I brought Cisco to dirty paws grooming spa. And we were greeted by a very friendly staff and I immediately felt comfortable enough to leave Cisco for a bath. When I return to pick him up, he was so clean and fluffy and smelled wonderful.
But most importantly he was calm and happy and had a little spring in his step! An overall fantastic experience. I will definitely be back!

I went in to check it out and get my dog’s nails clipped. He only needed a tiny clip on his front paws and there was no charge! The place is clean and friendly and I’ll go back soon for grooming. I’ve already recommended!

Their grooming services are average. Overpriced, but no major qualms. Why the one-​star review? When my family picked up our chow, the attendants’ once-​cheerful and polite demeanor was gone. They gave us a stone-​cold look as we paid the bill and took our beloved chow out the door.
The next day, we received a notice from the local animal control. It turns out the employees at Dirty Paws reported us to an animal control officer with charges of animal abuse due to matted fur. Firstly, this was a gross exaggeration. Our dog’s fur was only slightly matted, and ironically, that is one of the reasons we took her to Dirty Paws. Their claim has no grounds. An officer from the local animal control came to our home the following day and found no signs of animal abuse or any of the accusations made by Dirty Paws. The claim was dismissed.
Secondly and more importantly, I am disappointed that the employees at Dirty Paws did not raise any concerns to me when I picked up our dog. Instead, they stared me down and said not a word as they plotted to report me to animal services.
Dirty Paws’ failure to discuss their concerns with me — and instead report me to animal control for animal abuse — is extremely unprofessional. My family has owned pets in this city for four decades and never once have we treated them poorly. I am saddened that there are companies today that are capable of such back-​handed behavior. I hope no other pet-​owners and pet-​lovers ever have to go through this experience.
As a former small business owner myself, I can attest that this is not a good business practice. Being truthful and forward with your customers will go a long way.
Rest assured, I will NOT be returning to Dirty Paws.
UPDATE: in a comment below, the business owner dismisses my claims as false. Not sure whether she assumes I have a personal vendetta against this company or I simply enjoy writing long fake reviews in my spare time.

I was referred by my brother to this place. I went to a girl named Kristen, she was extremely friendly very polite. I picked my dogs up looking brand new and happier than ever.
I will refer all my family and friends here!

I can see why there are so many great reviews of this pet salon. The owner did my three dogs who really needed a bath and nail trim. I can never trim their nails. My dogs pull back and cry like I’m doing something horrible to them, so their nails were way too long. They were trimmed to just the right length.
Deborah took great care of my dogs, especially one who has had back surgery twice now and she needs special attention. Their coats were so shiny and clean and they smelled great! I have tried many mobile groomers, but they are either horrible/​overpriced or they flake out on you. I wish they were closer than Temecula, but it’s worth the trip from Menifee with the dogs in the car for the trust and care they show my babies.

Love love love this place! The employees are awesome and are always so friendly! I love the way the treat my boxer Opie and you can tell they really love each animal that comes in.
They even helped me out when I needed to find a place to get my dog neutered!
This place is the only place I will take my dog!

I have searched for a cat groomer for AGES! I’m so happy I finally found the perfect place. The groomer did an excellent job and was really attentive to my cat’s needs. The prices are very reasonable compared to other salons. The staff is very friendly, they shower the animals with love and sweetness. I’ll be taking my cat back every summer for sure! :)

Only place who I called (local) and booked me immediately. Luckily they had an opening so I rushed over. Extremely friendly place… The moment my baby walked in they showered him with love and kisses. He needed a serious trim for a week long trip. I told her what I wanted and he came out looking exactly how I envisioned. His grooming and cut was $ 45 (you get exactly what you want). It’s a little out of the way if you live in Murrieta and its location is right by the highway in a small plaza. Certainly worth the miles. They charge $ 1.00 for debit or credit card use and if you are late a $ 20 late fee (but they call you ahead of time). Also, they have spa add on and different services etc. Parking is limited since its in between 2 restaurants a pizza place and Thai food. Anyways… Give it a try. Call ahead.

I took my pittie in for a quick nail trim, and my tea cup poodle was a mangy mess so he got the whole spa package… with the extra itchy package for his dry skin
Both of their nails were perfectly cut, neither of them complained about their paws
And Spanky/​spanks {poodle} came out feeling so clean and happy, you could tell… I was especially worried since he is elderly, but they definitely handled the little one with care :)
From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable leaving my babies with them anytime… cant wait till the bf sees how clean his little guy is, with the cutest bear haircut!!!
