This review is long overdue but also very hard for me to post. We are the«lucky ones» on Valentine’s Day this year my husband and I were doing some yard work in the back we have a pool and a sliding door we were in and out of the yard and the house all morning my son(11mo.) Hutch was only crawling at this time. I brought him in to change his diaper and after I did I set him down he crawled out to the living room where I thought my husband was. Only he was in the bathroom which if your husband is like mine is usually a half hour ordeal… Anyways I was sitting in my sons rocking chair reading an article on my phone(which makes me sick) Hutch crawled out to an empty living room I was sucked into my story he went through the living room and out the sliding door which got left open to the empty yard with our in ground pool. My husband by the grace of God there is seriously no other answer felt like things were too quit and came out and saw Hutch at the edge of our pool reaching his hand in seriously seconds away from falling in. I had never in my life felt more sick and awful in my whole life but it taught me the most valuable lesson I think I could ever have learned that it truly can happen to anyone at any time! That day I started googling swim lessons and found infant aquatics when I realized how amazing this was that a woman literally miles from my house was teaching survival swimming to infants I was over joyed! We started classes the following week Hutch was 11 months old and he did phenomenal Kris is our angel she not only taught my son how to float by himself but she also gave us so many pool safety tips. The patience and drive she has to see these kids succeed is like nothing I have ever seen before. The family that had class after me drove 2 hours EACHWAY to have this class if that doesn’t say something I don’t know what does! There is no other training this early on that I think is more beneficial. I was so proud of Hutch after each class and was never worried while he was in the water I knew he was struggling at times but he was safe and this was all part of the process, and especially after going through what we had went through seeing him cry some days was the least of my worries! Our son not only learned to float but he also learned to respect the pool he wasn’t curious anymore and like Kris says the pool means I have to work to breathe! He truly never goes near our pool when we are in the pool he enjoys being close to us and is not scared. I cannot wait to bring him back for swimming lessons. Kris has devoted her life to helping our babies I will never be able to thank her enough for all her hard work.

I brought both my son and my daughter when they were about 1yr old. There is basically not enough stars to rate Ms. Kris on this Unilocal page. Ms. Kris is AMAZING! Both my kids were/are tough cookies to train but she worked her magic and made both of my kids outstanding swimmers and floaters!!! I highly recommend by passing all of those other«swim classes» and sign up for this Swim Aquatics Program worth the time and expense to know your little one(s) will be safe in the water.

I brought my now 20 month old daughter for Swim, Float, Swim lessons with Kris. I wanted to make sure she was ready and safe for summer and pool weather. We had been to Mommy and Me swim lessons before when she was about 6 months old but those lessons are more about feeling comfortable in the water and bonding with your baby. Swim, Float, Swim is a more intense and practical use of your money and I cannot say enough good things about it. At first my daughter would cry and cry but I noticed she was learning along the way, despite her protests. I became a little discouraged when as the lessons progressed, she continued to cry and scream. But with the reassurance from Kris and her determination to teach my baby infant survival skills, my daughter is a completely different baby in the pool! I am so amazed at how relaxed she is in the water now, switching from swimming to floating and back to swimming again. She knows how to find the walls and stairs in a pool and seems to be having a pretty good time. Now the only time she cries is when her lesson is done! I feel so much safer around pools now and plan to continue the maintainence lessons and fun classes she offers.
