2÷2÷2016 ordered food with my son who is disabled. My son got interrogated by the older women who is the cashier. She asked him the following questions about his disability/disposition, such as do you work? Do you get welfare? Do you have a girlfriend? How do you make money? Do you get med-cal? Do you live with your mommy? How demoralizing for my son to witness. He stood there with a tear in his eye. My son is 35 years old. My son and I were appalled. She has no right to ask such personal questions. She is a SERVER! Who are you to talk to my son like this? This is defamation of character of my son. My son who has permanent frontal brain damage at birth has a severe disability. He lives with me, I am his mother and I have taken care of him for 35 years. Who is this righteous older Asian cashier to interrogate your customers, my son, and to make him feel inadequate? When we came home and he told me he left very sad. He asked me why the old lady at dragon express was so mean to him and asked so many questions. All I could say is she is IGNORANT and STUPID!!! Who ever owns this establishment you need to FIRE this server she is a ignorant employee. If you keep her you need to TRAIN your employees to stick to serving food and stop asking personal questions!!! If not, lets start talking talking about a LAWSUIT! What you have done is illegal against the Disability Act of California and if it happens again I will see you in court! Shame on you. We like your food but we will NEVERCOMEBACK!!!

I really like this place, the food is good and great portion size, the people that work there are very nice. I go at lunch during work and some times pick up after work for the fam. the style is similar to Panda Express, with the food pre-made and in serving dishes. The restaurant defiantly has NO ambiance so do not take a date here, but great for a quick lunch or take-out.

Our go to for Chinese take out now, the family is very sweet and personable. I love the Kung pao ! The Mongolian could use a little beefing up, husband is picky about it ! I love the fresh food, the overwhelming amounts of food you get. I love the cream cheese wontons, the honey chicken is great as well. Definitely try them out :)

I want to start off with the people who works here are very friendly and very personable. I don’t like writing bad reviews unless it’s warranted. I gave them a 2 because there’s room for improvement. I ate here for the first time just the other day. The food was delicious and a very hefty amount. There was so much, that I took it home and put it in the fridge. A few hours passed and I decided to eat it for dinner. During the evening I felt stomach cramps but didn’t think anything of it. The following day I woke up with stomach cramps but worst! Throughout the day I was hunched over in agonizing pain. I couldn’t eat, I had cold sweats, and stomach cramping. Yes!!! I had food poisoning. I’m so bummed because like I said the people who works there was so friendly, a great helping of food, & was very tasty. So if you decide to get some food here try going when they first open or when they put the food out fresh.

I ordered a 3 item to go for lunch with Orange/Honey/Mandarin chicken– disappointed! It was stale like it had been out for a while, the cuts of chicken were all dark meat and not tasty, and the honey and orange chicken had a crunch to it– not the good crunch either. I felt like on top of it all it was too greasy and I wish I had chose to eat somewhere else– I kinda just finished it to know I ate lunch, but didn’t enjoy it. We’ve ordered here once before and it wasn’t as bad, thought it would be fresher this time but it was a bust. 2 stars are for the server being nice and friendly! :)

Hadn’t been here in a few years & was craving Chinese food(but didn’t want to «go out» to eat). Their combination plates are reasonably priced and surprisingly fresh. It’s not a «date night» kinda place, but it is great for a quick pick up «to go» place. I prefer Dragon Express over Panda Express any day(and a far better value) — their two item combo is 3 meals for me. They’ve been open for as long as I can remember, which speaks volumes considering how many places have closed down locally.

Hands down the best Chinese place in the area. The portions are very generous and the server is excellent. I live down in SD but whenever I am in the area, I make sure I stop by. My favorite things are the orange chicken as well as the cream cheese wontons. The wontons are a must try here! Even if you take them home and save them for later, they are still excellent. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat.

I don’t understand how anyone can say the food here is good. The portions are generous and cheap. BUT that doesn’t matter because the food is yucky. I ordered beef broccoli, chicken mushroom, chow mein and fried rice. All of it was inedible – the meats tasted very old and dishes itself were bland. Worst chinese food I’ve ever had.

We have been eating here since the mid 90’s, their food is always fantastic and we always have leftovers. The owners are wonderful people who are always friendly and actually care about their clients.

If you’re hungry and want a ton of food, this is the place to go. Dragon Express is not the best Chinese take out in town but it gets the job done. You can order a two item plate for 7 dollars and have leftovers for two days depending on how much you eat. They really hook you up with quantity here. With that being said, the quality is just average. The food is heavily fried. The honey chicken is one of my faves here but this last time I had it I really couldn’t taste any chicken. It was basically crispy batter and sauce. The same goes for the Orange chicken. What usually never dissapoints me here are the cream cheese wontons. Mmmm. Its just cream cheese inside a fried wonton with sweet and sour dipping sauce on the side. Perfect!

Food is ok but the people are not very friendly. I asked for an extra plate and hot sauce and they tried charging me for it. They are too stingy.

Food isn’t good. First and last time going there. Food is dry with no favor. If you want large positions of bad food, visit this restaurant.

Came in at 4pm on a Thursday. I started to order and then took one look at the mandarin chicken. I asked the lady if they had any fresh chicken coming out and she said not right now and then stared at me. I told her I would pass and she just continued to stare at me so I walked out.

This is seriously the best Chinese food place around! I’ve been coming here for a few years and I’ve never had a bad plate of food. The ladies who run the front are very sweet and always great you with a smile! I would most definitely recommend Dragon Express! Kung poa chicken is the best and their egg foo yung is amazing! :)

Dragon Express is the worst possible restaurant I’ve ever been to. I ordered 20 $ worth of food and everything was disgusting after first bite. So I asked the lady if I can get a refund or exchange my items. She gave me a refund for shrimp fried rice after she smelled the tray where they put the shrimp. And I asked her if I can just get chow mein and orange chicken because she didn’t wanna give me a refund and gave me the worst attitude. Asking me if I’m serious and talking shit in her language. Dumps out my 2 other entrée items. Used the same tray and just added more noodles. Nothing tasted good at all. No flavor, lack of seasoning. Only thing good there was the water –_– never going back. Didn’t even wash her hands after giving me my money back and then went back to serving the food. –_– I wish I could give zero stars.
