Ok so here’s the rub: Both Kenny G and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth are regulars here. No joke. Click on the Hana website and you’ll be gently submerged in the warm bubble bath Kenny G jazz-flute-thing as it lures you into a drive up the 15. Can u imagine both of those wonder-twin powers combining to make music? It can only mean 1 thing: the Sushi here is exceptional! And I can say with experience: it is. I’m not a sushi snob, but as far as taste, attn. to detail and presentation, this is the best I’ve had yet. I know I know, Temecula? How? I dunno dude. How do u build space shuttles? Ya just build em. I got the spicy yellowtail and the cajun. On the freshness scale of 1 – 10 it popped like an 11. My god, all that fresh fish and savory spicy sauces groping around on your tongue like belly dancers in Kenny G’s lair. More I say. More! And the service is on par with anything Mr. Pink could possibly expect: I got my iced-tea refilled 6 times. And for the grand finale? Went face down in some soft mochi. It was the perfect artfully laid-out ‘happy ending’ to my meal, if you know what I mean. Price-wise Hana is a bit upwards but man, you really do get what u pay for here. I’ll be back Kenny. — — play Kenny G here.

This place was awesome! Been looking for a sushi place in the area and this does it. Chef Georgie and waitress Sarah took care of us and all their recommendations were superb! Definitely coming again!

The sushi here has always been great. Service is amazing! We have probably been here at least 25 times, however, the last time at the sushi bar was a problem. It was 8:45pm on a Friday night and lots of people still at the sushi bar. We were eating our last roll and someone came out from the back and started cleaning the glass case in front of us spraying windex. The ammonia smell came right into our eating area and it was gross!!! We asked him nicely if he could WAIT until we were done. He went away but a few minutes later a SUSHICHEF came and started spraying the windex again! We were basically done but we were still enjoying our drinks. We don’t expect to pay over $ 100 for dinner and have to suck up cleaning product fumes. We are giving a four instead of five stars due to this incident.

Great service, wide variety of choices, and nice atmosphere. I had the Spanish roll with Salmon, Crab, Cucumber, Cilantro, Green Onion, Avocado, and Jalapeño. It all tasted great and I topped it off with Crazy Milk Nigori. I will definitely return to this restaurant.

The service was TERRIBLE. My friend and I can in for a late afternoon lunch. The place was empty(except for one other party), as expected for the time. The female server and to the both tables to get our drink orders. The other table ordered special drinks, we ordered water. Our waitress took a ridiculously long time making those special drinks. After 20 minutes she finally returned, only to ignore us and focus on the other table. We finally placed our order. When the food arrived, the noodle dish we ordered tasted like top ramen with vegetables and meat. The only difference: I had to pay $ 14 instead of 25 cents. Bad service and bad(overpriced) food compounded together ruined this trip. I will never go back to this frustrating restaurant.

Super tasty and awesome sushi makers. It’s a little pricey compared to other places but the service and freshness of the fish is awesome.

The sushi Chefs take extreme pride in everything they put out. Their attention to detail makes this place the best. Being from LA I didn’t have high expectations walking but this place is a hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back.

Amazing sushi! The fish is fresh and very tasty. The chef’s are very friendly and listen to exactly what you want. The ginger dressing is unbelievable! I just wanted to drink it! We had the sushi and sashimi combo. Great sushi at a great value! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Got a to-go order of two rainbow rolls to eat on the way out of town. The seaweed wasn’t fresh, and completely ruined the roll for me. There was an overpowering fish taste that I literally had to spit out the roll into my napkin. I ended up spending $ 32 for disgusting sushi. The fish all tasted the same and the avocado wasn’t ripe yet to be used/eaten. I will never come to this place again. YUCK.

The food was GREAT. However, they apparently mixed up our order and tempura-fried the wrong rolls, so we had to wait extra-long for them to re-make four rolls. It was pretty frustrating, especially because we were ordering to-go and taking it home to people who were getting hungrier by the minute.

