BEWARE!!! First of all, she refused to give me any idea what my flowers were going to look like for my wedding. She showed a few books and I told her what I liked, but I was told to not bring pictures so that the florist can custom design a feel for me. However, you are just going to have to guess if she felt you out right because even though we were spending $ 10,000 on flowers with her, she resisted having to go buy flowers to make one small reception dinner bouquet to show me what she might do. I insisted. Thank GOD, because we were not at all on the same page.
So after spending several hours on the phone and on email she told me no problem, she’s got it. I told her verbally and in email that my cake had flowers on it and I needed her to contact the cake designer.
Nope– on the day of my wedding my coordinator told me they realized they missed the flowers on the cake early in the day. Roses– did she go get some? NOPE… stopped decorating at 3pm and left even though guests would not be arriving for 3 more hours. She just left early and did not make it right! THEN, tried to blame the cake decorator, but I saved my emails. She was busted.
Also, the picture of the bouquets I sent to her that I paid $ 700 each for– about ½ the size of the picture I sent her and not at all impressive. I could have done what she did for $ 30. Unfortunately, we paid her upfront.
The reception dinner flowers were beautiful, but we told her we wanted ALL the tables to have a high arrangement and a low arrangement. She had only low arrangements on several tables.
When I called her after to voice my disappointments, she was her normal I dont care I am better than this self.
Trust me, there are much better people to work with in this world. Just trust me.
