Incr-edible Cupcakes

I’m sure the cupcakes are great– IF I ever get to actually try them! The hours are so odd. Closed Monday AND Tuesday? Why? Everytime I try to go to this place it’s closed. I’m bitter. I usually don’t review places that I haven’t at least tried and I’m sure it seems unfair, but I feel it’s unfair that every time I want to go to this place it’s closed. They close at 8 on Friday and 8:30 on Saturday? Why? Who could ever remember these weird changing times? Props to the people who’ve managed to make it into this place.

Incr-​edible Cupcakes was a godsend! They let us do a cake tasting just 3 DAYS before the wedding. We chose Lemon, Pumpkin, and Apple Pie cupakes. They even made a simple (gorgeous) cake for us to cut. No decoration on the cupcakes were needed. They were elegant and DELICIOUS!

This is my absolute favorite cupcake place! My boyfriend knows how much I love these cupcakes so he surprises me at work with them sometimes and it totally makes my day! Sometimes the frosting kinda solidifies being in the refigerator but if you let it sit out for a bit it becomes soft. Either way the cupcakes are DELICIOUS! Haven’t had one that I didn’t love yet!

I came into this shop a week before my babyshower and was so happy to find someone available to make my cake with such short notice! I showed the lady my pinterest screenshot and described any changes I wanted. She was really helpful and drew up something that matched my vision perfectly! Everyone loved the cake and we’re even more suprised it tasted so good. ** a plus was trying the coffee/​donut cupcake while waiting =) Delicious

Love this place! They have a different selection of tasty treats everytime. My favs are the nutella and death by chocolate but seriously you can’t go wrong with any that you choose to indulge in! Having a big sweet tooth and tasting many cupcakes from a variety of places this place won’t dissapoint. When in old Town Temecula stop by and take some home.

I have had the cupcakes a few times and they have always been amazing, but what always keeps me coming back is the staff. Everyone I have dealt with when coming into the establishment has gone above and beyond for me.
It is often rare to find stores where you really feel like you have that 1 on 1 customer service, but Incr-​edible Cupcakes has it in abundance. The service I received for the recent work birthday party was so amazing that I will definitely be recommending them again to all my family and friends.

This is my go –to cupcake place in Old town. I used to come quite often. When they first opened they would do a lot of specials where you could come in for two cupcakes and end up leaving with an entire pack for the same price.
They always have plenty of flavors to choose from. I follow them on Facebook because they would update the flavors they would carry in the store that day thru there. They would even offer discounts or specials going on thru there too. I haven’t noticed anything posted in a very long time though.
The cupcakes are good but not great. It also depends on the flavor. Some are more moist than others. The frosting is a butter cream base and not my favorite. I remember liking the bacon maple cupcake, an eggnog cupcake, and lemon raspberry best out of all the ones Ive tried. The uniqueness with the flavors they come up with is pretty awesome.

We saw a guy holding a sign advertising this cupcake store. My girlfriend and I went in and got a red velvet cupcake and Smore’s cupcake. The cupcakes were not bad but not the best we have ever had. The texture was a little too crumbly. When I took the paper liner off the cake just came apart and I had to eat it with a fork in pieces. The same thing happened with my girl friends cupcake. They were reasonably priced and the shop is cute.

The best cupcakes I ever ate in my life. I wish they would make one as big as my bed so I can dive in it. Ask for «Chica». She is the bomb.

The cupcakes were amazing! There were too many favorites to name. The cupcake was moist and icing flavored were delicious and flavorful. Customer service is friendly and the shop was cute and inviting! I highly recommended for baby showers, birthdays and parties!

The sign twirl got us in. Tucked away off front street. Nice gem for all cupcake lovers.

I had a Butterfinger cupcake that was pretty good… I would get it again. I was a little disappointed by the lack of variety and they definitely rely on their frosting/​toppings and not so much on the cake which was a bit on the dry side.
It was also a little disappointing that in such a small town where everyone is so friendly and inviting that this place had a pretty dry teenage girl running the place. When we walked in there was no one inside (working or eating) and the girl came out from the back, got us our cupcakes and benignly informed us that they were out of beverages when we requested to purchase one. As soon as she gave us our cupcakes she immediately headed to the back where I could hear a TV playing. She didn’t say a word to us other than the drink issue and how much we owed her and then left us sitting there for 15 minutes alone in her shop unattended while we ate.

