I bought a box of Ultra 25 Probiotic Complex($ 49.95) and was taking it for three days when I noticed that it was expired. I took it back and they tried to charge me more money for the replacement of expired goods. Saying that I had taken some. The return policy says on the back of your receipt — that if you are not satisfied, return your purchase to any GNC store with your receipt within 30 days for a full refund. The female manager said that because I took some that policy did not apply. I wonder what the FDA will say? Selling expired goods.

I have been buying my sups from this location for the past year or so, but after today that has come to an end. My latest trip there uncovered some pretty crumby customer service. As I pulled into my parking spot, the one employee was locking the front door. I asked ‚” are you guys closed?” And he told me that he was on break and couldn’t help anyone for 35 mins. I told him that I only needed to grab some multivitamins and he said ‚“sorry, I already clocked out.” So I stood there until he returned with his bag of chic-filet, and looking surprised that I waited for 20 mins. I walked back to the door and he told me that even though he was back, he still couldn’t sell me anything due to being on break… And that I would have to wait another 15 mins. At this point I was just astonished that GNC, would have a corporate store that would just randomly be closed in the middle of the day. Especially when the store hours are listed as it the location being open during that time. As I waited for this employee to return from his mid-day chic-filet run, I watched 3 other prospective customers tug in the locked door and walk away. I am just blown away that the staffing of a credible chain store is that poor and the the employee did not show any concern or care when I told him that I would just go to the closest vitamin shoppe. Later GNC, it was real… It was fun… But it wasn’t real fun.

A little pricey but they had what I was looking for. It’s clean, well stocked and the people there are helpful and friendly. I am also glad it’s not in the mall.

Gotta love my beast mode store. Too much money is spent when I visit here. Thank god for goldcard week.
