Great beer and pizza! We had the hatch chile IPA and the mango hefeweizen. Both are delicious. Their pizza sauce is also incredibly tasty. I would say the best thing about this place, though, is the people who run it. Everyone was so friendly. We asked about other places to go in the area and the owner was kind enough to take the time to write down recommendations for us! So sweet. We would definitely come back.

Alexi and Tressa where amazing bartenders and the rest of the staff was great. The only complaint I have is that the Manager Mark was not a big help with the staff. All I noticed was that her stood around and watched tv. Help out your employees, you are the manager.

Up until today, my wife and I were pretty regular customers of the Garage Brewing company. We would often bring other family members and introduce our friends to their great custom built fire cooked crispy pizzas. I’ve been on a strict diet over the last couple of months and decided to go «splurge a little and go out for dinner at the Garage Brewing Company. I asked for the«Garage Deal» which includes a tiny salad which adds $ 3.00 to the cost of the pizza. I’ve always thought it was a bit expensive for the salad, but that’s what they charged so I didn’t really think twice about it. Today, I asked to have the dressing on the side. Guess what? That’s 50 cents extra… I know that 50 cents isn’t a big deal. But, come on… 50 cents to put dressing on the side… So we asked the manager about it. He said it was the company’s policy and there was nothing he could do about it. He gave us a card and told us to go on the website and we can email the owner directly. We sat at our table, I went on my phone and there was no way to contact them by email on the website. I showed the manager and he was puzzled and gave me a pad of paper to write a comment that he promised would go on the owner’s desk. I didn’t really want to write what I thought about the lack of service the manager was providing because I was going to hand it to him to supposedly put on the owners desk… but I did ask the owner to call me so I could speak to him about this manager. Later a worker came to take our plates and we asked if we were to ask for dressing on the side to dip our pizza in would they charge us and we were told«No». When I returned the pen, pad and my note to the manager I asked him about this and he confirmed that it would be free. I asked him what the difference was if it was for the pizza or the salad and he told me it was just the rules. Then he asked me if I stuck to the rules where I work. I told him when it comes to a customer I will do pretty much whatever the customer asks… He shrugged his shoulders and said have a good night and walked away. Over 50 cents… they lost a $ 3.00 salad sale, they dumped the salad I had put together before I was told it would be extra for the side of dressing, they got this review on Unilocal and lost a regular customer. Bottom line, it’s not about the 50 cents at all, it’s about how a customer was treated when questioning a simple policy.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and that fact that you could throw your own pizza together. My favorite are the flights so I can try all the beers.

I took my family & friends there this past weekend & waited in line to order, when it was our turn«Britney» asked my husband for the order very rudely«are you gonna order pizza, or what?» My husband is not rude at all & just ignored it & since we had some friends & family with us I just left it alone & didn’t complain to the manager. But since I’m a regular at this place & didn’t appreciate that kind of customer service I just decided to Unilocal it. Aside from this bad service I got to say the pizza is delicious, I love the mango beer & the rest of the staff is super friendly.

This place is amazing. Wish we had one in Sacramento. Beer is extra good. I had the Marshmallow Milk Stout. Create your own pizza and they cook it up for you on the spot Always stop here when I’m in the area.

This is one of our go to spots. I LOVE that I can get a pizza made with whatever I want as topping and my husband can have his plain Jane pizza. Their beers are good and the staff is always friendly. THAT being said let me explain why there are only 4 out of 5 stars… NOCHANGINGTABLE! This is a family joint. You’re serving pizza and kid friendly ½ & ½ Pizzas. Families are going to come here, there should be a place for Moms & Dads to change a diaper if needed. Twice my daughter has needed a diaper while we were at the garage(I guess its her poop place) and I have had to take her out to my trunk to change her diaper, its unacceptable. Will the lack of a changing table keep me from going to have awesome pizza, NO! BUT I definitely have to think ahead before we go with our kids. Laying her on the bathroom floor isn’t an option and I cant take my changing table with me wherever I go so get with the program Garage Brewing.