Decent sushi for the area. They do have a great happy hour though, I definitely recommend the fried squid rolls. Their atmosphere is also very calming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Nice place to go for a weekday lunch

Pretty good sushi place, the food is very fresh. Customer service is pretty good as well. The only thing I can say is that they need to lower their prices, they are too expensive.

Our favorite sushi place, hands down! Splurged and tried the King Crab Roll and was not disappointed. Service is always great and food comes out quickly. We don’t go anywhere else for sushi anymore! The portions are larger than other local sushi joints. Sashimi is always on point!

The Protein Roll is to die for! It has no rice so it keeps it healthy and low carb! Everyone is always really nice here and is always kept super clean! I have had almost every roll here and I love them all! The Viking Roll is also delicious and I love how they present it! Presentation for all rolls is always beautiful.

Let’s just say«I don’t love Hana sushi.» The fish was very mushy. Don’t order the raw stuff, the fish is not fresh. Service was okay. All the sushi rolls were basically different variants of California rolls. Very pricey for the quality that you get. This place only has good ratings because it’s located in Temecula.

Location: Off Ynez Across from the Bank of America. Parking: Its one suite of a one-level building that has parking for all businesses. I was able to find a spot not too far from the entrance. Ambiance: You walk in and there are plants and the sushi bar is straight ahead to the left. There are tables dividing the restaurant and booths are on the far right side. At the back there is a bar with lots of different types of alcohols on display on shelves. You are greeted by the hostess, a server, and a sushi chef simultaneously. Great sushi restaurant feel and welcome. Service: We were seated at the bar by a server who also provided us with water, we were then greeted by our sushi chef with ginger, wasabi and sprouts. Our sushi chef was a very funny guy who folded a seaweed wrap over his front tooth to make it seem like he was missing a tooth. He also joked around about different things throughout our meal. We initially told him that my girlfriend was allergic to avocado and as a joke he put a whole avocado on a plate and put it in front of her chair as a surprise for when she came back from the restroom. Food: We ordered the Lunch special, which was 3 half orders of House rolls for $ 16 and an order of yellowtail sashimi and an order of unagi nigiri. All of which were very presentable and well crafted. The lunch special consisted of the Funky Monkey, Hot Night and the Hana Special house Roll. Funky Monkey was deepfried with a jalapeño for those who enjoy deep fried as well as spicy. Hot night is a great roll that has a little zing and the Hana Roll was definitely a must have! I was referred to this place by a co-worker and was told it was the best local spot to visit for sushi. I haven’t been to too many sushi places in Temecula but this place really did set the bar high. 5 out of 5 Across the Board!

I was looking for some sushi to munch in between wine tastings in Temecula, and a friend suggested Hana Sushi. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! Although it can normally be bit pricey, go there for the sushi combo lunch special and you’ll agree it’s a good deal! The lunch special consists of three half rolls chosen from a special menu that has around a dozen rolls to choose from. Several of them are deep fried, so my girlfriend and I avoided those. However, the three we chose were delicious! One was the Golden Hana roll with tuna and salmon on top and crab and mango and green onion inside, which was served with two tasty sauces. The fish was very tender melted in my mouth. The next was Scotty’s Roll, which had albacore and jalapeño on top. Despite the jalapeño, it was delicate and not overpowering. Last in the combo was the BBQ Cowboy roll. I don’t normally order beef in a roll, but my girlfriend chose this one, so who am I to complain? I thanked her afterwards because the beef was very tender, and the sweet sauce on top made each bite taste similar to beef teriyaki. We also ordered the special roll of the day, which was the Sunset Special Roll. It has tender salmon, avocado, and thin slices of lemon on top with a special crab mix inside. This roll was my favorite by far, as the lemon added a wonderful complexity to each bite! We sat at the bar and watched our food being made, which was very cool. We didn’t see our server much, but the food was made quickly and our drinks were kept full. Plates were also cleared quickly, so I have no complaints whatsoever! I will definitely go back very soon.