They «won» a «cupcake wars», so they should be good, right?
The packaging staff and marketing were nice, but the cupcakes themselves tasted terrible. The anticipation of paying over $ 6 for two cupcakes was gravely disappointing. I was expecting to taste quality ingredients.
I actually asked twice is the frosting on the red velvet cupcake was cream cheese base or butter cream, more tart than sweet. The lovely sales clerk assured me it had a cream cheese frosting. When we got home a 100 miles away, we discovered they were not. It tasted like a Von’s chocolate cupcake with white frosting. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but this was no award winning cupcake. That is worth three dollars plus change.
I think the moral of the story is to stop trying to find another great red velvet cup cake, once you’ve had the best, everything pales in comparison. However, it’s wasn’t just the red velvet. The other cupcake was the chocolate salted caramel. Sounded and looked good, the cupcake, again, a nice Von’s tasting chocolate cupcake, but the topping was not real homemade caramel cooked in the back with the finest butter. Nope, it tasted synthetic like it was made with corn syrup and a bunch of ingredients I wouldn’t be able to pronounce that may have come out of a prepackaged 5 gallon plastic tub. Sorry, we wanted to like these, but they were terr-​edible.

Picked up a couple of cupcakes today and they were just ok. Nothing inspiring about them. Even my 13 year old wasn’t impressed. To top things off, the young lady at the counter made me feel as if she didn’t want to serve me. It took her a mighty long time to say hello when she was clearly NOT busy and just waiting for something to do.
Will I be coming back? Highly unlike. Could I recommend this place to others? No. Will I try to dissuade others from visiting this place? No. This place just isn’t my cup of tea

This bakery is located in Old Town Temecula, which can get very busy on weekends; the nearby parking structure is free and I think most street parking around here is free too.

Incr-​edible Cupcakes was part of our first wedding cupcake taste test, against Truly Madly Sweetly cupcakes. We definitely were intrigued by the «Cupcake Wars» winner sign on the restaurant (yeah Food Network!). And the woman working here was SO nice and friendly. She was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about weddings. They definitely beat Truly Madly Sweetly in that sense.
Yet when we got home and did our taste test, Incr-​edible Cupcakes was in second place. Their cupcakes were just not as moist as Truly Madly Sweetly. I wanted them to win because of the service, but the taste just wasn’t as good.
They definitely get stars for great service and effort!

Gross. I don’t know if they’re resting on their laurels after Cupcake Wars or what, but I tried this place for the first time yesterday and was totally underwhelmed and even kind of offended by how bad these were (especially at the high price point).
The website touts, «Our Company is inspired by the delightful tastes that make you remember a winter day and your mother baking warm cupcakes swirled in your favorite milk chocolate icing.» Aside from that not being a sentence that means things, their cupcakes reminded me of none of those things. They reminded me of a fridge full of spoiled Chinese food, a fridge from which they were surely pulled that morning.
The icing was a cold clump of shortening and powdered sugar. The cake was dry and STALE. They overcompensate with these stupid, tall mounds of icing that you can’t possibly (and really don’t want to) eat. When you try, your mouth just kind of pushes the whole stupid clump right off the cupcake in one firm piece. A+ for icing durability. Also A+ for making me look like a baby aardvark learning to eat things. That was cool of you.
Rarely do cupcakes go uneaten in my home, and even more rarely do cupcakes make me want to drop F-​bombs all over the place. Maddening. Awful. I want to open an awesome cupcake shop next door because I’m so mad. You know those mini cupcakes that appear in the Target dollar section sometimes? Way better. I’m serious. These are so bad. I don’t trust anyone who gives this place a good rating. Horrifying.
PS can someone please make a pun about «In-​EDIBLE cupcakes» but funnier?

I’m not particularly picky about my cupcakes, but I was very disappointed in the cupcake I tried from here.
Maybe I just had high expectations because they advertise that they were on cupcake wars so much, or maybe because their cupcakes seem to be overpriced.
Regardless, my peanut butter fudge cupcake was extremely dry. The person on duty didn’t have many recommendations when I was asking for help on which cupcake I should get. All he had to say was, «they all taste good»
Maybe I just went on a bad day. It doesn’t have the greatest location and the door makes that annoying tacky beeping noise when you walk in. I may or may not return.

I might have to agree that the customer service was non-​existent. The location is kinda weird (right below the Gambling Cowboy Saloon) and off the main street. Only reason we saw it was a little sign on the sidewalk and a sign twirler (actually just a kid standing there holding a poster).
We came in on a Saturday around 230pm and they still had a decent selection. I always forget to take pictures! We got the Cherry Chip (had a cherry on top… yumm) and the Old Fashioned Cupcake with Yellow cake and chocolate frosting. The frosting is not super rich (which I loved) and the perfect amount. For two cupcakes, it was $ 6.50 so not too bad.
So, here’s the annoying attributes. They have a black chalkboard hanging up on the wall showing different sizes of cupcakes, brownies and cookies and different types of drinks. My Mom asked if they have brownies and they said no we don’t have any and then we asked for cookies and she kind of got an attitude and said «whatever is showing in the display case is what you can buy.» Wow. Okay. You are a new business, you shouldn’t write something on your menu showing what you have and then not have them to sell! Kinda weird. Plus, she was just plain rude (which was un-​neccesary).
But, other than that, I loved the cupcakes and I know they have deals thru their facebook so I will be coming back. They were on Cupcake Wars recently too. Let’s hope they figure out the kinks and act a little nicer to new customers!!!