On the recommendation of a golf course pro shop employee, I decided to head over to Garage to see what he was raving about. It’s technically in Old Town, but way way way down near the freeway entrance, so you won’t want to park in ‘old town’ and walk… it’s absolutely a driving scenario. Parking is ok, there’s a strip on the side of the building, covered motorcycle parking behind that, and I assume additional parking near where the gas station is. Depending on which door you walk in, figuring out where to go could be confusing. They have one door by the bar area, and another one more towards where you order your pizza. Ordering was a breeze, it’s just like pie-ology, or any similar build your own pizza place. The day we were there, they were running a special for a side salad, and a pizza with as many toppings as we wanted for a reasonable price. I can’t remember exactly what it was, but it’s seemed ok at the time. So we got the caesar salad, and a pizza with pepperoni, bell peppers, sausage, mushrooms, and several other toppings that escape me at the moment. I had one of the Garage IPA’s, and it was pretty good. The pizza came out quickly, and tasted fine. All the ingredients and dough were fresh, so that’s a huge plus right there. As we were leaving a ridiculously large MC was pulling up to eat, and I’m glad we got out when we did. I can see that place getting super rowdy with the right group of people. All in all, i would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good beer and a casual bite to eat.

I’m not the biggest fan of build your own pizza places that seem to be all the rage right now. I’m just not that good at picking out flavors that work well together. This is also, largely, why I’m not the one that does any non-recipe cooking. Anyway, I appreciate that Garage had some pre-done options, so I know that what I get will taste good! Plus, the wet wipes were a welcome surprise. Pizza tends to be messier than people think(or maybe I’m just messy) so I was glad to have them. I definitely enjoyed their beer offerings as well. I tried the Inline IPA and one of the limited additions, which I am now regretting not writing down. Both were tasty. The Inline was better than the other one, but I’ve been in an IPA mood lately, so that probably has something to do with it. The Marshmallow Stout sounded interesting, as did the spicy stouts. I didn’t try them, though, because I’m not a spicy beer person. Those coming in to fill growlers seemed to enjoy their tastes though. The only reason I’m giving three stars and not four is that the set up is kind of difficult. I mean, I understand why it’s like that, but it’s difficult to figure out at first. We walked in on the pizza side, and just kind of stood there looking around. If we had walked in on the beer/bar side, it seemed like there was more signage. That being said, I also saw a few customers try to order food from the bar, only to be sent back to the line. I wish there was a way to get the pre-selected pizzas via the bar at the very least. I’ll be back next time I head up to the wine country. It’s a welcome addition to the pricier lunch options in the area.

Okay, I’m upping my rating from our first visit. Kinda learned the ropes last time about ordering and since I signed up for the text alerts for specials and birthday we went again because I got a free custom pizza and dessert pizza. I honestly had not been in any hurry to go again but my birthday deal was too good to pass up! My wife and I, a pair of «oldsters» went on a Tues. night around 5:15 hoping to beat the crowd. We each ordered pizzas and mine went something like this: pepperoni, spicy sausage, ham, basil marinara, mozzarella, chicken, mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. The toppings covered my pie much better than last time, a meat eaters dream. To be fair, I didn’t order enough toppings last time. The girl at the register took my info from the text they sent for my birthday deal and we ordered an apple, cinnamon sugar dessert pizza to go. Pros: great deal with the birthday offer saved us $ 17 bucks! No kidding! Pizza tasted really good and it really is custom, so by ordering stuff I like it’s hard not to like. Service was great, food came up pretty quick. Place was clean. Cons: Noise level is high. Very much like being in a real, high ceiling garage. Large groups and happy beer drinkers did make us want to take some of our food home to eat later. I’m not against beer drinkers since I love craft beer. Pick your table away from the bar if loud conversation might put a damper on your eating experience, or if your an «oldster» like me. Dessert pizza needs a different, better tasting crust. The same pizza dough isn’t working on the sweet ones in my opinion.

Excellent pizza crust! You choose the toppings so if you don’t like it, blame yourself! Unlike Blaze and other flash fired pizza places they have the crust down to a perfect crisp! The chorizo is pretty spicy and a good kick to liven up your pizza! The kids pizza is pretty cool half cheese half cinnamon apple! Skip the dessert pizzas and save room for a marshmallow milk stout… Or two! Family friendly brewery!

Looking for a lunch stop after our drive from Palm Springs to Temecula, we ended up here and had a very enjoyable lunch. It is confusing when you walk in, we weren’t exactly sure what to do. We figured out tht you seat yourself and then proceed cafeteria style along the ordering line and either order a «set» pizza or salad from their menu, or you can hand craft your custom meal to your own personal specs. We had a side salad with gorgonzola($ 3) and pizzas with Canadian bacon and hot sausage($ 8 each). The pizzas are very thin crusted and are about the right size for a hungry adult. I tried some of each and they were pretty darned good. And of course, garage Brewing is also a brewery, so I had a $ 6.25, 16-oz glass of their Blueberry Cream Ale and it was stellar. As a first timer, I found the set-up a little confusing, but it didn;t take us long to become fans.

Haven’t gotten a chance to eat here yet, but will definitely give it a try soon since I really like Pieology and that whole personal«bake n’ wait» custom pizza concept. With that said, this review is more for their beer. So far I’ve tried their mango hef, nitro milk stout, and their marshmallow milk stout. All were fairly good, I’d say a solid 3.75 stars, with a round up to 4 stars since they’re so close to my house and the growlers are a great price. The stouts are not too heavy and have really good flavor without that weird after taste you sometime get with flavored brews. The mango hef has a very light mango flavor which goes over really well.

If you like the new trend of pizzaras like«Blaze» where you can custom build your own with an unlimited option for toppings from a very robust varied selection of meats, veggies, etc, and it’s prepared in mere minutes… then The Garage Brewing Co is for you… it most certainly is for me! I like the thin crust, it’s refreshing and doesn’t cause food coma. I love the concept. The quality of food is excellent. The prices are fair and reasonable. The service is nice and friendly. The cleanliness and atmosphere is family friendly and casually nice. If driving from San Diego to Los Angeles and passing through Temecula, this is a place I’d highly recommend. You get in and out quickly so you’re not adding into your commute travel time, and it’s quick(not fast) food that is prepared custom to order and you can be in/out within 30 mins for a nice sit down meal. Parking is easy in the lot.

Great place to hang out and catch up with friends over good food and even better beer! We came here because they offered so many interesting sounding beers and this place was super close to our hotel. For the beer, we tried the mango hefeweizen, apricot wit, marshmallow milk stout, the tow truck, and a few more. Even for me, someone who’s not too big on beer, I thought these were good! My favorites were the apricot and the mango one – subtle fruit taste and not too strong :) The pizzas were also really good! Love the thin crust and the unlimited toppings that you can put on. Service was also fast and friendly. Definitely check this place out!

So we went to Garage brewing after a long day of brewery hopping. We heard great things about the pizza and were expecting a brewery. Walking in, I was kinda thinking wtf as I walked through the gas station parking lot. Totally different vibe from the other«actual breweries» I visited that day. When we got inside, the place was packed, with families, and more, like a rest stop on the highway. It had a subway/rest stop ordering from beyond the glass thing going on. Pick your bread(dough), pick your toppings, pick your drink… Aka the chipotle/subway of pizza. I wasn’t impressed by the theme. My table had a wonderful view overlooking the gas station. As for the beer, I had already been to 5 other breweries that day. It would’ve been hard to impress me based on the vibe I was getting. I don’t particularly remember anything standing out to me, even though our group shared a flight of every beer. The pizza tasted fine, and so did the salad. But to get a good review, with the word brewery in your name… You’re gonna have to do a whole lot better than that.

1st Timer! My cousin who lives in Temecula had invited us out for Pizza and Beer. I was curious at first because I’ve never been to a brewery that also served Pizza. Once we had arrived this place literally looked like a garage from the outside and upon entering it’s a sports bar with a pizza station(just like subway where you choose your style of bread, sauce, meats, & veggies) to create your own pizza. There was only about 10 beers on tap. Small selection but great quality craft beers. I’m a big fan of IPA’s and their inline IPA is very smooth. My favorite though was the belgium triple Tow truck. The milk stout I can appreciate, smooth beginning kinda black bitter coffee taste at the end. The mango hefe is probably the best hefe i’ve tried yet. I gave this place a 4 star because of how early this places closes especially during a Friday night when we came. However, I would definitely come back for good pizza and good beer and huge TV.
